Our driver Darren met us at baggage claim and helped us get our luggage and took us to the car which was parked very close by in a special area. Even though our flight took a long time to taxi and deplane, Darren was very professional and kind when we finally showed up. After a long travel day, it was a treat to be taken to our hotel near Port Canaveral this way. The next week, after our cruise was over, Darren picked us up at the port and took us back to the airport. We arranged for 10am pick up but when I texted Darren at 9:45am saying that we were off the ship, he responded that he was already in the area and was able to pick us up then. We just returned from Orlando today and have to say I do regret not contacting Clint/Mariah. Initially our plan was to arrange transportation and request for Erick but since we decided to fly with an airline we have not flown before and not knowing what to expect (delays, etc.), I decided to wing it and just call Uber when we landed. Nothing wrong with Uber as the service was quick but my 3 kids definitely preferred Erick. I don't know how many times they kept asking me where was Erick and if Erick was going to pick us up again. Every time a blk SUV pulled up to the curb they got excited and asked if it was Erick haha even for our outbound flight today, they asked me if I can call Erick. I should of but didn't since we were at Universal and only 15 min from the airport. But yes, I did regret not contacting Clint/Mariah to request for transportation during our quick wknd in Orlando.
