Could have been a one time deal, but maybe they still honour it, I'm not sure! I got in and the staff were so lovely. The spa is gorgeous... The owner is this beautiful lady and she was the perfect person to see for my injections since I was getting them in my jaw line to reduce jaw clenching pain and to thin out the jaw line. She really knew what she was doing. Her assistant was the sweetest guy ever and we laughed a lot. 2 weeks later, my jaw is no longer in excruciating pain and my face is looking more thin. Takes 3-6 weeks to experience the full effect. Would totally recommend this place for Dysport injections!

I have also had a couple waxing procedures here. Unlike any other salon the esthetician used a European hard wax product which is super gentle on the skIn. Overall a highly recommended salon!

His attitude suddenly changed after I mentioned my travels (and the hair stylist beside him declared defiantly that she is Ukrainian) and I can only say that he butchered my hair after that. In my defence, I have financially sponsored Ukrainian refugees to Canada and do not support Putin. As a client of Suki's since the '90s, I will not go back there again after this unprofessional conduct. I was willing to overlook him being an egomaniac but his lack of respect toward clients is beyond unprofessional. I should have opted out at ego-maniac. I used to cherish this salon due to the lore about Suki and loving the architecture of Arthur Erickson, but forget it. This salon is way past its prime.

THIS REVIEW FOR NATURAL BLONDES…read more For the non-blondes: It's hard to be a blonde. We have light hair. Light features. And our brows? Well, they tend to be... non-existent. My entire life has been a brow struggle. I could write an essay on that alone. I'm going to be honest. I won't be back for brows. I don't know if they just didn't have a range of tints to choose from, but she chose the darkest brown for my brows and told me to scrub them if they were too dark for me. It's not about even the skin tint, the hair colour is wrong. Yes, they were less bold, but the hairs are still nearly black. At other places, they've used a light brown which of course works better with my generally fair features. Do I have to come back more frequently? Yes, but that's also part of being a natural blonde. The shaping and wax was pretty wrong too. I know it's a challenge. They are blonde and I didn't give you how they normally look... but I was also looking to work with my brow shape thinking the microneedling experience would give you a reasonable idea on how to map them, etc... which is why I grew them out. I will certainly have to grow them back out over the next two months since the top-front of my brow was waxed away to a.. weird point? Having said that - they seem to have a lot of interesting services that I would like to try there - hydrofacial, microneedling... all of that. It was clean, quiet, and she worked dilligently and kindly. Parking is easy. I don't really hold it against the spa... very few people get this one right. It's been a struggle for many years. I'll come back and update my review on other services.

It also has a great inventory of good products. For such a busy area that the spa is located, there is ample street parking in the front that is free for 2 hours. In an area where there are plenty of businesses that are underperforming in the competency and service arenas, Nuestro Day Spa surprisingly stands out in a wonderfully refreshing way.
