I came to Java Day after my home wifi blew out and I needed to do work. It was quiet enough for me to have meetings and chat with friends on the phone without any issues. The free wifi is fast and the workers were super nice. The food was really good and affordable. I got a chicken cutlet sandwich w fries and an iced americano: total under $12. The vibe was super chill, a bit more deli/sit down restaurant than cafe but no complaints. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. read more

Just came back here for their hashbrown wrap and it was amazing! Super crispy this time. Placed my order and then went to the supermarket across the street for some groceries. Takes about 15-20 mins depending on how busy they are, so the timing is perfect. The service is also superb! Super friendly staff. Can't wait to come back. read more

Disappointed in this place. I have been a loyal customer for years but on my recent trip there me and a friend were about to order and all the tables were packed. We saw someone leaving so after they left the table we sat down and was just about to order. Then the worker comes up to us and says that we can't sit there because she has people waiting for the table already. We said we were just about to order and she said there are people that already ordered and we're waiting for a table. Now this is not a restaurant where you have to be waited to be seated or has waiters/waitresses it's a cafe style place where you just sit where you can find a seat. I asked the employee if I was supposed to tell her then if I wanted to sit and she said yes. If we wanted to sit we need to tell the cashier. Like I have never heard of a system like this before in a cafe style place? This has never been the case before for me at Java Day and the typical rule and casual cafe-like places is you just sit where you can find a seat. You don't wait for the employee to seat you in any way. Very disappointed in the service and will not be returning. read more

I had known of this place for some time but never gave it a chance until today. I tried out the egg with cheese and turkey bacon with hash browns and the fish fillet sandwich. It was very good!! I would come back for the bagels and breakfast platters! The prices were all very reasonable as well. Two sandwiches and a large iced coffee came out to around $14-15. They also have bagels for cheap (around 2.75 each), and variety of spreads, lunch platters, smoothies, etc. they also got a deal where if you come around 12, they'll add on French fries with any lunch platter. The service is good as well, they serve you your food once your seated and they are all very friendly. The parking is decent since you can park in the residential area and walk. read more

I really wanted to like this cafe but the long wait time is frustrating. We ordered a Stuffed French Toast, which has strawberry cream cheese slathered in the middle of all 3 pieces and a Healthy Wrap (egg whites, turkey, and swiss cheese in a whole wheat wrap). It took 30 minutes for our food on a late Sunday morning. They didn't start making our food until 20 minutes after our order. The two star rating is given based on service, food, and ambiance. Service: decent nothing special, but they did everything that was expected. Such as, greeting, taking order, placing order, letting us know how long it will take, and not too long later the food was brought to our table. In that perspective everything was fine. Food: My boyfriend and I came here because we wanted affordable western breakfast. Its true that this is probably one of the most affordable place for breakfast. They have a cute menu, attractive choices, unfortunately the food was disappointing. I would rather go elsewhere with the same price range or more for better tasting food. My omelette was bland, and barely had anything in it. I felt like I just had a bland egg with a little cheese in it. My toast did not have any butter within, which was unusual for me. My boyfriend order the B4 platter since most people on yelp recommended it. It wasn't great although cheap. He mentioned that it was rather bland and portion was rather small. Trust me- you'll only want to get 3 pieces of the French toast because they are GIANT! Best French toast I've had in a while . Delicious , not too eggy. No fuss cafe with tasty dishes and great service . You're also getting great portion sizes for what you pay ! My new little breakfast gem!! I've been looking for a cheap and yummy breakfast spot for a while. The diners around my area just aren't good at all. I saw great reviews and the pictures looked awesome at java day so I had to check it out. I walked in to this place pretty much starved so I ordered the B4 platter. It came with two pieces of toast, two eggs (however you want them cooked), ham, bacon AND sausage. Oh! And home fries too. Everything was just scrumptious.. I ended up eating it all! The service was a bit slow, and I overheard the two cooks fighting in the back.. which was a little awkward. They were cursing each other out and I wasn't sure if I was going to receive my food. I'm glad I did, though!! I'm really looking forward to coming back here and trying other things on the menu.. everything looked so good, I wanted at least 4 different things all at once!! The chicken supreme consisting of chicken, tomato, bacon, lettuce was huge! Shared it with someone and we were both full with just half of it. The ingredients are pretty fresh, however my sandwich was soggy, but I don't know if it's cause I ate it 15 minutes later (walking home). The onion rings were not as crispy as I'd like, and the onion was barely there, just the coating. I've came here several times before and I have yet to find something I'd reorder again. I measure a well made breakfast primarily by the HOME FRIES. That's just me. Java Day makes excellent ones. They accompanied my delicious spinach, mushroom, and feta omelette. Crispy, well seasoned, with onions and peppers, and a good portion too. The omelette was filled generously with no skimping on the feta. Staff was attentive immediately greeting me as I entered and offered a newspaper while I waited. Nice touches mean a lot to me.
