We both got the C1 dessert, and I also got an order of the pandan durian layer cake and an order of the taro cake. The pandan durian layer cake wasn't overwhelmingly pungent with durian, it almost felt like they just brushed the cake with some durian if that makes any sense. The taro cake was delicious! I think they may have warmed it up a little and I enjoyed the bits of taro in it. We came in a Saturday afternoon and was able to park in the lot as well as walk right up to the register. I think 5-10 mins later there was a line almost to the door and all the tables were taken up. My grandma has already decided that we're coming back hahah so I guess I'll have an excuse to try something else other than the C1 dessert!

I came around 4pm and the place was not busy. Service was great, they are nice and helpful. What they have are typical Vietnamese desserts that I found common in any Vietnamese place. I didn't find anything special that caught my eye about this place. However you can't go wrong, it's still good but just ordinary for me. Also, I feel their portion is small. Overall, nothing special, a little bit over rated.

I'm going to miss this place as it is officially closing. Yes, they do take long to get orders our…read moreduring meets and events but that's pretty understandable considering the sheer volume of orders they'd have to accommodate. The location itself is super small and at times cramped depending on how crowded the events were. I did enjoy the tofu pudding here, but I do admit that their drinks could have been better. Did I ever go out of my way to get the drinks here? No. But did I come out here because they helped and played such a vital role in building a community? Hell yes. Thank you so much for the memories

I was hoping to have my own AE86 built and ready when I finally stopped by, but maybe for the new location. As an honest critique of the actual storefront, the appearance and decor is very charming. In a very bright, Japanese themed cafe kind of way. But because this is an Initial D themed drink and snack spot, I can see this being a place where mostly guys use this place as a meet-up hub. Especially for a small car meet. Very niche right? Especially for the dying breed of 1980's 1990's - 2000's JDM cars. That said, how many guys in the city could you actually get to come here regularly for soy and soy-based accessories, drinks, and snacks? The dessert was okay, and I wasn't in love with the drinks. Light, tofu refreshing, but not captivating. Personally, the menu doesn't appeal to me, since I try to avoid soy since it tends to be a pro-estrogen consumable. I don't think they had to box themselves in into being a purely tofu-only cafe. They could sell tofu products, and also have something simple but repeatedly addictive; like In-n-Out, Wurstkuche, Howling Ray's, Tea Master Matcha Cafe, Savoy, Langer's, etc. The closest idea I can think of that would be forced into tofu would be like really excellent, authentic mabo tofu, agedashi tofu, or like a karaage or Tokyo fried chicken style fried chicken with a mabo tofu dipping sauce, heavy on the ma-la flavors. Hell, I might even stop by more if they imported more car parts, from like Impulse, TRD, or Apex'i. But the way the AE86 market is, it makes more sense to sell online to the global niche. Wonderful atmosphere and mood for the Initial D/MF Ghost/Subaru to Subaru fandom. It was fun just to follow on instagram and catch a glimpse of all the influencer personalities in the car community stopping by. I'll look forward to what their next Project T(ofu) looks like. See you next time, Space (cow) boy. Oh-oh-oh. I need you babe.

Finally tried this place after passing by so many times…read more My friend and I shared the 2 pc kinako with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Total came out to be $6.35 including tax. It was a lot smaller than we expected, but we didn't take a good look at the pictures. I would NOT recommend sharing unless you really don't eat much. The mochi was good, but my friend was obsessed with the ice cream! I took a star off because the plastic spoon and flimsy container made it very difficult to eat. Taste wise it was good though. Service was quick, nothing to note about that. Ambiance...it's a small kiosk in a mall so very casual spot. I would definitely stop by if I visit the mall again but it's not somewhere I would go too out of my way to go to. Definitely a good place for dessert since it closed at I believe 9 pm!

I was excited to see how special it can taste to charge this price. Sadly, I am very disappointed. I only can taste a very sweet lemonade flavor and even after I mixed in the matcha cloud I can barely taste any matcha flavor. And I am not sure where the yuzu flavor is at all. I only can taste a very traditional lemonade flavor. Honestly I think this drink super overpriced for just a regular lemonade drink. I would give this drink a 1 star but I do like their warabimochi so I would leave it at 3 stars.

Their bingsu and toppings all blended so well together it felt like I was eating a Chinese/Korean açaí bowl. It felt like a very light dessert and I could keep eating more of it. Some bingsu's are a bit more decadent. This place was just right. The bingsu was light and the texture was perfect. It wasn't too icy like some other places. Service was excellent! The cashier was kind and patient. We received our order quickly. There is plenty of seating inside the store. Bingsu Bingsu is located on the promenade side of the Arcadia Westfield mall. Lots of mango pieces covered with passionfruit jelly (dripped with mango and passionfruit puree). You also get a scoop of ice cream (flavor of your choice) ) on top of your bingsu, and I chose vanilla. Very refreshing on a hot day! There are a handful of seating inside, so can be pretty crowded when busy. Good value as the large portion size is plenty to share for two. Parking wise, can be a pain in the you-know-what at this mall, especially on a weekend or during a holiday.
