First time at Jefferson's in Cartersville, GA. Quant place set in an older, historic building that comprise the square. Small seating areas upstairs and the cellar. We had a cellar table in about 5 minutes which was nice because it was quiet down below. Upstairs much livelier. Staff was friendly. Drinks and appetizer was quick to the table. Waters, soda and a draft beer were ordered; all drinks cold as they should be. Appetizer was hot and tasty. Entrees took a bit longer to arrive. Overall food was pretty good. I had double dipped wings and the homemade Mac n cheese. I'll admit I'm a Mac n cheese snob and this was pretty good stuff. I would get again anytime. The double dipped wings were different but very good. Never had a wing cook this way and I was impressed with the crunch and flavor. My wife had a side salad and traditional wings with Mango Habanero sauce on the side. We shared the wings so I tried these also and it was good. Their Mango Habanero is a sweeter sauce with a tiny underlying heat. If you're looking for an easy on the palette sauce this is great. If you want heat try a different sauce. My daughter had the Jefferson burger with tater tots. The burger comes the standard items plus bacon and bbq sauce. She said it was very flavorful. My son in law also had the double dip wings and liked them too Overall a great experience. Lost one star due to the extended wait time for our entrees but will return.

First time I've been there and I had the buffalo chicken double fried sandwich. It was absolutely amazing and the corn nugget bites are definitely something to get.

Came up to visit family in Cartersville. Cartersville is a nice historic downtown, and Jefferson's is a few steps away from the town square. The interior is like many sports bars, adorned with sports team memorabilia, tvs, high tops, low tops, a bar, and most uniquely the walls are adorned with signed dollar bills. The menu has much of what you'd expect at a sports bar: Burgers, wings, wraps, tacos, fried appetizers, and a assortment of draft and bottled beer, and mixed drinks. We were seated almost instantly and we had our drinks and order in in 5 minutes. Food was ready out in about 10-15 minutes. Kate took our order and she was friendly, personable, and friendly.great service, she checked on us and promptly met all of our needs. Food was pretty good, I had the boneless wings with fries. I split the flavors and got the mild heat and ranch wings. All in all, I had a good experience here. It's a nice little cozy sports bar. I'd come again.

Great food and service!!! The sauced mac and cheese was AMAZING! My son's patty melt hit the spot as did the chips and queso. McKenley provided outstanding and attentive service. We will be back!!

Nice little local spot that serves wings, burgers, and oysters. We stopped by in passing. We ordered mango habanero wings for our appetizer. They were okay. Not bad but they tasted like rub of the mill wings. Wings were served with tortilla chips but no salsa. (Were they just out of celery?) I ordered the grilled buffalo chicken wrap. I was happy with the flavor of the chicken and it was moist. Hubby said the jalapeño burger was ok. The jalapeños was fried so that added a different texture that he liked. My sweet potato fries were good and they came with some kind of cinnamon sauce that was freaking fantastic. We apparently switched waitresses during our meal but the second one was super nice and attentive. Nothing really awesome but nothing bad either.

Came here for wings and the hope of a good craft beer. Left disappointed on the wings and no real selection of beers.

Quality of food has really gone down and everything taste frozen now. It's just greasy and not desirable to me.

So we thought we would treat our son and his wife (new parents of a 2 month old) for a nice dinner out as a family (sans baby). Service was slower than normal, but that wasn't the real issue. Our entrees were delivered before our soup and salads. They offered to take our entrees away and "keep them warm" until after our soup and salads came out. So we agreed. Our son's French onion soup was delivered just luke warm - not even hot. The salads were fine, though. Our daughter-in-law's steak was ordered medium rare, but it came out rare so it had to be sent back. Our son's chicken fingers were also undercooked and had to be sent back, but only after our son had already eaten some of the undercooked chicken. I ordered the signature "Appalachian Grill" dish and the potatoes were burnt. At this point there were so many issues that we asked to talk to the manager and he offered to remove the signature dish from the bill. Our son and his wife were so turned off that they couldn't even eat their "corrected" entrees. The bill came and it was over $150. The only food that we actually ate was the Pickles and Pups appetizer and 3 salads. I asked for the servers and managers names and made it clear that I was going to write a review and that we would not be coming back. After we placed our credit card on the check, the owner came out to our table and began to cuss us out. When I told him I would be writing a reivew, his response was "I am the king of 1 star reviews" and asked us to leave. So we grabbed our credit card and proceeded to leave. After we left the restaurant he approached us at our car and proceeded to threaten us and even called me a "punk ass bitch." I should've called the police becasue we were already outside at our car and it looked like he was going to physically attack us. Our son and his wife were waiting for us outside and witnessed his tirade. Our daughter-in-law was terrified that the ower was going to get physically violent. There was no reason for him to follow us outside and continue to berate us at our vehicle as we were in the process of leaving. Either the owner was intoxicated or he needs to go to anger management. I regret not calling the police.

We let him know that our son has celiac disease and it turned out that Nathan also has celiac disease. Because of this he was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful in helping us navigate the menu and choose safe options for our son. Even better our son was able to connect with Nathan and swap stories about living gluten free which meant so much to us as parents. That personal connection truly made the experience special. The atmosphere is fantastic and feels like a true cellar tucked away in the basement giving it such a cool and unique vibe. It felt like a hidden gem and a really fun place to discover. I also had a gluten free apple cider that was made locally and it was hands down one of the best ciders I have ever had. Between the outstanding service the care shown for food allergies and the unique setting this was an unforgettable visit. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend The City Cellar and Loft to anyone especially families navigating celiac disease.

The restaurant itself is a cool little joint with tables and a bar at the window. The staff are all pleasant, efficient and professional. The pizzas are all 10" personal size pizza, but one could feed 2 frugal eaters. I ordered a sausage, olives and banana pepper pizza. It was pretty good but not much meat on it (see attached pics). The pizza is made fresh and the crust is good, but make sure you get the crust you want; mine came with some kind of cheese crust which is ok but probably better with different toppings. Overall I was happy with the service and atmosphere, and I will not say the food was bad, it just wasn't my style of pizza, I'm more of a New York style pizza guy (New Haven crust and topping to be precise) so I hope this review won't discourage people from going there. For the price, service and atmosphere this is a cool place to go to, and many other people including my family and friends absolutely love the pizza. (The iced tea is southern style and excellent!) Will return and definitely recommend.
