Eggs Benedict - Two eggs Benedict topped with melted cheese are served on a yellow plate, accompanied by a small bowl of mixed fruit on a wooden table.

Stopped here for a late breakfast and noted the restaurant was almost empty, so we were seated quickly. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but no hash browns and opted for fresh fruit--at $2.29 extra. Hubby ordered the Huevos Rancheros at $14.99 and also added fruit and a coffee at $3.50. Hubby's skillet didn't look bad, but because I didn't want hash browns got a huge plate with two of the smallest poached eggs benedict I've ever seen. It tasted okay--but realized it would not be enough. Hubby gave me half his skillet, which, predictably, had a little bite to it. The restaurant didn't have loud music, but neither was it a happy vibe, standard service but no offer for additional water. I felt the prices were high for both the taste and the portion. Not impressed.

After church pancakes are my favorite! And I selected Jelly Pancake House as my choice of yum this morning! I had seen this breakfast spot from the highway a million times, so today I decided to go in and enjoy. Walking through the doors brought me JOY! The color scheme just captured me. Sunflower Yellow I will call it. It was saying "Hello, how can I hug you..?" lol. Check out my images, and you will see how fun this place is decorated. It is small and intimate inside for sure, but believe that this place is a gem. Announcement! There is a full service bar here! From what I hear, the Bloody Mary's and the Mimosas are the BEEZ KNEEZ!!!!!!! When I walked in, the first thing that I saw was the margarita machines!!!!!! Wowzers!!!!!! BRUNCH ME PLEASE! Oh! And the breakfast drink prices are very reasonable *wink, wink*. A little background of this place: Located in Dyer Indiana. I was told that a few months back, the restaurant was purchased by an individual that owns another restaurant by the name of Grady's in Homewood, IL. I thought that was pretty cool. The place was already established, however once purchased, the decor inside was kept. The inside of this intimate space SCREAMS MUSIC LOVER!!!!!! My eyes were happy to be there, and soon my tummy would be as well. Selections: I ordered coffee. Hot and yummy. Simple, yet satisfying. I ordered the veggies skilllet with pancakes(they come with the skillet). My company ordered a dish(I won't slaughter the spelling here, but it is named ON my images). It came with grits. An orange juice was ordered as well. The order came out fast, and it was hot. The first forkful was rushed and I DID burn the inside of my mouth (all my fault) Lol. I was HANGRY. The entree was fresh. Every bite was a fresh vegetable kiss, and I was pleased. I like to keep my breakfast straight to the point, and I was glad of my selection and the yum yum it rendered. The other dish ordered was gobbled up as well. It was reported that the grits were so creamy! I smiled. The conversation of the grits, carried far beyond the table and into the car. So, I am sure it's safe to say, the grits are a huge hit at Jelly! Lol Food quality definitely a solid 10 out of 10 if I had to rate it. The manager joined us at our table as I talked about my experience with this nice establishment. I asked about a beverage I saw at another table. I assumed it was a margarita-it was not. They have infused herbal teas. What I mean by infused (it does not mean cannabis at all!). Fyi He brought over to the table an example of the tea infuser. I was shocked! Never had I seen one so cool (I have one at home), but i had never seen one like theirs. Their tea selections is large, and I will definitely try a tea upon returning. There is such a variety of things to eat and drink at Jelly, there is no way one could come just once. You have to dine in several times to get the full experience of all it's splendor and yummy. To the manager Juvi, thank you for being kind, attentive, and helpful. I enjoyed the exchange. Thank you for listening to me ramble:) There are great things happening at this restaurant for sure. My hopes is that this establishment continues to grow in excellence with each encounter as you feed each tummy at a time! Hey Jelly! I will be back for more yummy experiences. And as always, you don't have to take my word for it friends- GO GET YOU SOME!

Food was great, even had left over pancakes that were just as good the next day. Service was polite and quick. The restaurant is in a plaza but was unconfined and felt open. Clean tables and floors always a plus. Would come back

I had the jambalaya skillet and it was excellent. My wife had the eggs Benedict and said it was really good. The tomato juice is great as well. The service was good the restaurant was very very cold. Everybody in their had their jackets on and we're complaining about how cold it was. The waitress said that the heat was broken yesterday and it got really really hot But when we went in there, it was ice cold.

