We came here to enjoy family lunch. It was a large group of us in the space. Had plenty of seating for all of my family. I must say that the customer service was pretty good. The food came out quick and as my usual I go and enjoy the wonderful salad bar. Although you only get one trip to the salad bar the bowls are big enough to pile on all of the wonderful various toppings. If you have never enjoyed their salad bar it is a must try! They have everything from hummus to bell peppers to various greenery to croutons to cornbread to rolls to enjoy so get a good variety. Be sure to try a little bit of everything. So I moved to the Memphis/Southaven area a few months ago... so I'm still trying to adjust and get acclimated to the culture, flavors and lifestyle so I am behind in posting a lot of my reviews. I placed an order for Jason's Deli through Uber Eats. I ordered the veggie spinach wrap (Disclaimer: I'm ready to convert back to being either a vegetarian or vegan- (I've lived both lifestyles) The wrap was so delicious and surprisingly delicious! I rated my lunch a 4. But it was 3.5 at best because the pasta salad is COMPLETE trash! (No disrespect, shade or offense). It taste like they dumped rotini noodles with oil, broccoli, black olives and onion and said (middle finger). Truthfully, I will order or pickup from here again... I just know not to order the pasta salad. (Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the side order of pasta salad) but it's not worth nothing so... I hadn't been to Jason's Deli in a while. I was the neighborhood and decided to stop in for a late lunch. I had the half and half that comes with chicken ranchero wrap and spicy tortilla soup. The wrap was really good. It had all of the works including corn, black beans, chicken, pico de gallo, and ranch dressing. The soup was ok. It didn't have much flavor to it. I have been passing on this place for the six years I have lived here, but those days are long gone. I am from the Northeast and am very picky about deli's, pizza, etc. I am beyond impressed not just by the food, which I've got two days in a row, but the way its packaged and presented just as much. It felt very much like home right down to the amazing pickles (which I threw out without knowing it and complaining no pickle day one). Her food was hot and the grilled cheese made a great finish touch With the tomato soup. My sandwich was amazing. Haven't been here in a few years. Had lunch with friends here. I think it is absolutely absurd to charge $13 for a ONE TRIP ONLY salad bar. The lettuce was drenched in water, the cucumbers looked as if they were sliced a week ago, carrots were whiter than the cauliflower, the only protein option is bacon bits, and no low fat/low calorie dressing options. Recently made a delivery order w Jason's Deli. I realize in the scheme of the world this does not mean much except for a statement regarding customer service. Order was a sandwich which came w chips, a cookie and a Dr. Pepper. Upon delivery I discovered there were no chips. I called JD and got voicemail. I left a message explaining the oversight w my phone number. If you are going to spend over $20 for a sandwich/chips, cookie, and drink, the very least they could do is call re their oversight. It wasn't the bag of chips missing that was irritating as much as no contact by JD. The order was done over 2 weeks ago. 2 stars because my daughter likes their food. I was at Jason Deli today ordering the manager special . Which was suppose be half sandwich price an half salad price. The bill came to 41.86 for two. Since there is no price by Manager Special I question this. The receipt showed the sandwiches 26.60 (13.30 each) an 5.36 side salad (2@ 2.68) an tea (2@3.09). Obviously the sandwiches were full price per there menu an half salad for salad only. I went to the cash register and asked for a refund. The manager just opened the register and gave me my money back with a sarcastic "sorry." No attempt to find out what happened or why. I recently "joined" Door Dash mainly to get out of my quarantine rut and to make things easier on the family working from home. I love a good Reuben and simply put, this is the best I've had in a while. Finally a sandwich with some meat on it. The menu boasts that it has 1/2 pound of meat, and I'm pretty sure that's what I got. I also like eating on these types of plates rather than disposable ones. The sandwich comes with chips but no pickles. I asked the cashier if I could get two pickles from the bar without paying for the salad bar and she said that was fair. So $10 plus tax for the sandwich, chips, and two pickle spears. Considering a pound of pastrami can run about $10, this is a fair price for what I got. I have no problem paying $1.99 for the drink, but I did deduct one star for other prices that I feel are unfair. $1.19 for an overcooked cookie? Too much. McDonald's gets $1 for 3 cookies. $4.59 to add 1 trip to the salad bar on top of my sandwich? You've got to be kidding! First of all, the sandwich I ate probably weighed in at a pound so there's no way I could eat five bucks worth of salad! Secondly, for that price, don't limit it to one trip! Give me a small plate for $2 to accompany my sandwich. I didn't really look around their bar to tell you how "good" it looked, but I am certain it's nothing like the garden salads I grow in the spring. That's why I rarely order salads. I met 50 or so people for a lunch meeting in the private dining room. It is set up like a class room with a projector on the wall. Perfect place for a lunch meeting. The problem is that in the five years or so I've come here, there was no charge for the room. I mean every body is ordering and eating. It's not like we were renting the room and bringing pizza in. Best tuna melt in town! This place is known for its salad bar, delicious soups and incredible sandwiches. Call ahead for a to-go order. They've always made my custom orders correctly. They also have a great process, if you're dining in. You submit your and head to the end of the counter where you get a tray with your number. When you get to your table, you place your number in a holder so the staff can bring over your food. Everyone on staff is super courteous and there's free wifi. Grabbed lunch with a mentor of mine a few week's ago. Had a great experience. Many people came in during our lunch who we each knew which made the experience even better. The restaurant was clean and well-kept. The service was fast and friendly. There is a good-sized menu if you don't want the salad bar. The atmosphere was busy and full of energy. The glass walls on the West and South sides with the high ceilings provided a lot of natural light. I had the salad bar and it was outstanding. I'm amazed at the variety and sheer number of items they load into this bar. The food was fresh and good. We received the order an hour and a half later, Of course the orders were cold. The last time I went here, the guy at the register didn't seem to understand our order, even though my boyfriend and I both asked for exactly the same thing -- salad bar and a side of chicken (to, you know, put on our salads). As in, my boyfriend ordered, and then said, "She'll have the same," and the guy just did not get it. We moved down the line to collect our chicken and our salad plates, where the chick just stared at us, and we had to go back to the register and re-explain our very simple order. The salad bar itself is ok. Maybe I'm just a snob, but I'd rather have something freshly prepared than stuff that's been sitting out for who knows how long. Undoubtedly, they have one of the best salad buffets in Memphis for just $8.99 which also includes soft serve and ice cream. They have almost every ingredient required for salad. I was impressed to see hummus as one of the dressings. They have complimentary crackers, garlic breads (more like croutons), variety of nuts and fruits with Greek yogurt. A nice lettuce mix, plus spinach, and lots of goodies to put on top. I also liked the fruit. The reuben wasn't good. There was so much meat you couldn't fit it in your mouth. (I know, you're not supposed to complain about too much meat...but seriously...) The bread wasn't *really* toasted...it was just barely warm.
