It is completely unacceptable to watch a customer actively pay and then immediately treat them like a shoplifter. I finished paying for my things, told him the conversation was over, and walked out. A second security guard was much more polite and wished us a good day, which we appreciated, but the damage was done. ​If receipt-checking is strict store policy, it needs to be clearly posted at the entrance, registers, and exit. More importantly, security needs better training on customer service. Frowning, staring, and treating paying customers with suspicion is entirely uncalled for. It's all about how you treat people, and we will not be shopping here again.
