Bar section: 1-star Bartender guy appeared to be bored working serving drinks...not attentive at all, cocktails taste aweful Bunch of drunk folks sitting @ the bar It's rather a mixed crowd in be-tween Alhambra & Pasadena... It's a Hole-n-wall bar as I've never paying attention in the past... Food: 4.5-star Wow! I was sooo impressed w/my orders! Portion was HUGE & flavorful: Tacos & Chicken Sandwich are both tasty! The young girl who's taking my food order was friendly w/limited English speaking to communicate, but she managed well enough to place my orders! I can see their tiny little kitchen off the corner, a guy is grilling delish food on sizzling stove! Its amazing! I came here the very 1st time for their once-a-month jam night, indeed it's not gonna be my last. For food n music! Thanks to Charlene's invite who introducing me this local gem!

I love everything about Jay Dee cafe. Super friendly regulars, great food, fun darts and pool, cool jukebox and live entertainment frequently.

Best hidden cafe / restaurant in LA. Try the steak sandwich. You'll never go anywhere else Love to come here for lunch. Everyone who's ever come in always comes back. The bar is also amazing, Amy, Terry, Lily and Frank are the best

Strong drinks, smooth music, and a vibe you can't fake.

This small hole in the wall bar is totally awesome. The jukebox is always playing my favorite music and the food is reasonable and very good..

Great afternoon dive bar to watch the 2024 Paris Olympics, strong drinks, reasonable prices, good food, great air conditioning.

Steak Sandwich, Bud Light, pure deliciousness.

Best dive bar around. Period. The food is tops. This was the best Steak Sandwich I've ever had and this fat bottom's tried his fair share. Cooked perfectly, grilled onions, fresh, crusty bun, mayo, tomatoes and a lil bit of fat for flavor plus it comes with fries AND a draft Bud Light for $15! Come on, man!!! Eat here. Drink here. If you see me here just leave me alone because I'll be eating and drinking my fill and I don't want to talk to you. Thanks.

My friend suggested this place because I was craving breakfast and thanks to him now know of this amazing spot in town...the vibe of this place has history and is in split between a sports dive bar & breakfast/lunch bar. There are both bar seats on each side and a few booths available. We got there just in time to have their steak and eggs & POZOLE...and both were delicious. My friend grabbed coffee from the bar side...food was on point and seems like we will most likely hit up this spot again. Thanks for staying open for us hungry hippos especially during this crazy pandemic and open today on a Sunday!

I tried~ *6.9% Sharlie, a hazy IPA. *8.5% Mothman, a DDH hazy IIPA. *10.5% Yacumama, a hazy IIPA with pineapple & coconut notes. ~I liked them all! They were all nice and refreshing on a scorching day. I brought my laptop to do a little work while I sipped and the staff was really nice about directing me to outlets. I actually had my first drink on their patio outside but it got soooo~ hot so I was thankful for all the indoor seating. Clean bathrooms, beers can be bought in cans for purchase and I saw some people just dipping in to grab & go. They had a couple of dedicated spots which filled quickly and then I reckon other parking may be a bit harder to find. Prices are good, staff is great and most importantly beer is cool & inventive. The pandan IPA was tapped out when I came in but I will surely be in again to try more.

Located in the industrial area of San Gabriel, Ogopogo highlights their ube beer and food. Sad to say, they do not make a pandan hazy IPA anymore, which was my main reason for coming. I had no idea! We parked in the faded parking lot in the front of the brewery. The parking is unclear as for the opposite side says no parking. We walked in, and felt very cold, since it was a rainy/cloudy day. They had their doors open that led towards he outside seating and the front entrance, so a breeze was going through. On a Sunday afternoon, it was not busy at all. We took a small look around the brewery and didn't see anyone. The beertender was actually hidden towards the left and wasn't near the register. She didn't say anything nor greet us. In fact, I don't know if she said anything at all. We ordered out two beers and went to sit down. I found out that she was counting her minutes to leave and another beertender took her spot. We sat in the back where the music wasn't as loud so we can do some work. I ended up going back up to order their hot dog happy hour: a Boeman and a hot dog for $10. I then ordered myself a hot dog for $5 in addition to a Hazy IPA. the second beertender was a tad nicer than the first. She explained to me the discontinued beer, which I didn't know about. The hot dog was pretty good for the cost. It's bigger than a hot dog you'd get at a stadium and it was definitely half the price. They had ketchup packets and offered onions as a topping. As for their beers, it was decently priced with the haze I was expecting. They had a bigger crowd of people starting at 6 when we left. The parking lot was filled on both sides and people created their own lot with their cars. It's just odd how no one really comes throughout the day on a Sunday. They could offer more foods, snacks, or incentives to get people coming, but I didn't see any of that. The workers seemed not to care too much either, so that's a bummer. Again, lots of potential, but the care needs to be put in. I probably won't be back.

The Brewery has a large parking lot however it gets full pretty quickly, if you get lucky you can also find some parking in the neighborhood street adjacent, or there is street parking for 2 hours on the main street. Yesterday was a pretty packed day, the main back patio with umbrellas was packed with people as there was an artist doing doggy portraits on that side. The back patio is disconnected from the brewery so you have to walk back and forth if you want to refill. I would say that side is more in the sun, so even with umbrellas it's a bit hotter on that side. The brewery is pretty cool inside, they have two separate bars to order from, one is the Beer bar, and one is the coffee/tea/ other things bar. I tried their Shibuya rice lager which was ice cold and very refreshing for a hot day. Our group also ordered the Really big pretzel, and Nachos which were pretty delicious. Finally, there is the front patio which faces the main street, and was fully in the shade. It is quite small with about 4 tables, but the sidewalk has quite a bit of foot traffic, and this is where we were able to set up camp with the fosters to mingle and meet with people who wanted to meet the doggies. When a breeze goes by, it is so refreshing and it's pretty nice on that front patio! I love that Wild Parrot Brewing company is dog friendly and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Thank you for hosting Pup Culture Rescue! A little shameless plug, my foster is Drew the Shar Pei, he is a bone faced Shar Pei, 42 lbs, very sweet, gentle, and very loving and as of this post he is still looking for a family to call his own!

I liked their hard seltzers with fun flavors as jicama, tamarindo and passionfruit. I didn't like so much their signature Yerba Mate Pale Ale, but thought it was an interesting concept. The happy hour special is Monday all day and Tuesday-Friday open until 6pm $2 off full pours. Very family friendly, I always see a couple tables with children and dogs at them. Maybe I'm getting to be an old fuddy duddy but I hate when parents let their kids go free range. Screaming and running around like the establishment is a park these kids becoming trip hazards. There needs to be a revamp of their board game collection. There three boxes of games that looked incomplete or used up, not good with such games as Scrabble and Pictionary.
