Ordered online. Was suppose to be ready at 10:30. Not. Waited till almost 11. No apology from the manager on site, just a shrug of the shoulders. Ordered the Italian sub. I did not want it toasted. Guess what, it was toasted. I was told that was one of their toasted sandwiches. I told her that the menu does not say that. She said she knew that, but doesn't know why not. Huh???? I had to come and see if it was as bad as they say it is. I walked in and did a quick inspection of the salad bar, and it looked clean and organized. I took a few minutes to browse the menu which was clean with no crumbs or grease stains - extra points. I ordered the Club Royale, and it came out promptly. I sat at a booth, and it looked freshly cleaned-but I did see a stain a previously review mentioned - on the wall next to the booth. On the other hand, there was an employee walking around with a cart actively cleaning. The total bill for sandwich, chips, and drink was $15.35 - expensive but comparable to similar establishments in this day and age (inflation). I see evidence restaurant is making an active effort to improve, and the previous 1-star reviews should be revised in my opinion. read more

First time coming back since 10/21/20 and wished I had just gone some place else. If you wonder how I know the exact date, look in the Yelp comments from that day. This time was a repeated issue back in 2020 as well... I order online with plenty of advance notice , so I can swing in and pick up the order and then swing by and pick up kids food from different location. Just like 4 other times in the past, they say my credit card didn't go through and they didn't make the order, BUT the amount went thru our bank acct. So, my issue is having to deal with this same dispute "again" and having to wait the extended time for the food to be made. Not saying it's bad food, just hate dealing with their "obvious" messed up computer system. Doubtful my family will return , since this issue is still around 2 years later. Just curious, anyone else have this issue ? read more

Seems like a normal Jason's deli. The employees are nice and smile. They are helpful. The restaurant is clean and they have busboys cleaning regularly. The salad bar is clean and full. I visit here often for the fresh ingredients on the salad bar. read more

