I followed Kim and his crew from World Nails in the Stoneridge Mall. This recently opened spa is comfortable with plenty of room for customers. The team here is clean and does and excellent job. Loved the Salt Scrub pedicure, and the smoothest gel nails I've seen. While the surroundings are wonderful and relaxing, but I finally had to leave. I found that the manicurists were awfully rough and didn't seem to pay attention to where my nail ended and my skin started. Left with more than a few scrapes and sore fingers. read more

I give this place 5 Stars. Helen is super fast and the best at what this art. The place is clean and everyone does a great job.

I've been to so many nail salons, and I can tell you that JC Nails Spa is the best! I am very particular when it comes to nail salons and cleanliness. I always hear about horror stories, such as people getting fungal infections from merely getting manicures and pedicures. You don't have to worry about that at JC Nails Spa. This place is brand new and super clean! Plus, the service is great and they really know what they're doing. They've been in the business a really long time. (If you go to World Nails at Stoneridge, and you're wondering where Van went -- guess who owns this place!?!) This nail salon is really modern with a cool nail bar and flat screen tvs. The massage chairs are new and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place. read more

$30 for french gel nails. Professional. Dig the bar area where you can watch TV and get your nails done. Best part was this place did not reek like other nail salons. I know a miracle... read more

JC Nails have the kindest, sweetest staff. I used to take my mother there every three weeks. She had advanced dementia and difficulty moving her hands. Everyone who worked there was so empathetic and patient with her. They didn't mind that I took up an extra seat so I could be there to help and comfort my mom. Getting a manicure was about the only outside activity my mom could enjoy and it was a wonderful way for us to spend time doing something that felt like normal life. Every time we visited, her nails looked fabulous and that made her feel so happy. It's a real gem of a salon with the most wonderful people working there. read more

LOOOOVVVVEEEE!!! You get your nails done at an adorably chic bar. Why didn't I think of this?! Employees are so gracious and kind, salon is impeccably clean and very upscale - will never go anywhere else. My nails turned out BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely love this little gem. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Had the worst pedicure EVER here. My request to have the water be warmer didn't go through- or the lady heard me, but decided to ignore me because it was still lukewarm. She kept digging into my skin, which was painful, and continued to do so after messing up on several toes. One of her co-workers had to come re-do a few toes because they were messed up. I would never come back here and don't recommend others to do so either. read more

I should mention, the owner did contact me post my review to offer makeup services but I politely declined. My experience was so awful I can't go back unless it's out of pure need. read more

My toes look great, and my fingers have a nice square filing finish. However, they were pushy with their services. I was asked what I wanted for my pedi, and I said the classic. Three times I was asked about getting the sea salt scrub instead (more expensive). It was annoying, to say the least. Big TVs keep you entertained while they're working. Plus, plenty of chairs and women working so there's no wait/short wait. I'd give it another go - $37 for a mani/pedi was worth it. read more

This place is not only awesome but CLEAN. The service was friendly. The pedicure was amazing and it was clean. Need I say more?!?! read more

I'm not a big fan. After treating myself to my first Starbucks in a while, and then realizing I had some rare free time too, I decided to walk over to this salon and treat myself to not only a pedicure but a manicure too. I'm wishing I would have gone elsewhere... The manicure was rushed and the massage was lacking, to put it mildly. My pedicure was fine, but again every part of it was rushed, including the hot stone massage I paid extra for (also, no part of the massage is on your feet, only your legs.) They take cash only, which is super lame and not advertised anywhere. They only tell you once you go to pay. It seemed especially shady considering they have an ATM pin pad right at the register. Tons of people were working, but just hanging around looking angry. I will say the salon is quite clean and decorated nicely, but that's not enough to return. Their prices are steep for the quality of the services offered and I won't be returning again. Boo! read more

