Horrible. Driver forgot our confirmation, and wasn't at the airport when we arrived. Thankfully, the driver was at our resort for departure. However, instead of picking us up in the Lincoln Towncar as promised during confirmation, we were picked up in an old van. Since the AC wasn't turned on and the windows were not open, the van was unbearably hot when we got in. One seatbelt didn't work, and the fabric of the ceiling was falling down. When my 4-year was about to close the van door, the driver literally shoved him away from her van and into a lane at airport departure area. Nightmare. Wish i scheduled an Uber instead. read more

I reserved Florida Towncar Service (FTS) roundtrip from Thursday, August 15, to Monday, August 19, at Orlando, Florida, International Airport. FTS wanted its tip upfront before any service was performed. I should have cancelled right then and there, but FTS was the only airport car service that answered the phone right away. The 4 others had recordings on which, of course, I had to leave a call back number. I did not pay for a tip for service not yet performed. This is not how it is done and should not have been requested. The family vacation leader (Mrs. Marshall) said, along with her other passengers: the driver did not help with the loading/unloading of the bags; he drove much too fast; was aggressive in his driving by dangerously cutting too close in front of other cars when changing lanes so as to cause a great number of drivers to blow their car horns at him. This was the same on the return trip to the airport on August 19. His driving really frightened my family. When I pulled up at the resort house, he was aggressively badgering Mrs. Marshall about his tip. Since I set up the service and paid for it, I pulled him aside. Mrs. Marshall said, "he is a terrible driver and I am dissatisfied with his service. I do not want to tip him." He complained that he didn't realize he had to take us so far from the airport (40 minute drive). As someone who owned a car service, "shouldn't he have completed a mapquest" to find the distance and time?? Anyway, I had him charge $30.00 on my credit card. Mrs. Marshall refused to tip him at the airport on their return. She said, they got their own luggage again and totally ignored him by walking into the airport to get away from him. I will never, ever use this car service again, even if they are the last car service on earth. I will get where I'm going by skates, skateboard, bike, scooter, horse, camel, whatever!! read more

Still a happy customer after a decade! Florida Towncar has been the only service we have used in the years we have vacationed in Orlando. We've had no reason to look elsewhere! Drivers have always been on time and reliable. The one time our driver was late picking up from the airport, he called us to let us know he was on his way, and he still beat our luggage arriving anyway. These guys are as professional as it gets. What a great experience. I called and JC picked up the phone. I told him that I needed transport from Orlando Airport to a hotel, and pickup the next day to go to Port Canaveral. I then needed to get picked up at the Port a week later and brought back to the hotel and to the airport the next day.....it's not as complicated as it seems. No problem whatsoever. JC quoted me an amazing and fair price for a black SUV and assured me not to worry that the driver would be waiting for me. I had planned to call them the day before to confirm everything would go down as planned and I didn't get the chance to because JC called me 2 days before to confirm everything was setup. When I arrived with me 2 kids in tow Michael was waiting for us in baggage claim and helped us with our bags. Michael was extremely professional and personable and was a joy to ride with on all trips. Pretty straightforward; driver (Tony) was waiting for us in baggage claim with our name on a sign. It was a 2 minute walk to the car and then a casual, fun ride to our hotel in Disney. When I booked the pick up a few months ago, I mentioned we'd be celebrating our honeymoon in Disney. As such, they threw in a free grocery stop at one of the Publix that is on the way to Disney. You need to pay for the roundtrip ride - in cash - when you are dropped off. This worked out well, as it was one less thing I had to worry about on our day of departure. Last night I attempted to make a reservation with Florida Towncar Service off of my iPad. I had some technical difficulties because my information did not go through and the date was incorrect on my reservation. Instead of sending me an email asking to confirm my detail, this morning I received a rude email from the company stating that my reservation was D.O.A. and that my email "defies all common sense". For our honeymoon, I didn't want my wife and I to be stuck in the back of a random cab, so I did some research and decided to go with J.C. and Florida Towncar. The car had a tiny bit of wear, but was very clean and J.C. was fantastic. He knew what questions to ask in advance and was very patient and polite as I figured out the answers for him. Upon arrival, he knew exactly where we would be in the airport and exactly where we needed to go - also helping with our bags without any request. He was prompt and courteous at all stops throughout the week, talkative when we wanted to chat and left us to ourselves when we needed time to talk alone. After calling several services I know his rates are very competitive as well. I would absolutely recommend Florida Towncar to anyone. The only thing that had me momentarily hesitant to give a full 5 star review was the slight wear on the car, but again it was very well maintained and very clean. I have only great things to say about this service. Even though our flight arrived late, Carlos was waiting in baggage claim with our name on a sign. It was an easy walk to the car and a pleasant drive to our hotel. When it was necessary for us to leave a bit earlier than scheduled, all was handled in a courteous way and Carlos was there even a bit earlier. The driver arrived early at the airport and was already waiting for me and my party. To confirm arrival the driver called early to inform us where he would be at. It was very easy, met the driver at the luggage carousel where he helped us with our bags. The ride was and quick. It turns out our driver J.C was the owner. Very Friendly and informative. You pay the driver in cash as soon as you arrive at your destination. Pick up time was also confirmed before being dropped off. Pick up day was easy again, a call was made 20-30 minutes before our schedule pickup time. Overall I've been extremely happy with the service, and will definitely use them again. We have used J.C. and his Town Car service for several years now and have never once been disappointed with the service. J.C. is the owner and somewhat of a throwback. He still keeps his reservations in a large book in his car, he writes everything down methodically and has yet to make a mistake with any of my reservations. This trip was no different than any of the trips before. J.C. called me as my plan was pulling into the gate. He told me where my bags were being sent to and that he would meet me there. As we came down the escalators there stood J.C. in his customary white shirt and dark pants holding my name sign. He escorted to us to baggage claim and assisted with retrieving our bags. He waited patiently for us during a long checkin process at our hotel, then drove us to the building where we were actually staying so we didn't have to haul our luggage from the checkin spot to it. We decided to take a family vacation to Orlando and needed a round trip ride from airport to the hotel. We didnt need a rental car since our hotel offered free shuttle to and from the amusement parks. After looking at other car and shuttle services we decided to go with Florida Towncar Service after reading the other reviews. As the majority of the other reviews have stated, the only way we would have been more satisfied is if it was free. The whole process was nothing but professional from the time the phone was answered until pickup at the airport. There were 4 of us including 1 car seat. Tony met us at the baggage claim and helped us with all our bags. We did not pay until we were at the hotel and we pre paid for our return to the airport. There were no hidden fees or taxes or gotchas as far as price was concerned. We paid the price I was quoted on the phone and all tolls were included in that price. One thing of note, this is a cash only service. Not that big of a deal since we just made sure we had cash on hand to pay when we arrived at our hotel. The lincoln town car was clean and had plenty of room for the luggage of a family of 4. Tony was on time for both pick ups and all scheduling was a breeze. Final verdict being if/when we go back to visit the big mouse in Buena Vista we'll definitely be using Florida Towncar rather than any other shuttle. As a side note, and this is coming from a former valet, take care of the driver if he/she takes care of you. I know this will sound like a commercial but not only are these guys providing a first rate service at cut rate prices, they get you to your destination in style and comfort. After flying cross country in the cattle car known as southwest it was refreshing to be able to ride in comfort with just my family. Just got off the phone with this RUDE form of a business. told them i had 7 people in my party - $85 for a VAN and $55 for 2 town cars because 2 people in our party were leaving the day before. This guy would not allow me to talk and was very rude. We started our trip with a surprise...our planned driver had a flat, and Florida Town Car had arranged for another company to pick us up. The driver, John, was from Prime Transportation, and arrived in a shuttle van. We were happy that the company made arrangements for us rather than leave us stranded. John was friendly and professional. He said we should have our town car service on the return trip. He said the two companies do this occasionally when there's a problem. The return trip was not nearly as pleasant. Our driver called me on the afternoon of our departure and suggested traffic was bad and that we should leave earlier than planned. OK, I thought, no problem, we would do our best to be ready earlier. She called again when she arrived, letting us know again that traffic was bad and we should leave early. We went out to find the same white van from Prime Transportation. The driver was clearly impatient, said not a word to us on the trip back except to confirm airline or complain about traffic. The trip back took the normal amount of time...no traffic delay whatsoever. So...kudos to Florida Town Car for getting Prime to pick us up. Based on that alone I'd recommend the service. But they might reconsider Prime as their partner, as the experience with Prime was less than satisfactory. read more

