I tried to download a new app on Friday (10/9) and got myself in quite the mess! Brian first walked me through some basic data gathering. Then he suggested I go into the Tech 2U near Arden Arcade (Howe Ave). Sean took the phone and said about 2 days for diagnosis. This place almost always has repairs done in one day, many times in just a few hours, and at least once while I waited. Wow!! Always a reasonable price, and not once has a repair failed. Yet AFTER I dropped my PC off the owner tried to claim I owed $60 after he gave me a receipt that said total $0. No shame. He even told me over yelp "bring it in for free diagnostics". Not only that, he broke my PC case because he couldn't figure out he had to press a latch to open it and probably just ripped it out and tried to hide it with screws and didn't tell me. And now it doesn't stay closed anymore. And also he took out my GPU and didn't bother screwing it back in place when he was done, just left it dangling in there. Stay away from these clowns.

I wasn't going to buy it if it was non-returnable like the paperwork said . I needed it for the following day because it was a last minute gift . Edwin took the time to research, come up with a solution, and made my life a lot easier by getting this worked out instead of just telling me, no there's nothing I can do (like some would) He gave me his card and wrote a note, so that if I had any future problems with this return, he would personally handle it. That is the whole reason we asked for assistance in the first place. I was very disappointed with how we were treated. I was told to leave my phone at the store for approximately two hours so the technicians could inspect and repair the issue. After returning to pick up my phone, I discovered that the camera is still experiencing the exact same problems. I then contacted Apple Support, and the representative reviewed my repair history and confirmed that no repair or corrective action appears to have been completed during my visit. This leaves me asking: What was my phone doing at the Apple Store for two hours if nothing was actually done to address the issue? I feel like I was misled about the service that was performed. Needed Fax service [Roseville CA]…read more I needed to use a fax service and I don't have access to a fax machine from my work since I am currently on leave of absence and I didn't own one at home. I called around our local postal stores and home office supply stores. Office Depot seemed to be the most reasonably priced. I had 3 pages to fax and an employee helped me through the process. He was very nice and patient. Rate was reasonable. First page was free and $2 thereafter. Other employees in the store I came in contact with were also nice and greeted me. The Fax machines were in the same area as the TSA Precheck enrollment/renewal service. Overall satisfied with the experience. It's very rare I visit an office supply store. I had incorrectly configured my Xfinity gateway and a network switch along with two existing eero WAP units. My misconfigured system was causing internet conflicts, weak speeds, and dropping my signals. Theodore came out the next day and quickly and efficiently did some troubleshooting. Mostly they pushed me to buy a new computer. Took the computer to Jason at Patriot Computer Solutions and he just said "give me a day, $90 for the service and a new charger if I can do it, free if I can't fix it".