I had been to this salon a few times before and they do an "okay" job. Nothing special and nothing big to complain about, but the last time I went will be my last. I called to make an appointment for my friend and I to get dip manicures together. As we arrived the ladies working there proceeded to not let my friend and I sit next to each other. I asked if we could be placed next to each other since that was the whole reason I made an appointment for two people. The workers then gave me attitude for no reason when I had asked politely. I then pointed to the two open chairs next to each other. They continued to give me annoyed looks and finally said that we could sit by each other. Things went okay for a little bit, but then the lady doing my friends nails cut them so short that she said they hurt! The lady doing my nails did not want to listen to me at all! I told her I wanted white dip color and she proceeded to say no and she pulled out other colors for me to choose from. I told her no and continued to say I wanted white. She pulled out the white dip powder and did not speak with me the rest of the time. Didn't ask how I wanted the shape, length, etc. and at this point I was over it. Because of their poor customer service I will not be returning or recommending them again. read more

Walked in around 10am since I was next store picking up a Starbucks, and was seated at the nail bar right away by Joseph. He did a great job on my gel fill and was very patient with me while I figured out what colors I wanted. I'll be back before my Sidney trip since it looks like they will do any design well! This is pretty plain set of nails for me but I'm very happy with the shape and fill. $32 fill. Clean shop. I'm happy read more

I recently had to stay in Pleasanton for 7 weeks for work and I must admit Helen is by far one of the best manicurist I've had. She makes sure every nail is the exact length and shape. I came in one time and she wasn't there so I tried another nail tech. Although the last did a decent job, they were nothing compared to Helen. I gave the place 4 stars because I don't like that they don't have a price list available. During my stay in Pleasanton I went in 3 different times for the exact same manicure and was quoted 3 different prices at time of paying ($29,$34,$30). It's not ok for me to not know what I'm paying until the very end. read more

Not happy at all with this place. First off when I got there they pushed and pushed for me to get gel. I dont want gel. Thanks though. I started with one guy and then he just left with no explanation and didn't come back. Then another guy came over after waiting for like 10 minutes. He started working on my nails and then made me move to another station. He burned me with the drill about a dozen times. I was quite annoyed. But kept a smile on my face. When he finally asked what color I wanted, I knew it would be difficult for me to explain what I wanted. So I asked if I could just go to the wall and get it. He said, oh you want gel. I said no. And the lady that worked there who was at the wall of color said these are not gel. I felt pressured to get gel. Which I did not fall for. When I explained how I wanted them painted he totally botched it. And I had to ask him to start over on one of the nails. It was totally doable, but he didnt want to do it. All he cared about was doing a design for an extra $3. Which I did do. But it came out TERRIBLE!!! The heart looks like a 4 year old drew it. When we were done i was going to grab my purse and phone to go dry. He asked me not to so i left my purse, assuming he would bring it to me like most places do. Nope. He left my purse over there the for 15 minutes while I had to figure out the drying table alone. No one came to help me. I had no idea where the on button was. And, I am NOT happy with my nails at allllll!!! And dont even want to go back to get it fixed. I gave them 1 stars and not 0 because well, you cant and the shop was clean and kinda cool looking. Dont be fooled by the pictures of pretty nails on here. This place is terrible! read more

I went during my lunch break to go get my nails done. Saw good reviews on this place so I thought I would give it a try. I was very pleased. JC Nails Spa - Fake nails! - Nail Salons Near Me - Pleasanton, California

JC Nails is where it's at. Comparable pricing for their services, but you get so much more. I love how clean and consistent they are with their products and services. I call ahead and they're always ready for me when I arrive. They have an amazing selection of colors, especially shellac colors, and they do some AMAZING designs--show them a photo and they will make it happen on your nails! The pedicure tubs they have are super comfortable and always sanitary. I love the bar-style set up for the manicures--it's much easier to socialize with your friends this way than being stuck at a desk with your backs to each other. I go to JC Nails once a month and on the rare occasion I go elsewhere, I'm never nearly as satisfied or impressed as I am after going to JC Nails. read more

