New cafe opened in Midtown. I checked out the preview day. It opens to the public tomorrow. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I really liked it. The vibe is so Midtown. I loved the meeting room, outdoor patio, and flaky chicken salad croissant the most. The croissant was huge and plated like something out of a European cafe. My eyes were very impressed and then it also tasted great. My hot chai tea latte was pretty good. My daughter loved her breakfast taco and donut. She didn't care for the strawberry drink with coconut and something else. I tasted it and it was not my cup of 'tea" either. But I'm not big on coconut, so that tracks. I found out that they have an omelet made on the waffle iron. So I will try that next time. According to my GPS, there are a lot of Just Love locations in AL. I think this is the first in TN. Right across from Saltwater Crab, another spot I love. It's different and I Just Loved it.

The cinnamon roll muffin and honey lavender latte were both delicious! Muffin was also toddler approved. Comfortable outside seating, and friendly servers. It took us about fifteen minutes to get our coffee because we went on a beautiful Saturday.

The food really isn't the best. I have found some of it to be fairly bland and lacking of any flavors. It is also on the expensive side but it might be because of the area it's in. I actually spend less at Starbucks so that's kind of a downer. The best thing I've had from there so far is a grilled cheese. I added chicken. It was $13 and came with chips. The only thing that made it good was the avocado ranch. The staff is really nice but sometimes they are MIA. I waited at the counter for 8 minutes to order a pastry. I waited but no one came so I just left. Finally, they changed their hours from closing at 5pm on Sunday and 6pm on the other days to 4pm and 5pm. I was really attracted to this place because of the space and the hours. I liked being able to work from there but now the hours would mean I have to leave and finish working elsewhere. I planned requesting to use it for many events in 2026 but I don't think it's going to work anymore. I understand it is most likely a staffing thing and I'm not judging. This is just how these changes have affected me. Before the hour change I would've given it 4 stars because the location and times made up for the rest. I would recommend people come try it.

We really enjoyed our food and the service was really great. It's a nice spot for brunch remote work and just meeting new people! Cute patio and nice vibes!

Sunrise Memphis did not disappoint. We stopped in around 12:30 p.m. on a Wednesday and didn't experience any crowds or much of a lunch rush. That being said, after eating here, I completely understand why people mention waiting hours on weekends. The ordering process is simple: walk up to the counter, place your order, grab a number, and seat yourself. I appreciated that they offer both breakfast and lunch all day because it meant we didn't have to choose between the two. I ordered the chicken tenders with tater tots and an Arnold Palmer. Everything was fresh, hot, and exactly the kind of comfort food you crave in the middle of a long road trip. Kyler ordered the Kitchen Sink, which came with eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, and a biscuit. He asked if he could swap the cheesy grits and biscuit for biscuits and gravy, and they ended up bringing him everything anyway! It was a massive meal, but absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I also loved the fun, eclectic atmosphere. The colorful Memphis touches throughout the restaurant gave it so much personality, and there was even a bar area that made me think this would be an absolute blast for brunch with friends. Sunrise Memphis ended up being one of our favorite surprises of the entire drive. If you're passing through town, do yourself a favor and stop here.

This place is quirky with its decor but on point with the food. Get the bacon! Always get the bacon! I'm still dreaming about it! Be warned! We were told during busy times, the line stretches around the building for a steady 8hrs at a time! May the timing of your visit ever be in your favor!

The food and coffee was so delicious. I wouldn't say I'm a food snob, but I'm particular about breakfast foods, and this made me very happy. We each ordered a coffee and the bacon potatoes to share. I ordered the Juniper Benedict and my friend ordered the loaded biscuits and gravy. The bacon potatoes were cooked perfectly, soft and slightly crunchy with plenty of cheese and bacon. The eggs in my eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and they used a regular house-made biscuit that soaked up the egg yolks perfectly. The restaurant was pretty big, but the ambiance felt like a small-town diner. The staff was super kind and attentive, too. The cost is par for the course for a nice diner in a big city. TLDR: Not a bad word to say about this place.

The menu was front and back simple with breakfast items and small section for lunch. Breakfast is their main menu meal. I had coffee and ordered the Belgian waffle that came with fruit and whip topping. The coffee was piping hot anso delicious you can drink it straight. The waffle looked good just was not hot and skimpy on the fruit and whipped topping. It had a nice crispy taste and flavor and was really good just not hot when it arrived. Caroline was my waitress and she had such a pleasant smile and disposition. A very personal person. The way she took care of her customers you could tell she enjoyed her job. She brought me my bill and there was a Big Bad Breakfast postcard attached. Nice touch. Excellent service. I got a coffee to go and it was hot and freshly brewed. The tables were cleaned after each customer, sprayed down, chairs pushed in , tables straightened and fresh silverware placed. Check the time before you go but this is a great place to eat.

We were greeted immediately and sat right away. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was pretty good. I'd like to come back and try other sandwiches. I had the patty melt and it had a lot of flavor. The sauce in it is pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the seasoning on the fries. They were cooked well, but pretty salty and overwhelming. They had like a chili lime taste. Next time I'll omit the seasoning. My oldest son had the New York chopped cheese. He liked it, but I tried it and preferred the patty melt flavors over that one. I'll definitely have to get some breakfast items next time because the pancake and cheesy eggs were amazing for being so simple. The bacon was over cooked. All in all, we'll be back to try more of the menu.

I had looked over the menu online so I had set my mind on ordering a half chicken but he informed me they no longer offered it. I looked over the menu again and I decided on ordering the chicken salad waffle sandwich and it came with chips and fruit. My sister had the order of chicken wings and we got a side of mac and cheese, two drinks, and a slice of cheesecake. We sat down and waited for our food. It didn't take too long for it to be ready and the very friendly employee brought it to our table. The chicken sandwich was pretty good but it got soggy very fast so it got messy as the waffle kept crumbling. The chicken breast itself tasted really good and the sandwich was stuffed. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The chicken wings were the best ones we've had in a minute! They were juicy, crispy. and full of flavor. The mac and cheese was also delicious. It was hot and cheesy. We decided to eat the cheesecake back in the room since we were super stuffed after we ate all our food. I quickly noticed that it smelled funky as I opened it and it had an overpowering cheese smell. My sister took her first bite and she made a disgusted face. I then proceeded to try it and I did not like it one bit. It definitely did not taste like regular cheesecake or to what we are used to. This was not good. Overall our dinner was good and the service was great. Both guys that were working were friendly and provided great service. I would so come back for some more chicken wings and mac and cheese! The chicken and waffles were well-executed, with a crispy, seasoned coating and soft waffles that held up nicely. The potatoes were cooked through with good texture and flavor, and the biscuit was warm, buttery, and clearly made with care. The drinks complemented the meal well--refreshing, properly mixed, and presented nicely. Now, the only miss: the pancakes (not pictured). They were returned due to being extremely thin and lacking flavor. That was a noticeable gap compared to the rest of the menu, which otherwise showed strong execution. Overall, this was still a solid brunch experience, and I would definitely return. With a small adjustment to the pancakes, this place easily holds its reputation.
