Several years ago, when I worked in the Wolfchase area of Memphis, I would have a McAlister's Chef Salad (with LOTS of Ranch Dressing and Black Pepper) at least once a week. I have been to this location on many occasions and am never disappointed and today was no exception. I ordered on the app and it was quick and easy to make my selection. I even had a reward for a free drink, which I redeemed. The new Savannah chopped salad was delish! Excellent mix of chicken slices , cranberries, and veggies. It would be worth eating just the salad. However since I'm indecisive, I did the "Pick 2" and also got the spicy turkey melt, which was fantastic as usual. It was served fresh & hot and had just the right amount of cheese and spice. We have placed numerous orders with this McAlisters Deli location through UberEats and it seems that every single time we order, there is always an issue. On previous occasions there were missing items and upon calling the location, I spoke to an employee who assured me she would call the individual who picked up the order and delivered it to bring us the rest of our order. Not sure how she was planning to do that, but it never happened anyway. Tonight, once again, we had missing items from our order AND the sandwiches were inaccurate to their description and very sloppily put together. This is our favorite McAlester's in the area to visit! The food is always fresh and the staff is above & beyond friendly and helpful. We also love the tea bar set up so you can make and mix your own tea. I like to do a sweet/unsweet tea mix and can get it exactly how I want it. We also LOVE kids night where kids eat for free. All these things have us coming back EVERY single week - sometimes more than once a week! We stopped here several times after church. The place is always busy. The service is good and they have an extensive menu. So many yummy things to try. They have great fresh brewed iced tea. The tuna salad and chicken salad are so good. They always make our orders fresh and the are accurate. They have outdoor seating for perfect spring or fall days. We will eat here again. read more

No I tried them again today and instead ordered a Reuben as a choose 2. The corn beef was an inch thick hard, would not tear or pull apart. I took an order from McAlister's through Grubhub, though not an issue with the driver. I didn't put bacon on my potato due to the fact I cannot eat pork, if I do I get sick. I ordered 40$ worth of food. I called the store and the cashier was very nice, but the manager however just told me since Grubhub paid for it and said she can't help me, and that I needed to call GrubHub. No specifications on how or what to say, and I couldn't find out how and didn't think it was worth the time. She was very rude and seemed agitated. As a person who works in the restaurant business I remain very polite in these situations when talking to food service workers, knowing this stuff can be stressful, but the dismissiveness of this was awful. I had to pick the bacon out of food and hoped for the best. I never leave negative reviews on anything unless they really really upset me, and this one did. The manager did the bare minimum. One of the nicest best run McAllister's in town. Always have perfect service, food ordered with no mistakes, and staff exceeding pleasant. The roast beef, horseradish and cheese sandwich is very tasty. One of my favorites. Pick sides of chips, fruit or Mac and Cheese (more options available). My wife had the 1/2 and 1/2: garden fresh turkey sandwich, and kale/sausage soup. The sausage is turkey not pork. She really enjoyed it. My daughter always gets the mac & cheese. This is my fav McAlisters in memphis! It has a ton of indoor seating and ALOT of outdoor seating too. Very dog friendly! I see people with their doggies here all the time (big plus). Their windows are large so they let in alot of light for the insider eaters, which I like. Workers are friendly and service is allright (I always seem to come here during rush hours!) I've ordered: The Club - good standard sandwich. you can't go wrong with this. I like that they toast the bread and slice it into triangular bite sized pieces! Mac N Cheese - comes out warm! Tastes better than the other locations. Chicken Salad - SO DERICIOUS. Unlike other sandwich places where their chicken salad is literally just mayonnaise and chicken, this place actually puts celery and grapes and the chicken tastes good!! I also LOVE that they put it on a *Toasted Crossaint* Omg makes it so dericious! Pecanberry Salad - I super super wanted to love this. But it's okay. The dressing is a little TOO sweet for me, and the chicken feels like it's been sitting in the fridge all day long. However, I do like that they put in fresh strawberries, blueberries, and very delicious toasted nuts!! Their sweet tea is delicious, and I love that they have fresh cut lemons for all of us that like it in our waters (or our teas!) I'd honestly leave no stars if I could. I have a large family and we don't eat out often due to the expense. We had an order for eight people and none of the orders were right. I understand there is a meat shortage but the club sandwiches were all roast beef, one slice of ham and turkey with 2 inches of roast beef. Cheese and pickles were missing, the ham sandwiches were basically veggie sandwiches and the spud maxes were just spuds with a bit of cheese on them. Everything we ordered was also cold. We should have been given the option to cancel the order if it could not be made as ordered. read more