Quirky little breakfast place in a strip mall. Decor was music themed with tables, booths and small bar area. They had a full bar and the mimosas we had were top notch. My friend had the steak burrito which she loved. It came with shredded hash browns. I had the crunchy French toast and sausage. Good seasoned sausage. The crunch could have been more on the French toast but it was still good. Service was quick and the waitress friendly. Bathroom was clean as well as the dining area. We will be back on another early morning excursion that takes us this way.

The waitress shirt and apron was filthy.

The waffle my husband ordered was the smallest he had ever received. The service was good. She was very pleasant. Over all the place inside is well kept.

A great strip mall find for Breakfast and lunch....amazing selection of food our Server Ashley was so sweet and welcoming made the stop even more enjoyable. Our food came out quick and hot and quick. The restaurant has a music theme decor

This place has really gone downhill. I felt bad for our server. She was incredibly nice, professional and deserves to get a job at a nicer place. The manager was visibly overwhelmed and even said so. The staff was not in an cohesive uniform, cellphones out in service areas, visible headphones on workers. The owners need to intervene.

    Receipt

Went in and even though my hearing is blocked by allergies it was louder than LalaPalooza. Asked to turn it down as I couldn't even hear my partner's conversation. Turned it down maybe 1. Asked again to turn it down and the waiter said the manager won't do it again. Seriously? Who wants to be blasted at 10:30 a.m.? My partner ordered a chorizo omelet WITHOUT any peppers. As receipt shows, because the waiter couldn't hear him, it was LOADED with green pepper. I asked for breakfast tea and I don't know what it was but it wasn't plain black Pekoe. AWFUL. Would give it no stars if allowed. NEVER going back. Will also tell friends to bring noise cancelling headphones if they decide to brave it.

Hmmm the actual logo on the building and the inside is homestyle but the menu is rock n roll?!?

Do not go to Jelly after 2:15 even though they claim to be open until 3 pm. They've turned us down twice with people still dining.

Major disappointment. $9.99 for a pitcher of orange juice? Insane. Food was meh. For those two reasons combined, I'm never going back.

Absolutely not! This was the dirtiest restaurant I've seen. Yea, they need to make repairs, but…read morerepairs aside it was just filthy. Dirt on the walls. Dirt on the tables. Floors that probably haven't been mopped in weeks, but the dirt might be holding down the floor boards. The worker behind the counter yelled across and told us to have a seat. There was NO ONE in the whole place. We didn't even sit down. We just took at look at the booths and left. If the front of house is that dirty what does the back look like. No thank you! I'm sure they'll be closed soon.

I've been searching for a good Indian restaurant around NWI, and we decided to drive out to Sauk…read moreVillage to give this one a try. This was actually our second time coming to the restaurant; on our first attempted visit, we'd actually arrived when they were still serving their American menu, which we were not interested in. It would be helpful if their website made their split hours abundantly clear to avoid any mishaps like this. We had the dining room to ourselves for the majority of our dinner. The bulk of their business seemed to be carry-out/third party delivery services. Their menus looked well-crafted, but they had been hand-modified to update their prices, which definitely impacted their aesthetic. I ordered the Paneer Butter Masala, and my husband had the Spinach Paneer Masala. Our dishes were both okay - not the best but not the worst Indian I've ever had. We both requested mild spiciness, but my husband's dish definitely had a much stronger kick to it. We shared an order of the Paneer Kulcha, which was the best part of our experience. Delicious and generously filled with paneer. The most curious part about our experience was that when our server brought out our entrees, he asked if we wanted rice. In every Indian dining experience I've had, rice always came standard with the entrée. He brought us out a dish of rice after we confirmed that we did want it. Unfortunately, this one dish of rice was not enough for both of our entrées when we took the leftover curries home with us. For dessert, we had the Ras Malai and Gulab Jamun. Both items were tasty, although I didn't find the description of the Ras Malai to be accurate as it didn't remind me of a cheese cake at all.
