Some friends told us about Bazars and we thought we would try them out. We ended up being in Hernando around lunchtime. So we stopped in. The interior is nice and rustic. I'm pretty sure it's family owned it. It Looked like the mother and a few daughters we're running the place. The service was great. They were very attentive. The food had good flavor. The only problem was, they were heavy handed with the salt. My burger would have been very good if they'd have just backed off the salt a little. I couldn't finish the Hash Browns because of how salty they were. Since they are mostly a breakfast place, we may come back to try the breakfast. read more

We stopped here on our way back from Memphis. Service was prompt. Our server was polite. Staff was very friendly. Food was okay. Nothing to write home about but wasn't horrible either. My wife had the biscuits & gravy plate. I had the breakfast eggrolls. The eggrolls were good but I felt they needed to be cooked just a bit longer. My biggest gripe was the coffee was not good. If you are a breakfast joint you gotta have good coffee. Coffee was very weak and tasted like Maxwell house. Very disappointing. The restaurant was clean. The decor looks like it couldn't decide on 50s diner or southern hometown women's tshirt boutique, so they just mixed the two together. Overall the place was okay for the price. read more

Had lunch today at the NEW Bazaar Diner. No longer a bakery but a well done cafe with patio seating. I had the Bazaar Breakfast Platter and my wife had the patty melt - great! My breakfast platter which was excellent (3 sausage patties, 3 pancakes, 2 eggs cooked to order). Service was excellent, The ambiance was great too. Just wish they would make their bar into a soda fountain area for teens to come and have a good safe place to " hang out". read more

The first picture is the lack of food that I received after waiting for 45 mins. It took them 20 mins to even acknowledge me. I counted not one but four tables that received their food before me. The second picture is the audacity. The tortilla was cold -about as cold as one of the waitress and her nasty attitude. I was excited to try this place out. This was our first time and it was pleasant. First, we were seated right away. Of course, that's always nice. Second, we were waited on promptly and our waitress was nice. She was there when we needed her and not when we didn't...it's like Spidey sense. Third, the food was fair priced and quickly served. My biscuit and gravy with all the sides was very good. It all had good flavor. However, it would have been nice to have a bit more gravy. My wife's breakfast tostada was just ok...according to her. Who orders that anyway?? The cookies, especially the Cowboy cookie, are delicious. Load up. On this day the cupcakes were a bit stale but I bet that isn't always the case. I just got back from eating at this diner. So, the appearance was great, loved the 50's theme. And VERY! nice workers. But the food was DISGUSTING!!!!!! tenders were dry and they weren't homemade they were TYSON chicken tenders. Fries were OKAY. And the ranch was DELICIOUS!!! So do not recommend coming here for chicken tenders. 1/10 And it was also 45$ dollars for three people very expensive!!! read more

I was excited to bring to my girls here and try this place out, but sadly I won't be back. My girls had the chicken tenders. They are definitely not homemade, just regular oh tenders you buy from the grocery store. Definitely not worth the price. (3 tenders and a side for 11.99 drink separate ) I had the club and it was nothing special bread was way too thick and maybe 2 pieces of ham and turkey. Ate there for the first time today and we will definitely be back. We live in the next county but this was truly worth the drive. My husband had the stuffed French toast and I had the eggs Benedict. Everything was delicious! I got the Bazar Platter with 2 eggs, sausage, and two sweet "chaffles" which is a cheese waffle with a little stevia sweetener added to it. I loved it.. It's a must try! PREJUDICE ESTABLISHMENT!! I'll go ahead and say what many others like me in the reviews are expressing without calling it exactly what it is... while I have visited this place on several occasions, I've always noticed the unwelcoming aura, but I love brunch and I'll be honest and say their omelettes are usually pretty good. This last visit, however, totally blew me. My mom and I stopped in for brunch on a Sunday. We waited patiently to be placed on the waiting list while the older lady (she may be the owner or manager) simply looked past us to accommodate all of the "light skinned locals". They held lengthy conversations as if we were not waiting to be seated, and I had to ask to be placed on the list. Now... I just stood there listening and watching her assist all the others asking how many and a last name, but when it was my turn she only asked how many- and wrote nothing down. I finally asked how we'd be notified and the older lady gave me a pager- oh that never went off after an hour and 1/2!! Even though she specified a 20 minute wait. I should not have returned after my first visit a few months ago because it was the same type of experience. We waited 15 minutes to be seated although the place was nearly empty. We literally sat and watched while other guests who arrived well after us were served before us... and there's this one middle aged waitress (35-40) that couldn't hide her displeasure if she tried. I never want her to service me again as she is rude and not attentive at all!!. The only reason for the 2 stars and not an all out 1 is that the food is decent- and there's ONLY 1 waitress that has been kind to me from day one. Sadly I do not know her name, but she's a young blonde thin little thing, but her personality is vibrate and welcoming in such a harsh establishment. read more

Friends brought me here. I had the Club Sandwich, which I enjoyed. It was big, but at the price, it was adequate. The fries were good, the seasoning was tasty. We had a group there so was about 10 of us. The waitress looked like she did not want to be there and told us about how small the kitchen was and we would just get food as it was ready...no big deal but it's like she was warning us this is going to be bad. Well, I visited for brunch with my cousin for the first time. Cashier (Amory) needs more training and customer service skills as (I don't know) should have been her name. After a more than necessary wait we were seated and our less than friendly waitress, proceeded to take the orders of the party that arrived after us, before taking our orders. We were on a bit of a time schedule so that was frustrating. I ordered the sausage cream cheese casserole that came to me with NO cream cheese visible between the crescent roll crust. I reordered the classic breakfast which was fine except the bacon burned on the ends. The waitress had to be waived down for everything we wanted. She didn't offer us any mimosas, which we on our own discovered they served. They were out of several flavors that were listed on their board. She never came to see if we wanted a second. Upon leaving we decided to get some bakery items for our girls for after their recital. The cashier was not knowledgeable about the topping on the cheese cakes and the price given was $6 each for them when the board plainly stated $5 each. She originally said that was for another cheese cake variety. After further questioning her response was that was an old board....which gripes me to no end when prices change and they can't update a board written in chalk??? that's false advertising...which like most things doesn't matter these days. Then upon leaving the cashier hailed that we were trying to leave without paying for one of our meals. (U got it the sausage cream cheese casserole)...that the waitress took off our check... after we had to tell her it was still on our bill. Undoubtedly when she printed the new check that part remained in the computer. It sort of embarrassed my cousin some. Once the cashier (Amory) got confirmation from the waitress that we were good, we were on our way. So that was our first and last experience and it was Bazar!!! Basically decent food.
