Hubby and I came here when we were in the neighborhood. We checked the reviews and they looked promising. Promise to feed me well! Yum yum! It was a neighborhood diner with pretty good crowd. We had Ulysses as our waiter. No he's not from the Roman Empire but did a fantastic job. It's a busy breakfast place and everybody was busy eating. I had soft scrambled with turkey bacon and Hubby had two eggs any style. Great breakfast. They made my soft scrambled eggs just the way I like it. We came here for the second time and this time Karen was the server. She's nice just like Ulysses. I had a vegetable omelette and Hubby had 2 eggs with plus plus. It's a simple diner worth visiting. There's a counter section and dining section and plenty of room. We saw Ulysses working at the counter. Of course they won't remember customers unless we come in regularly but we know who gave great service. Keep up the great work!

Formerly the 7 Star Diner, the Whitepoint Diner is under new management with the name change. A small facelift, a new menu, new staff and they're ready for business. We came on a Sunday for brunch and a lot of things have stayed the same. The Specials board is still there, but the smoothie drinks are gone. I am really glad they didn't change the pancake recipe because they are still as fluffy as ever. They are still tinged yellow from egg yolks which make them rich and puffy. The packaged high fructose corn pancake syrup though still does not do them justice, so I'll have to remember to bring my own real maple syrup next time. You have the option of pairing them with ham, smoked bacon, sausage or Canadian bacon. I went with the sausage which is the chunky 1" diameter kind, not the skinny breakfast variety. I also love the Corned Beef Hash, so got a side dish to share. My wife and son went with 2 of the specials, the Chorizo & Eggs and the Corned Beef & Swiss Omelet, both with Home Fries & Toast. My BIL went with a stack of Blueberry Pancakes and I shared some of my Corned Beef Hash with him. I have to say that there are a lot of blueberries tossed into the pancake batter. I can't wait to come back for dinner, but you have to come early because they only open until 8pm M-Sa. Sundays hours are only 7am-3pm for breakfast & lunch. Hope they have some good dinner specials!

I had breakfast with my grandpa here the other day. I presume this is under new ownership. It was quite for a Monday. A bunch of older people were there as well. The staff worked quickly. And the food was affordable. My waffle was crisp to perfection. My grandpa loves coming here for their eggs and potatoes. It's not what it use to be but it still a nice place for breakfast, with affordable prices.

Located inside the Whitepoint shopping center on 14th Avenue in College Point, my partner, my family, and I came to this small family-friendly classic establishment for lunch on the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend. Upon entering Whitepoint Diner, where the booths and tables were tidy and well-lit below a mirrored wall with a counter section, we were greeted, told to sit anywhere, and managed to get a table by the window. The menu was more limited than most diners we've been to, featuring their special breakfast dishes until 11 a.m., regular breakfast served all day long, lunch specials, or dinner entrées all made to order. We decided on the egg salad sandwich, tuna fish sandwich, beef gyros, and a side of sweet potato fries. The food was delightful and served its purpose. The service was efficient and very polite; the atmosphere was clean; and the price was affordable. After only a year and a half, we had a pleasant time well spent, and we can recommend this place.

Came to this diner for a late lunch, appreciate how clean it was, someone was constantly sweeping and cleaning. Waitress was very friendly. It did take a while for our food to come out, but you could see they were serving one table at a time so we waited patiently. The cheeseburger deluxe was fine, nothing wow but pretty standard. We did see many breakfast plates coming out and they did look very good, big omelettes and fluffy pancakes. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come back but if you're a local, it's a good option.

First time here! Surprisingly, it's a good spot. It's in a strip mall so it can get overlooked. Very neighborhood feeling. Customers all seem to know each other and staff knows them by name. Old timers seem to come here for breakfast and the staff lights up and gives them special attention which is nice. Thw staff is super nice and very attentive. The food is delicious which for the price I didn't expect. I got the #12. 4 large pancakes that came with bacon, ham and sausage and 2 eggs and a choice of coffee, tea or juice for under $15. This is a hidden jewel. I will definitely return.

Went here on a Saturday Morning , was not crowded and was seated right away the food was delicious ordered breakfast : pancakes scrambled eggs bacon were all great especially the pancakes nice and fluffy and flavorful! Definitely recommend

So glad there's a nice diner in the neighborhood. Food is delicious and service is friendly as always. Same staff as the previous diner. The onion rings are so crunchy and cold slaw is a 10/10! I like that they renovated-clean and simple. Feels very cozy.

There were people in their polo shirts coming off the golf course as well as people just there for a meal. We went for Sunday brunch. My mom had crab cakes and a ceasar salad, my dad had pizza, I had the truffle burger and my son had a cheeseburger that looked the same size as mine. I have to say I loved my burger. While I differ on our ex presidents views, this place knows how to make a great truffle burger. We all enjoyed our food. I opted for the bottomless brunch while everyone else had the brunch. The service was great. The server made it truly bottomless. I had several different drinks and liked the red sangria the best. I loved the relaxing atmosphere and view of the water. It's hard to believe this place is in the middle of the Bronx.

The restaurant itself is attractive, bright, spacious, and decidedly upscale. Although we had made a reservation, it really wasn't necessary on a weekday. The hostess warmly invited us to sit wherever we liked and promptly provided menus and a beverage list. Unfortunately, the service got off to a slow start. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, it took quite a while for our server to acknowledge us and take our order. A few more minutes and we were prepared to leave. My dining companion ordered the hamburger, while I chose the Cubano sandwich. Both dishes were attractively presented and quite tasty. The food was definitely the highlight of the experience. Our primary disappointment was the service. The server never formally welcomed us or introduced herself. Given the Bally's brand and the restaurant's upscale appearance, I expected a more polished level of hospitality. Obtaining our check was also a lengthy process. At one point, our server appeared engaged in conversation with the bartender, then walked past our table and disappeared into the kitchen for several minutes. Upon her return, I had to raise my hand to get her attention. To be fair, she was pleasant and courteous, but she wasn't particularly attentive--especially considering that we appeared to be her only active table. I had noticed similar comments about inconsistent service in previous reviews and assumed they reflected busy weekend conditions. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case during our visit. We had considered staying for dessert, but decided against making the additional time investment. Now that I've experienced Bally's Waterfront Restaurant, I don't think I'll be returning.

Service: 10/10 The employees were very friendly. They were kind and had a nice smile on their face. That is what customers should be looking for when being approached by waiters or waitresses. They were very helpful with the menu option. Food: 10/10 I started with their hot chocolate with whipped cream. Man! It was delicious. The whipped cream, by the way, is optional. It does not automatically come with the hot chocolate. The texture was just right. I picked a good day to drink hot chocolate. I have also ordered their standard Belgian Waffles with a side of sausage. I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed with the quantity of the waffle. They only give you one. Additionally, you'd have to ask for the butter. Butter does not automatically come with the waffles. The syrup is or at least should already be on the table once you're seated. Even though I only got one waffle, it was delicious. Furthermore, you have the option to add whipped cream to the waffles. They will add the whipped cream to the waffles for you. The same can be applied to pancakes. When all is said and done, they will offer you a blow-pop lollipop. Overall 9.5/10 I will be back. I am unsure if they do reservations. It wouldn't be surprising if they did. Their menu options and pricing were reasonable.
