This spot is tight but oh so right! Customer service is on one thousand and I don't say that lightly. Liz greeted us and was so genuous and nice. A friend and I stopped by for brunch on Sunday around 1pm. We were added to the waitlist and about 30 minutes or less were called and seated. Liz immediately noticed water rings on the table and came back with a towel to wipe the table down. She asked if it was our first time and discussed the menu and flow. This place is a whole vibe! As we placed our order we had help from Amber when selecting our flight flavors. She was hilarious and very genuine. She upsold me so much and had to almost run away but it was worth it. The had homemade pork skins in Ranch and regular flavors. There are several flights abd several flavors and your choice of vodka or tequila. These were a little sweet for me but they definitely took flight. The brunch menu is nice and simple and there is a featured dish, smoked turkey leg omlet. I was not ready for that so I ordered fish and grits. Liz informed us of how many pieces of chicken and/or you get and that all fish is 100% farm raised catfish! The food was very good. The catfish had an interesting seasoning on it and it was very good and fried hard with tender flaky inside. Oh so very good! The dipping sauce is a housemade version of hot sauce and perhaps honey but not sure. The grits were good but too thin for my taste but overall flavor was very good. We then met Ms. Adrena the owner and I let her know her place is spot on! The service, great. The food great. The vibe is AWESOME! I have to go back!

I am so glad I found this hidden gem in Whitehaven! They serve southern style home cooked breakfast made to order. The food is hot, fresh, and flavorful! I was excited to try new menu items. We were seated pretty quickly. You have to place your order at the counter and then they will bring your food to the table. Of course, I started with the eggs. Can't go to a place called Eggxactly without having eggs, right? I see why they have that name. I must say that the eggs were super delicious. It was a part of the Breakfast Platter. It came along with 2 strips of bacon, smoked sausage, 1 pork or turkey sausage links. They were all good. I also added grits. My food was a hit. The only thing that I would say need a little work are they banana froster pancakes. They were a little on the dry side and the sauce that comes with it is pretty runny. The toppings were not cohesive as well if that makes sense. It seems like it was thrown together versus being one cohesive dish. The price point is decent. You get bang for your buck. I am glad that this establishment is in this community and I look forward to going back trying more menu items!

Best Chicken and Waffles on the planet!!!!

There's only one place for chicken and waffles, Eggxactly!!!! Best fried chicken I've ever had!!! And that Hot Thigh Sauce makes it heaven!!!! Shout out to our amazing server Tonja, excellent customer service!!! This cozy little place is certainly the best hidden gem in Memphis!!!

Memphis...We have a Hidden gem in Whitehaven. Eggxactly is what I've been missing, it's delicious and inviting. I love all their breakfast Sammies, they're served on toasted bread with fluffy real eggs at a phenomenal price!!! Do your body a favor and pass by the fast food lab grown meat and processed cheese and find your way to Eggxatly.

Our group was pondering on going to IHOP to eat, but my thought was, we can go to IHOP any day. We needed to experience some Memphis culture and flavor. So, I found this location nearby where we were staying. I looked at the reviews, and they fit the bill. We ordered shrimp and fish with grits, an omelet meal, and chicken and waffles. Everyone in our group was exceedingly satisfied with their selections. I wish I wasn't the designated driver going back to Louisiana, or else I would have tried some of the alcoholic beverages. They have a nice list of beverages for adults. If you're looking to get a cup of mimosa or a pitcher, this is a great place to go. I would have loved to come here for dinner if I had known about this location before the day we were leaving town. However, if I'm in Memphis again, I'll be sure to check this place out for dinner or something. I hope they're open for dinner; I'm not sure. If you're reading this far into the review, just go check them out. You will not be disappointed. The staff is very nice. It's one of those locations where you go to the counter, pay for your food first, and they bring it to you when it's ready. Don't be thrown off by the exterior of this location. I knew the food would be fire once I saw it was a house now turned into a restaurant.

Can I just tell you how great this place was?? Super nice staff, the food came out really quick and was delicious! It is a converted house with fun decor, background music (at a reasonable level) we stopped in for breakfast on our way out of Memphis and thought it was a great way to start the day. The parking is ample, and it's located in the middle of a neighborhood. (We weren't sure we in the right place)

I came here with friends for a birthday brunch. When we entered the establishment, I was greeted by great customer service, as well as ambient music. The waiters and waitresses were beyond nice to the birthday boy, as well as the rest of us. The food was crispy, fresh, exquisite I will definitely be coming here again and I highly recommend this place! Hidden gem in Whitehaven, Tennessee!

I visited this brunch spot last week for my niece's celebration. The restaurant is in an old house so the spacing inside is limited, but they make up for it in customer service. The manager was our waitress and she was amazing at giving suggestions and ensuring we understood the menu. Something different was that we paid immediately after ordering. Then they cook your food. I wasn't even upset because the food was sooooo good! You get plenty of food for the money and it's worth the wait. SN: if you get chicken or fish, ask for the secret sauce!

