I realized I always come here and have never actually reviewed it. The girls here are awesome my pups always get treats and get acknowledged. Their white mocha is my go to, it's always fresh, and they don't overdo it on the sweet. I also get the strawberry fields red bull which is also really good. I do wish it had some chairs to sit down, but it's definitely a pick me up and go kind of place. The place is always packed can I add. But it's worth coming back to.

Java Hut is a great Petaluma coffee spot! This little hut is so cute and has both a walk up window as well as a drive thru. Their service is always pretty fast and everyone is so friendly. The drive thru is so convenient and it is really one of the only drive thru coffee shops in Petaluma (if not the only?). Yesterday I got an iced version of one of their Spring Specials called the Getting Lucky Latte. If you are a vanilla latte connoisseur like myself, you will love it. It tastes like a sweet elevated version of a vanilla latte. I also got a hot oatmilk vanilla latte for my mom and she loved it as well! Overall great convenient and delicious coffee hut!

Love stopping by here when I'm in a hurry. Te food and drinks are good quality and the service is friendly & fast. The drive through is clean and everything is very organized. I'm usually in and out in 10 minutes or less. I got a strawberry delight, very similar to Dutch bro rebel drinks, but this was way better. Also got a mocha frappucino and pork sausage sandwich. All together it was around $16.

Best blended white mocha I EVER HAD!! Very sweet girls working here and very fast service. I love how you could actually taste the coffee and it wasnt just a sugar drink like many other places. It was so good I downed my drink a little before taking a picture first lol I will definitely be back whenever I'm in town!!

Coffee is good! The cold brew comes with ice. They have fun drinks but the sign is usually visible after taking the order, so I miss out every time. Note: they do ask if you want to leave a tip when scanning cards. It does make me uncomfortable, I'd rather have the device to make the decision without pressure.

Always fast & friendly service, no matter how swamped they are. My favorite drink is their raspberry mocha -- YUM! They have a menu on the side of the building & also have a sandwich board with seasonal drinks on them. Love this little coffee hut, i recommend you definitely stop by for a morning pick me up!

The line is sometimes long, but on the times I've gone, the wait isn't bad at all. Each latte I've ever gotten has always been exactly what I've ordered & hot as well! The almond milk is always up to a great warm/hot temperature with a balanced flavor. Our kids loved the iced hot chocolate too. I've found the people that work there are incredibly nice. Ultimately, the coffee is definitely worth the wait and I'll be back!

    Hair in BOTH drinks
    Jessica G.

So, once I got down low on my drink I saw two hairs on the side of my cup. Didn't think anything of it, truly thought they were on the outside of the cup perhaps from the cupholder in our car. Once I kept drinking, I realized there were two hairs INSIDE of my drink. I poured part of my drink out onto a bowl and found 4 more small hairs in my one drink. I then went to check my husband's drink and his had 2 hairs as well! Tried calling the number online but it is disconnected. I know accidents happen, but the amount of hairs we found total was ridiculous to me! I'm posting to see if anyone had a similar experience today 1/26/23. The hairs were brownish red, straight, and super short like beard hair or a man's hair.

Iced maple and vanilla latte with half and half.

I got the prosciutto, fig and jam puff pastry. So yummy and the crunch on the layers were definitely on point. I also grabbed me a chocolate chip cookie which is huge and probably the same size as my face. And of course my sweet tooth wouldn't let me walk away from the register without grabbing a brownie. Took my girlfriends here for some pregame breakfast bites before one of our tournaments and they loved everything they got. So many things to choose from, you'll probably leave with a box. But trust me when I say, I don't think you can wrong here. Clearly it's a popular go to spot you gotta come check them out early!

Strawberry maritozzi: Of all of the pastries this was actually my last favorite. I felt like the bread was a bit dry and flavorless. The cream was good however and not too sweet like your typical American dessert. I think if they could some how use a different type of bun that isn't as dry, this would be amazing. 2. Caprese Sandwich (wrap): This was incredible. I really liked this sandwich. It was so flavorful and the balance of the pesto and chicken was amazing. Highly recommend. Very large and filling too. 3. Mushroom focaccia: Loved this! Focaccia was fluffy and a very generous amount of mushrooms on top. 4. Passion Fruit pasty: I LOVED this! It reminds me of being in hawaii again and reminded me of the malasalas there however in a pastry dough form. 5. Chocolate pistachio croissant: High quality pasty very fluffy and light with huge amount of chocolate. Overall, I felt like the savory items were incredible and overshadowed the sweet items. The sweet were still good though. Everything was high quality and fairly priced. Only item that I wouldn't get again is the Maritozzi.

Seriously, you might think pie is pie, but no, there's pie, and then there's pie from Petaluma Pie Company. Friendly employee and clean area outside the shop is well. So that's good. My only complaint is the eco-friendly fork they provide is absolutely awful. Not sure if it's a Petaluma requirement but real plastic forks would be much appreciated. Regardless, this place is a must-try!

I Spy With My Little Pie…read more This farm-to-table, locally-owned pie shop has been serving up both sweet and savory pie creations in Downtown Petaluma since 2010. They recently underwent an ownership change in 2024 from the OGs, but fortunately, instead of selling to a corporation, they sold it to an employee and his mother to help ensure the original ethos and quality remain intact. The Good: * Their pies are made with locally-sourced and organic ingredients bought from the local farmers market--as well as some fruit that they grow themselves! * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * As mentioned above, they have both sweet and savory pies. We only tried the sweet *oink oink* * Friendly service * Love that they have both full sized pies and smaller ones, so you don't have to commit to a big ol' pie. * We tried their Elvis (PB, banana, and chocolate) and their Black & Blue Crumble and they were both fabulous! I leaned a bit more to the B&B, as I absolutely adored that granola crumble on top, but the Elvis was no slouch either. The Meh: * Interior is small and very cramped. Definitely a grab-and-go type operation. The Ugly: * Parking in DT Petaluma can be a hassle, as it's street parking only, but at least it's free. Conclusion: Fantastic spot to scratch that 3.14 itch--and I'm always itchy!

Our server asked about our plans for the day, and we told her my friend had a bridal appointment next door to try on wedding dresses. Later, after both brunch and the bridal appointment, we happened to run into her again. She remembered us and even asked my friend if she had found any dresses she liked. The décor is beautiful, warm, and inviting. They also have a bakery if you're just looking to grab something quick to go. The only downside is that it's a bit on the pricey side, but for a special occasion or a nice brunch outing, I think it's worth it. I'd definitely come back! P.S interesting note, they serve their late drinks on a bowl not a cup
