We just happened to get tied up in traffic on 3/16/2013 and saw this establishment and decided to try it out. It is a small place with a casual atmosphere. Since it is a house that has been renovated the layout is quirky but that can all be interesting. It was not terribly busy and we were greeted immediately. We were impressed with the selection on the menu. We decided to have a combo appetizer and it was very good. The food was well cooked, looked nice and tasted good. We also ordered burgers and fries. They were very good. Kudos to the chef! all in all it was great food that is decent priced and we had good service. I would totally recommend the restaurant to others and I will be making a return visit myself. Thanks for the wonderful experience! Wish there was one of these in Smyrna. read more

Just moved to Murfreesboro in November, haven't explored much yet. Went on yelp looking for a good place for wings and a beer and I was not disappointed. Got a 10 piece lemon pepper w/ fries and two beers for $20 including tip. Place had a nice lively atmosphere. Bar only had 4 or 5 seats but they have plenty of tables, good place to go with a group. Next time I go I'll have to try the oysters. read more

This place has terrible customer service. Called in to order and someone put me on hold so long that I had to hang up. Had to call back and try again...another hold...and then finally someone spoke to me. I made my order and she was soooo quick to hang up. I get there and I literally just stood near the register with for 5mins before anyone greeted me as the employees just walked by me as I'm dodging them. After another five minutes goes by someone finally notices me and I pay and then get my food and leave. It's chaos in there. read more

I heard good things about Jefferson's so, on a Saturday afternoon, I tried them out. I decided to order their 12 boneless wings but I wanted to split them up (6 in one sauce and 6 in another). The server took my order only to come back and tell me that they "can't split up the wings". I looked at their menu again to see what the minimum order was for the boneless wings and, like I thought, it was 6. I asked the server if I could just have two orders of 6 and again I was told that this cannot be done. I conveyed my confusion to the server (who had just started working there) who only agreed with me and couldn't provide an explanation. I reluctantly decided to go ahead and try the 12 wings in one sauce, hoping that the food would be worth it. I tried the hottest wings they had, which was called "turbo". Long story short, the food was good. Not great, but not bad either. I'm not really sure what was going through the minds of Jefferson's but it was enough to make me not want to come back. I can get wings just as tasty with MUCH better service elsewhere. read more

I ordered a hot dog combo for lunch. Once I got back to work to eat my food i found some mold on my hot dog bun. I took the food back and asked for the manger. She told me that they do not offer refunds and the only thing that they could do was offer me another hot dog combo. Contacted the manger on facebook and reported it to cooperate. Service was great. Watched the ballgame and had a couple of beers and wings. Ordered Turbo their hottest sauce and there wasn't even a tingle. Definitely not a hot spot for wings. Cute house and great staff though. The dollar bills on the walls and ceilings add interest. read more

My friend and I use to eat here once a week. With the service getting worse every single time, we are no longer going back. Food is great, but the service is soooo bad unless you are a douchey frat guy. We came in and sat down. They acknowledged us, but they stood there talking for 5 minutes. Not angry customer who says 1 minute is 5 minutes, but a timed 5 minutes. Bianca was our server and she only came to our table 5 times the entire time we were there. the 4th time she stopped by I was surprised. 1st time she came by she got our drinks, the 2nd time she got our food order. The 3rd time she was dropping off our food and i'm glad I ordered another beer then because I would not have talked to her again for 20 minutes. 4th time she came by quickly to grab our empty dishes and not say a word. I was expecting her at some point to ask how were liking our food, but that was a no. I could have absolutely hated my food but she would never know because she didn't come to the table. The 5th and final time she came to the table was to say, "hope everything was good, are you on separate checks". Well I wanted dessert but I guess I'll spend my money else were for that. What was Bianca doing the entire time we were there? She was talking to a table of douchey frat guys flirting. My friend kept making the comment over and over I guess we have to be a frat guy to get any service here. At one point she even said I can get you guys some free beer. I looked at my friend and said did she just say.. and he said yes.. she is getting them all free beer. Even while we were waiting to order our food she was at that table. I was driving down East Main street in to register for class and I saw a sign for two dollar pints. I went and registered and went back for an Ice Cold Beer. 2 Dollars for a pint of ice cold New Castle. They had 11 other beers to choose from as well. I asked the server what they were known for and she said, " its in our name Burgers Wings and Oysters". So I decided to start with a dozen of their baked oysters which were fresh shucked and topped with butter, black pepper and Parmesan cheese. Wow cooked to perfection. For my meal I had 20 wings; 10 Double Dipped and 10 Hot. They came with ranch or bleu cheese for your dressing choice so I ordered both and for a little extra I got some onion rings too. I was talking too the server about getting hotter wings and she told they could make them as hot as I wanted them! Of course I was not about to call her bluff. All in all its not the largest place but has a Foosball table to entertain those who are interested and the food and beer were excellent. I will be back! read more