Smoky turkey omelet, hash browns with American cheese and Texas toast

The location is very cozy. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The service was quick from eating in or placing a to go order. The food was delicious. 5/5

I showed up at 10:54 AM and didn't get seated until 11:54 AM--yep, a solid hour wait. By the time I finally got a table, there were still about 10 more people outside waiting their turn. This place only has eight tables, and when I sat down there were 17 people packed in--so clearly, it's the breakfast spot. I ordered the smoked turkey omelette, and wow... it was worth the wait. Fluffy eggs, savory turkey, and packed with flavor. Just one warning: I did get a little surprise in mine--a decent size fragment turkey bone. Nothing serious, but let's just say chew like you're protecting your dental plan. The outside looks plain, and the inside won't blow you away either, but trust me--the food does all the talking. If you've got the patience (and a good set of teeth), this spot serves one of the best omelettes around.

As soon as I pulled up I knew I was in for something special. Even though I was tempted with Chicken and Waffles I decided to go with something more unique, with the help from my incredibly friendly and helpful server, I went with the smoked turkey omelette. I got it with Texas toast and hash browns and let me tell you the flavors in this are insane. The smokiness of the turkey with the vegetables and the seasoning they put on the eggs all comes together for a rich and enjoyable bite. The hash browns also were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of crisp and everything to them. It's a cozy little spot that if it's busy can really be packed. But when I was there it was early enough that I was one of the only ones there. If you are looking for a good breakfast spot to start your day I recommend this little hole in the wall

I found this restaurant on Yelp and it had top notch reviews. Well they weren't wrong. Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Food 10/10 We had one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at EggXactly. Everything was so delicious it was hard to pick a favorite. I do think we finally settled on the Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich on Texas toast as our favorite. But the waffles were so light, fluffy, sweet and delicious! No syrup needed! And those scrambled eggs....WOW. I just wish I could have them every day. The atmosphere and service were amazing as well and we can't recommend EggXactly enough! To the point I have already messaged friends and said you need to plan a trip to Memphis just to have breakfast here!

My husband and I always look to Yelp! to find great places to eat while traveling. It never fails us! We enjoyed an AMAZING meal at Eggxactly. I had the Chicken and Waffles (topped with fresh fruit and powdered sugar) and my husband had Fried Catfish with French Toast. All of their fried meals come with their special house made sauce. Every bite of both meals was amazing! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service! The restaurant is a converted house and has a small indoor dining area - probably ten tables in all. It looks as though they have a small outdoor dining area but it was very cold when we were there. Don't let the neighborhood - which looks a bit rough- fool you! Go on in! You'll love it! We will definitely be back on our next trip!

So... aside from getting an iced latte with a pump of mocha syrup, I decided to try their potato hash and a side of bacon. Both were delicious. The bacon wasn't cooked hard so I don't know if that is a deal breaker for you guys but I like mine with a decent chew and not all crunch. The potatoes were cooked with bell pepper and it was so good to me. The bell peppers weren't undercooked and everything had a good balance. My only take away was that I started to feel like it became greasy once I made it to the last few scoops, but thankfully, it wasn't like it was swimming in oil/grease. I also took note that despite it being a decent line, they were functioning fluidly so I really didn't feel like my wait was long at all. Gotta love sufficient service. I believe I spoke on the decor before, but if I haven't, the place is very quaint with outdoor seating. It gives off a local bakery with a hint of modern. Another thing I like is that you can see them prepping some of the baked goods as you wait.

A Great Bagel Shop With Pastries Worth the Detour!…read more We stopped by this bagel shop after a nearby coffee shop told us, "You have to try their pastries," and honestly, that recommendation was spot‑on. Even though the place is known for its bagels, the pastries ended up stealing the show. Everything we tried was fresh, flaky, and full of flavor -- the kind of treats that make you instantly glad you listened to a local tip. Once we saw the pastry case, my kids and I didn't even pretend to show restraint. We grabbed almost all of them so we could enjoy a full tasting session on our road trip home, and it turned out to be the best decision! Each pastry had its own personality -- some buttery, some fruity, some rich -- and not a single one disappointed. It made the drive feel like a little dessert adventure. It was truly hard to choose a favorite. The shop itself had a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and the staff was friendly and quick to help. Even though we didn't focus on the bagels this time, the overall experience made it clear why people love stopping here. If you're in the area -- or even passing through -- definitely check out their pastries. Pair it with a coffee from the shop nearby, load up a box for the road, and you've got yourself a perfect travel treat lineup!

It's a dish that probably would've been better eaten inside, because the heat and condensation from the container sorta softened the breading by the time I made it home.
