Best feature of this place is the service - the entire staff seemed spot on. But as to the food - meh. You likely want to come here if your burger bucket list includes eating beaver, elk, kangaroo, camel, bison etc. Personally - I just want a tasty burger (beef is fine with me) at a reasonable price. I had a beef burger with mushrooms and bleu cheese ($10). Pretty good - but $10 for just a burger and a pickle spear (no sides or fries)? [And it took way, way too long for the kitchen to push out our modest lunch order at 2:30pm on a Sunday when the place was only 2/3rds full...] Onion rings ($6 for 'large' order) were super oily - I surmise the oil needed changing. This place rocks. Went for lunch, wish I had snapped photos, but was overzealous when the food arrived and chose to dive in. What a treat this little gem is. It's small indoors, with only 5 tables or so, but the staff has huge personality and good vibes. Our group ordered The Widowmaker, the chicken nugget kids meal, a classic cheeseburger and the chicken salad. Sides of tater tots and onion rings were crispy and delicious. The coffee shake and root beer float were amazing as well. Highly recommend this place. They deliver via door dash, and there were at least two to three drivers that came to pick up orders while we were there, so clearly this is a popular place. They have a nice selection of craft beer as well if you're an enthusiast. It's a little chilly inside on a cold day, so wear your coat in. Driving by this place didn't look by much, but my family and I were road tripping from Washington to California and it was dinner time, so we decided to stop by. The inside was small, but everyone was so friendly! Our waitress paid really close attention to our table and helped us with recommendations on what to order. She even took our soda cups to the machine for us when we needed a refill. The onion rings and tater tots were both really good- I couldn't choose a favorite. The hot dog was AMAZING, it was huge and had to many toppings. I also had a side of cream cheese I dipped it in (it's a Seattle thing). They had a bunch of different kinds of hot dogs on the menu which was really great! I always see lots of different burgers and sandwiches (which they also had) but a variety of hot dogs at a restaurant is less common, and much appreciated by me. Of course, my family also had to get a milkshake to split (highly recommended by the waitress), but it was so good we finished that before I got a chance to take a photo. First off, fantastic wait staff. We were greeted right away with a pleasant smile and friendly small talk. The owner was around and talking to guests, which is always a nice gesture. We were also in and out within 45 minutes, including a small 5 minute wait since we wanted to sit outside. Matt was our server and he did a fantastic job. Very personable! I personally like places where the menu isn't too extensive. Here the menu wasn't too long, or filled with an overwhelming amount of options. We aren't from the area so we asked for a recommendation. Matt told us his personal favorites and we decided to try two of them. I got the Johnny Ringo (I think that's what it was called), however I substituted a beef burger for their elk burger (they had elk, boar, beef, and bison). There were Fritos, pepper jack cheese, bacon, fried egg, jalapeños and grilled onion. Fan-freakin-tastic!!!! My boyfriend got the Southern, which had bacon, franks red hot, ranch, Gouda cheese, and fried onion straws. He loved his as well. Lastly, with this great food, they had a good selection of beers. What a funky little burger joint! They have the widest selection of burgers (in terms of what kind of meat you can get as a patty) that I've seen in any local burger joint. Boyfriend and I have friends who moved up to Oregon about a year ago and this was one of the places that they took us to for lunch. While Boyfriend's buddy has tried just about every "exotic" burger that Jaspers has on their menu (with kangaroo, elk, deer, boar, etc.), I personally stuck with something a little less scary and went with the bison burger, the Buffalo Bill. It was very tender! Seating is limited, and we ended up sitting outside with all the car noises from people speeding down the Pacific Highway right alongside the restaurant. But luckily, it was a gorgeous day and the bees/hornets kept their distance for the most part and it was overall really enjoyable! read more

I called to place an order and was put on hold. Still on hold 33 minutes later when I arrived at the restaurant. Got a half-assed response from someone named Ashley who blamed the phone issue on a hostess who quit. Apparently none of the employees bothered to check the phone. I even attempted to use the online order option so I wouldn't have to wait in my car for half an hour for food but the online order system was offline. I placed my order and waited 25 minutes in my car for food. The employee who brought my order out, Ashley, was again extremely rude. She offered a "thank you for understanding" in a rude tone. I stated that I didn't understand. Ashley became escalated and started yelling, putting her hand in my face and yelling over me. She stormed away. I walked into the restaurant with the now-cold food and asked for a refund. Ashley yelled that I was threatening her, even though I was calmly standing in the restaurant, and demanded that I leave. She continued to yell at me to get out until another employee redirected her. At that point, an employee named Mario offered to help. I asked again for a refund. I was told that the only person who could do a refund was another employee named Steven and he was on break. I waited until Steven came back from break to learn that he also couldn't process the refund. An employee suggested that I leave my phone number and wait for someone to call me the next day to issue the refund. I again stated that I wanted a refund. I waited for the owner to show up to refund my order. Well over 90 minutes after my initial call to place an order and I walked out with the order voided but no apology from the owner and no offer to repair a horrid customer service fiasco. I fully expected that I would be placed on hold when I ordered. I expected that it would take time to get food. Jaspers is always busy and I've never not had to wait. But this was excessive, even with an employee quitting. And Ashley's attitude was horrendous. The other employees trying to plant themselves in the drama instead of trying to help - asking me to rehash everything that happened - was horrendous. I left in tears. If you go to Jaspers, tip Mario well. He's nice and actually genuinely tried to fix the problem read more

After a 6 hour drive from CA we met up with family coming from WA, we had a puppy with us, the staff was so kind! We got a table outside on the shaded lawn, the puppy was treated with a puppy ice cream, so sweet! Perfect setting for a casual lunch with a puppy. The burgers were amazing, I think the best I've had, the steak fries and onion rings were just as good! Only thing I was disappointed in, is the fact it's 6 hours from home and I won't be able to visit often, if I'm ever passing through I'll definitely be back!
