I don't know if it's just been getting accustomed to the new kitchen or if there have been recipe/technique tweaks, but the pies have improved--from crusts to fillings. Crusts are flaky and crumbly when appropriate. Fillings are well balanced and flavorful. Much better looking slices as well. So glad to see this noticeable growth and improvement. Hope to be able to give five stars at some point in the future.

The staff were overextended since they were taking on both the bartender and server roles, so it was very difficult to catch their attention. We ended up having to approach them while they were in the middle of making a drink after trying to flag them down for 20 minutes and failing. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized.
