Granted, it's only been here for a year and a half, but that goes to show that you can't take anything for granted in this charming little town! Ours, although brief, was a wonderful experience. Initially hesitant to enter, as we had a full squad of kids with us, including two babies in a double-stroller, and two pre-teens, but we were welcomed in anyway, and assured that minors were allowed. My wife and I were introduced to the (extensive) menu of champagnes available, selected one that catered to our individual tastes, and were both impressed with our selections: a dry white, and a rosé (whose names I have shamefully forgotten, but I don't think you can go wrong with any choice here). The ambiance within is gorgeous; our server - phenomenal, knowledgeable and welcoming; and the view of the Christmas lights on Front Street is pretty darn good. This would be an excellent place to get away from the crowd during the Christmas Tree lighting event, watching from just across the street, warm and toasty (and a little toasted!), and without being crushed by the crowds. Our previous favorite hidey-hole for watching the festivities (The Loft) may have a competitor in future years, especially since we can't bring the kids up there! Seating is limited though (or it would be, during peak busy season), so get their early to snag a spot! Our Leavenworth trip happened to coincide with one of the worst storms (& flooding) that the region has seen in a long time, so the entire town was sparsely populated with tourists, meaning we were the only ones at the House of Champagne at the time. Probably a good thing for us, with so many kids in tow; I wouldn't want to haul all of them in when it was busy and annoy the other patrons, but seeing Leavenworth that empty, two weeks before Christmas, can't be good for the local economy. As things bounce back, keep that in mind, and be sure to look out for stellar local places like this which, as I said before, can be easy to miss, even for us regulars. House of Champagne is exactly the kind of place you want to see thrive in a town like Leavenworth, so take my advice: don't miss it!

We left and took our business elsewhere. Based on how we were treated, I would not recommend this establishment, particularly to anyone who relies on a service animal. Management should make sure its staff understands the rules regarding service animals and treats customers with disabilities respectfully.

They used to serve great burgers, but don't have a single burger on their menu anymore. It's clearly under new ownership. They don't do table service anymore. Their menu is mostly pasta and pizza, with a few dive bar quality appetizers at bougie restaurant prices. Not finding any entrees that looked good (one of us is gluten free and the other is low carb, so pizza and pasta are non starters), we ordered the crispy meatball and smoked cheese stick appetizers and a couple of cocktails. The food showed up long before the cocktails, and while the appetizers were tasty, they were more dive bar quality than mid-level foodie restaurant quality. Marinara sauce from the jar all the way. The cocktails arrived after we were mostly done eating. The bartender came over with our two drinks. Bartender: "Who had the Manhattan?" Me: "That was me" Bartender: Slams both drinks on the table. "Figure it out yourselves". Bartender: Goes back to flirting with the only person sitting at the bar. Me, to myself: I love restaurants that make you tip before you realize the service sucks.