JC Nails Spa - The color of love - Nail Salons Near Me - Pleasanton, California

JC Nails has such a convenient location, so I went in few times to get my mani and pedi done here. They are always busy but have many chairs and employees working, so the wait time is not that bad. Employees are not that friendly and accommodating , they ignore their customers' requests easy. You don't get any attention as you would normally get in a salon, but fine with me. The quality of work is just average. I never felt amazed by their work , and usually, the color and my finger nails chip in two days. Their prices are not low but not to complain about either. Again, the location is very convenient, and I will probably go in again . read more

Worse manicure. Whatever the clinician used to clean off my old my polish stung like crazy. Plus she cut my cuticles too deep, it hurt. I kept Flinching. I've had my cuticles trimmed many times before and it's never hurt like this! In addition the clinician kept yanking on my hand telling me I'm not holding it in the proper angle for her.... to top it all off, The next day, 5 of my nails, the polish have come off/chipped! Worse manicure ever. Def never coming back here read more

I've been back plenty of times since. I believe my shellac lifted because I was in the ocean too much when I went to Hawaii. My nail beds got really soft. I've gotten shellac many times after and they've lasted probably 2 weeks. read more

I'm sorry to change my review on JC Nails, but after my original review of 5 stars, I started having some problems with this Salon. I've brought at least 2-3 new clients here and a couple of us have experienced the same sorts of things. So I know it's not just me. 1) my Gel Manicure, doesn't last two weeks here. I don't know why. However, my new gel manicure from my new favorite Salon is going on its third week and STILL looks fresh. 2) several times I've had a young technician who doesn't do a true salon manicure massage. Threes swipes up and down your arm isn't a massage. I've even told the Mgnt. that I would prefer a different technician and why, but I was still assigned to her. 3) if you bring up something to the Salon Manager, she is very begrudging about her decision. It just feels uncomfortable, you know? And I'm the customer, I should be made to feel comfortable. Anyway the nice thing is, I've found my new favorite salon in Pleasanton and I'm happy! read more

The salon is nice and clean the service is a rip off though. I'm pretty sure you can go to another place and get better service. I choose to get a pedicure which they have 3 options I chose the one that cost $24 by the time I was done the total come out to $39. I never got the foot massage or the warm towel. The leg massage is basically the lady putting lotion on my leg. So apparently they charge $24 for the pedicure which does not include the color. 15$ additional if u want gel. She also left the color on my left toe nail full and not shiny like the rest didn't notice this until I had left the place. read more

This is my new favorite place! Close to my home! They are very friendly and great service! I got a pedicure and they put fresh lemons in the water and they scrub your feet with lemons too! I love Jc nails! Lynne is the best! She takes her time and gives you an amazing massage! If I can't get in with Lynne I will see Trish or Ann, but all are good. The pedicures are great and they give you different options to choose from to make your experience better. The pricing is great also, shellac manicure is $25 and it really does last. Only problem is sometimes when you book an appointment they still make you wait or run behind, but they still get you in. Recommend this nail place to everyone. TIP: be sure to tip in cash! read more

The place is really nice and looks very clean. I love the setup and I love how nice everything is and looks. I showed her a picture of what I wanted she said okay I can do that. She asked me about the shape because I came in for a fill I said leave them like this. So when they were done they were okay she just didn't paint the whole nail. Also it didn't look like the picture. The matte was matte though I will say that, not a lot of places have it and say they do. So overall it was okay. read more

Fabulous job on our nails! My daughter and I walked in and didn't have to wait long for service. My daughter wanted a new/full set of acrylics. JC Nails Spa - Gear job!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Pleasanton, California

I've been coming to this salon for 2 years now. There was an ownership change about a year ago and things did change a bit, but for the most part new extras showed up, like the lemons in your pedicure and the waters. I travel extensively for work and I've made the mistake and had some poor planning decisions when it comes to my nails. The shellac is so great here, that I can go weeks without any chipping... But every other place I've gone (across the country has been inferior). I won't make the mistake of not planning again. I have to say, I'm shocked at some of the comments that I've read. The women here are very sweet and have great sense of humors. I would recommend giving this place another shot. read more
