They have a fridge of sodas and juices along with 4 fresh beer options for $5.50! Now, if you are vegetarian/vegan/gf this is the place for you! So many options for limited diets. This place is too slow and takes forever! There should not be a 1.5 hr lead time for take out orders. What are you doing? Growing the lettuce ? It's a salad. It could be assembled in less than a minute. Ridiculous... and what the heck is the "surcharge?" Instead of nickel and diming your customers you should build it into the menu cost. Received the tiniest sliver of toast for my avocado toast that I have ever gotten at City Silo or anywhere. I frequented the one out east and the one before they relocated and often got toast. This toast was so thin that it was like a crunchy crouton. Estimated to be 1/8th of an inch? I understand costs are high but this was a bit much. So this place we found based on yelp reviews because my husband is a vegetarian. I was absolutely wowed by the quality of the food. I had a yogurt bowl because I was nervous about what a vegan bowl would be, however, my husband ordered one of those and I had several bites of it, and it was fantastic, I also had avocado toast that didn't look like much but tasted amazing, The only downside to this restaurant is the mall in which it resides; it makes parking at Trader Joe's seem easy. There were people looking for parking spots, cutting each other off, honking at each other. The spots were small and close together and at weird angles. My favorite healthy food spot in Memphis! The food is always tasty and fresh, the juices are refreshing. My go to orders are the good roots bowl (OMG) and the hippie scramble. It never varies and if I ask for them to not include something in the dish, they always follow instructions. When I eat here its usually takeout. I call it in on the phone and pick it up. I'm not sure if they still offer the curbside pickup option (this may have been added during peak covid) but if so, someone always promptly comes out to greet you when you pull up! I typically don't like eating the same thing everyday, but I think I came here 9 times out of my 12 day trip because it was so refreshing and everything was so good. I also liked the casual dining of the place. Açaí bowls: Classy açaí bowl Semi pro açaí bowl - out of the three açaí bowls this was my least favorite because the chocolate and the açaí did not mix well. Super classy açaí bowl - this was my favorite açaí bowl and my favorite menu item from here. I loved the almond butter, yogurt, and chocolate nibs addition that elevate it from the classy bowl. Smoothies: Minty Python - very refreshing! Loved the mango, pineapple, and mint combination. Chocolate almond daze - this is a solid chocolate smoothie and was very filling. Lunch: BBQ hearty bowl - first thing I got from here. It was absolutely beautiful and yummy. Beef Walnut Burger - This was interesting to try, but I think I would've preferred a normal veggie or meat burger.
