But just now I noticed that another nail has a huge chip/rip in the polish. This manicure cost over $60.00 and hasn't lasted even a week - beyond the chips I now have hangnails which I've never had before. My hands look worse than they did before. I've included a photo of today's damage. Six days, $60.00 and this is what I have to show for it. UPDATE - a second photo as I woke up this morning with another chipped nail. Three chipped nails in under a week. UPDATE - a third photo as a fourth nail chipped today at work. Four chipped nails in a week.

The massage chairs for the pedicure are comfy with lots of settings to play with. Sofia did my pedicure and Cynthia did my manucure. I was happy with both. Tragic(it lasted me only for a week). I stopped by to request a booking. The salon was very packed and busy. A lady(who turned out to be the owner) came rushing to help me book an appointment. Unfortunately they have no more room for the day but she booked me for another day. I half sniffled-held up my broken nail finger and asked, "what should I do in a mean while?". And she gave a dramatic gasp and begin to file that *bleep* down for me. Pro. I returned the next day and it was dramatically different. There were no other clients in the salon and I was only one. I was greeted by Hannah & Cindy duo. It took me a while to try to decide what I would like for the colour change. They didn't rush me. They chatted and laughed along with me, making me feel very comfortable. Sure, it helps that I was the only one in and it was a down time. But I stayed getting my nails done until they were closing off the salon. And they never made me feel like they want to get rid of me as quick as possible for some relaxation of their own. Hannah in particular was the one who worked on my nails and she was so thorough and detailed. I'm not an expert on all these nail things and she took her time to answer all my questions. Including none-related cooking questions. I hope Hannah & Cindy are still around. They were such a great people to be around and made the whole experience great. My visit was 3 months ago. And I'm still writing this review. This should show how much of a great experience I've had in this location thanks to those two!

I desperately needed a shellac pedicure and decided to take open the door and take a chance to see if they would take me as a walk-in. Luckily, Allure was able to take me immediately. May was the lady who took her time and provided the best foot/leg massage with my pedicure. May started with the usually foot soak, nail trim, salt scrub, treat calluses, massage (with hot stones and hot towels!) and moisturize. May spent a good 20 minutes with a good heavenly massage. Another lady stepped in to finish with the colour and polish protector. I appreciate the ladies taking the time for each customer and I never feel rushed to get out of the chair. I could certainly be back again. I think they did a fantastic job. My shellac pedicure was $48 plus another $5 to take off the old one, so competitive with other nail spas. The shop was clean and I noticed on the wall a posted indicating certain stalls for parking. But I also fine easy parking 1 to 2 block west and east of 7 and 8th Avenue.

Santize the chair om which the cleint sat, discard the disposable feetwash basin, desensitized each and every bottle and trolleys used, got rid of one time used cleaning equipments n desensitized the rest. Cleaned the window screens n table top. I mean everything as i was watching when they were busy doing my pedicure n manicure with beautiful chrome nailpaint on my original finger nails . I must say that my lady was detail Oriented and took her time to clean and paint my toe nails. Similarly manicure was done with care. The staff can speak good English even though they talk in their language. Clean washrooms and too many towels to be used after hands cleaning. Drinking water is available at request. The place didn't smell paint or anything like many other nail salon. So overall a lovely experience.

This is more a 3.5/5…read more Came here after work out of convenience. The salon is huge and nicely decorated, quite clean as well and spacious. Because of the location, prices were a bit high - I paid about $55 including tip for a gel mani and removal. Overall, it was a good experience, the manicurist was diligent although a bit slow. They don't use any electric tools for removing the polish or buffing your nails if you prefer that. She did a really good job shaping my nails but I think the polish application was so-so. She applied only two coats of the polish and didn't give me a chance to assess before doing the top coat - for my polish colour I would have preferred 3 coats as it's slightly see through and not as opaque as I'd like. The top coat application is what I'm least happy with - you can tell it wasn't smoothly applied, there are streaks on almost all the fingers and little dents where the top coat isn't smooth. They have a good color selection and possibility of being a good salon, but for the price and location, I feel like there's still a few things they need to work on!

I didn't make an appointment and Kathy took me in despite how busy they were. She was quick but she did a fantastic job with the set! I was absolutely amazed. The second time was for a nail removal. I didn't catch the name of the guy but he was super nice. I will admit that nail removals aren't my favourite thing to do and he checked in every 5 minutes to make sure he wasn't attacking my nails. Third time, I also didn't catch their names but these ladies did a wonderful job on my gel set and pedicure! The only thing I would suggest for pedicure is to warn us about the towel being extremely hot before setting it on our legs. But overall, she did an amazing job and it's still looking real good after 3 weeks.
