He got the Prime Rib. I got the New York Steak. Very delicious.

Me and my husband went there. Saturday night 2/28. He got the prime Rib n i got a smoky New Your Strip. They both wher cooked to the right temp. Just the way we wanted. We will be coming back more n more.

Shrimp bisque (good but light on shrimp or shrimp flavor). Very good Miracle mushroom soup with puff pastry in background.

After never having a bad experience over many years at Appalachian Grill, last night was a swing & a miss. To be fair, the food was actually mostly good and the ambiance is still nice, except for some odd smells from the kitchen at times. Anyway, it was a 30-min wait - not surprising given the popularity of the place, but we did notice some tables sitting empty for a while. Staffing maybe? Anyway, we were seated & "M" promptly arrived asking about drinks & specials. We said we'd need just a minute but would start with water. She disappeared for a solid 10-12 min. We almost left but she returned & took orders. I got shrimp bisque (good but no shrimp pieces noticed or really no real shrimp flavor). Wife got the miracle mushroom soup with a beautiful puff pastry on top & loved it. We split the Gouda bacon burger with fries. We'd have each ordered full entrees but to sub a different vegetable on the fish dinner was going to cost another $2, putting fried haddock at over $30. No thanks. Mercifully, the soups came quickly but burger took another 20 min. as we saw food delivered to new arrivals all around us. Burger was good but the plank fries were ugly (with a big brown spot on top) & nothing to write home about. "M" again disappeared for long stints, eventually refilling my tea but never showed back up with my to-go tea before we'd had enough waiting & left.

The service was excellent, it's a nice Lil quaint place. The food presented itself well, it was downright pretty and looked well seasoned but unfortunately, I found the food to be a little bland. Nothing had a taste other than the small fish bread that came with the salad and the mashed sweet potatoes. I gave it 3 stars because everyone was so friendly.

My husband and I went to the Telles Museum yesterday for my birthday and stopped at this restaurant for lunch first. I have to say if it wasn't 1 hour and 45 minutes from our house we would be regulars. The atmosphere is rustic, unique and warm. Our server was Kim and she was lovely. Attentive without being intrusive. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the pecan crusted trout and my husband had the scallops and shrimp pasta. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. The town looks awesome but we didn't have time to spend there. We will be back and will eat here again.

    Key Lime Pie.... Amazing.

Four of us came to the Appalachian Grill for lunch. It was a first time visit, and we came upon high recommendations from friends. All of our meals were absolutely delicious & prepared perfectly! I had the Grouper with a Crab Cake. Others had Catfish & 1 had the Appalachian Grill Special. For Dessert we had Key Lime Pie & Creme Brulee. Our amazing server was Ally. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. She took excellent care of us. We also got to meet the manager & the owner Jackie. It was great dining experience for all. Highly recommend the Appalachian Grill for lunch or dinner!

At her recommendation, my husband had the blackened salmon and asparagus. He normally doesn't use the word "delicious" but he said the salmon (and that bourbon dipping sauce) was delicious. I had the calamari and clam chowder. The calamari was VERY tender. Rhonda said there would be LOTS of clams in the chowder. Wrong, Rhonda! There was a TON of clams in it!! I highly recommend Main Street Coastal!

Some of the best food I've had in quite a while--and the price will knock your socks off compared to Atlanta. I started with the steamed mussels, and they were easily some of the best I've ever had. The sauce was incredible, and they serve it with garlic bread that's perfect for soaking it up. For my entrée, I had the Main Street trout, a nicely prepared filet that was very flavorful. The seasoned grilled vegetables on the side were outstanding and really brought the whole dish together. Another thing I like about Cartersville--free parking everywhere, which is a nice change from Atlanta. The downtown brick area is beautiful, and the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. They also offer a military discount, which I always appreciate. Honestly, a meal like this in Atlanta probably would've cost double what I paid. Shoutout to my server Savannah, one of the sweetest and most attentive people you'll meet. She made the experience even better. Easy five stars. I'll definitely be making the drive back again.

We let him know that our son has celiac disease and it turned out that Nathan also has celiac disease. Because of this he was incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful in helping us navigate the menu and choose safe options for our son. Even better our son was able to connect with Nathan and swap stories about living gluten free which meant so much to us as parents. That personal connection truly made the experience special. The atmosphere is fantastic and feels like a true cellar tucked away in the basement giving it such a cool and unique vibe. It felt like a hidden gem and a really fun place to discover. I also had a gluten free apple cider that was made locally and it was hands down one of the best ciders I have ever had. Between the outstanding service the care shown for food allergies and the unique setting this was an unforgettable visit. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend The City Cellar and Loft to anyone especially families navigating celiac disease.

I got the fish and chips and substituted fries for macaroni and cheese. The fish was very bland. The macaroni had potential. A lot of food came on his plate, but the wrap was just ok. Overall disappointed, this place seemed promising. It was about $80 after tip, definitely not worth that!! True rating: 2.7/5

We were a table of 8 dinners and had a fabulous meal and experience. We started with several appetizers that we shared- calamari, mussels, oysters, and spicy crab claws. All of them were outstanding with the mussels just inching out the calamari as my favorite. The sauce that the mussels were cooked in was on point- I haven't had mussels that outstanding since I was in France. We ordered a sundry of entrees amongst us and my crab cakes were very delicious. I did order the full entree and after the starters we had, I almost didn't finish the meal. Threes cheers to our server Ms Dorothy- she kept our beverages filled and the table tidy. Additionally, I need to point out that all of our entrees came out at the same time. That kitchen was humming. I will warn you- wear elastic waisted pants. You will need them!

I ordered the steak & chicken hibachi with double rice in the place of veggies. I asked for a lot of yum yum sauce and teriyaki sauce. Our waitress brought over a container of Yum Yum and three decent sized bowls of teriyaki sauce. It was perfect! My wife had sushi (she's particular about her sushi) and she said this was the best she's had in a long time. She said you could tell it was fresh. She was particularly impressed that the volcano roll actually looked like a volcano and had shredded crab and all on top of the actual sushi rolls. She must have enjoyed it, because walked up to the sushi bar and complimented the sushi chef. Kobe has two dining options, you can choose to do the hibachi style with the chef preparing your food in front of you or you can choose the "dine in" option. We chose to "dine in" and were seated on the right side of the restaurant. The hibachi tables are all on the left side. Kobe is a nice, clean place. You can tell they take pride in the restaurant. My wife enjoyed that each table has its own little lamp. Our waitress told us they are a small business, not part of some chain. They also order their fish and other stuff for the sushi bar every other day to ensure freshness. I will say this, he poured a mean pour, as my girlfriend was a bit tipsy after this one. The sushi is not the best I have ever had (Takashi in Salt Lake City probably still holds that title), but it was better than most I have had lately.