My family of 4 needed transportation from the airport to a hotel on International Dr then back to the airport later in the week at 6:30a. I called 1 day prior to us landing in Orlando. I spoke with JC who was very professional and assured me it was not to late to hire his service. Tony our driver was very pleasant, a safe driver, and prompt. Round trip was in a very nice, clean Lincoln Town car. I was impressed from beginning to end. The price was affordable, $85 round trip. I would absolutely without question use Florida Towncar again. He was there waiting patiently even though our flight was quite late, over an hour, and it was after 11pm. He was very friendly, handled our luggage for us, and got us to our resort safe and happy. Our AAA agent recommended Florida Towncar Service when we booked our Disney trip. When our plane landed I turned on my cell and within 5 minutes J.C. (the owner) called me and said he would be by the baggage claim with our name on a sign, and he was. He helped us get the luggage into the car and we were off. While we drove to the Art of Animation Resort he answered all our questions and even gave us a little history of Orlando and Disney. My wife and I have two kids (1 & 5) and they provided two car seats for them as well. When we pulled onto the Disney property he turned on a CD that had Disney music on it and officially welcomed us to our Disney vacation. That really made our little girl happy! I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYBODY!! I was told when I booked the reservation that our driver would meet us in baggage claim at the airport. When asked about the time our flight would arrive, I told him 9:30pm. He said it didn't really matter because they would track our flight and even if we were there early, someone would be there to meet us. He said they rented car seats, if needed, and even said he would throw them in free. We arrived at the airport about 10 minutes early. We waited until about 9:40, still no driver. I called the number I had and he said he was on his way and commented about us arriving early. Yes, we were early when we got there, but at this point HE was 10 minutes late! When he finally showed up it was 10:05pm!! He came in and helped us get our luggage to the car and talked to my boys, ages 1 and 4, and proceeded to open the car door to let us in. When he opened the back door we immediately noticed there were NO car seats!! My husband asked where they were and this driver acted like he had no clue what we were talking about. I told him when I booked this, we were told we'd have 2 car seats. He acted like he never knew a thing about it and when we asked if they have car seats, his response was that most people bring them with them!! I told him again we were told they would be there when we were picked up...he still acted clueless!! The entire walk across the parking lot I don't know what he thought he was going to do with my children in that car! He acted totally floored when we refused to get into the car without a car seat! HELLO!!!! So there we were at 10:30PM still stuck at the airport, with no transportation on what was supposed to be an amazing vacation! Thank God for Enterprise is all I can say! Of course it cost us more to rent a car for the entire week but at least we had car seats and reliable transportation! I will NEVER EVER recommend Florida Towncar to ANYBODY!