So disappointed! My 22 year old granddaughter came to visit and wanted a muffuletta. She ordered the turkey muffuletta. There were maybe two thin slices of turkey on it! Yum! I like to bring my salad bar box home so I can chop up the lettuce, broccoli and other vegetables smaller. I wished I would have taken my salad picture beforehand! However, it's still beautiful. Hubby had a deli sandwich that he very much enjoyed. Not pictured are the bowls of Irish Potato soup and Chili, respectively. Both were enjoyed while hot upon arriving home. The salad bar selections were plentiful and clean. The salad bar toppings on a neighboring table were a bit messy and some in small amounts but perhaps they were very busy that day and/or low staffed on a Monday. That said, the selections were varied and I was able to enjoy that of what I did want from it. The employees were all kind amidst their being so busy. Phone calls coming in for orders, people coming in and waiting for their food (the waiting chairs were comfortable fabric seats one would find in a home living room. I felt bad for the cashier person as they all face her so hope there's no creepy people that sit there) and customers dining in with their family and friends. I hate to leave a negative I've review here. Jason's Deli in Mansfield has been one our go-to spots for years. Things have just gone downhill so badly. At 5:15 on a Sunday evening we were one of two groups in the whole place. The salad bar looked as if a hoard of children had played in it. The soups were cold and then reheated in the microwave. The bread was stale. Hard as a rock. So salad bar-bad, soups-bad, sandwiches-bad. Those are the three things people go to Jason's Deli for. They did refund our money when it was all over. There were more than 13 dirty tables when we arrived. The salad bar was completely out of spring mix and romaine lettuce. We had to ask them to fill the lettuce. The five people we saw working were much more interested in their cell phones than clearing tables, maintaining the salad bar and helping customers. We used to enjoy eating here, but it no longer feels clean and is most certainly lacking customer service skills. I did voice my concerns to the manager, but it seemed to irritate her. The last few visits have been bad but this was the worst. I cannot believe I paid money for this. Worse experience ever at a Jason's. We arrived at 5:30. Husband ordered salad bar and I ordered Manager special with a panini. 20 minutes and no meal. Asked manager and he said they put my order aside because they ran out of bread. I said why didn't someone come ask me and he said because they were busy I told him I would take a substitute and he said ok. 15 minutes later no food. Husband asked the kid at counter and he got very rude. We had to be at a soccer game, so needless to say I am sitting at a high school soccer game very hungry. No concession stand either. I unfortunately had the worst first time experience with this restaurant. First, I ordered lunch for my coworker and I. We ordered over the website and put it to be ready about 36 minutes out. Once I arrived I had to wait and additional 12 minutes and they couldn't find my order. Once I finally received it I took it back to work and eat. I opened it and saw that 1) it was the wrong sandwich and it only had CHICKEN AND AVOCADO.. nothing else on the sandwich. 2) my coworkers salad was missing the avocado, probably doesn't seem like a big deal however it's an extra charge. I called to let them know and was told to come back and get a new one. Again, I was on lunch so that wasn't an option. Once I asked for a refund I was told ok and got hung up on. I really don't know if they even interview anyone but the way the staff is doesn't seem like they do. Really seems as they just hire anyone. I did a curbside order and three items were missing. I told them what was missing and once it was ready they brought it to me, but it was the food I already had and not my missing items. The manager (I think that's what she was) was rude. Food was still ice cold and service was really just trash. I'm really disappointed. We love Jason's Deli, and have never, EVER had an issue. This location has been in a downward spiral since Covid pandemic. I ordered light version of Plain Jane spud with chili and green onions. I repeated order at drive thru, when I got to window young man asked what I ordered I repeated the order. 15 mins past young lady came to tbe window asked what I ordered what she repeated was something I asked about not what I ordered it took more time and I finally asked for manager she came to the window never introduced herself then blamed me for the delay as I changed my order which I didn't do. She was rude never apologized. Mistakes happen all they needed to do was own it. This is nice addition to the Mansfield Casual dining scene. You should come if you are a fan of Jason's Delis from other locations. I try to go once a week to fill up on my veges. I think they have one of the freshest salad bars around. I came for dinner in the middle of the week and it was much quieter than the than the location in Arlington. It is a little smaller and has a drive through as well. The service was great and the place was clean. I did read some of the previous reviews and this place might going through some growing pains trying to deal with the business lunch crowd in terms of dining on location and catering. So tired of calling in orders at this Jason's Deli and having missing items. It is usually the salad dressings. How can I eat a salad with missing dressing? My husband's salad also had the wrong dressing as well. Specifics were talked about on the call in order. Take out is not preferable at this location. By far the worst experience I've had at a Jason's Deli. I ordered online a simple meal at 10:30 to pick up at 11am. I arrived at 11:10 food was still not ready. I really appreciate the menu at Jason's deli. In the last few months I've reduced my meat eating to fish only, so eating out has been challenging. There's always the salad bar, but I wanted to get my hands around a good sandwich (Something I have really struggled to do since becoming a pescatarian). I tried the zucchini grillini and I was pleasantly surprised. No meat, but it still had a hearty flavor . Of all the times I've been to Jasons deli for takeout, I've always asked for 2 cups to take some ice cream home, since I ordered 2 meals. She wanted to charge me for a pint, I said no, I just want a couple of cups, with a lid. She goes and gets me these little tiny things, that hold maybe 1 ounce. Not what I wanted. She tells me, we don't do that any more. (So let me get this straight, if I sit here and eat, paying the same amount, I get free ice cream. The food is good and all the vegetables and toppings at the salad bar are fresh. The service is fast and friendly. The only negative thing about this place (for me is a big thing) is that the tables are dirty and non of the employees seems to care, leaving dirty plates on empty tables for a long long time. read more

Jasons deli is no longer offering unlimited salad bar! Now you pay just under $10 for one trip to the salad bar. Frankly that's the whole reason I come to Jasons Deli and it's very disappointing that this is no longer an option. Yes they do have other things that are good, but very few places offer an unlimited trip to the salad bar and that's truly a shame. It's not like I made seven or eight trips in the past, but I would go at least twice and I felt like I would get my moneys worth. Not anymore! read more

ordered two managers specials, I ordered the bowl of chili with no onions. they put it in the plate for the salad, and it had standing pools of grease and burnt bits in it. looked so gross I couldn't even have it at my table. went to get the salad and the cucumbers looked stale and soggy, the artichokes were swimming in water, just very bad all the way around. my daughter thought the tomato basil soup she had tasted funny. we have been coming to this location for years, had it's up and downs but this was just the last time as a family we will visit this place. my daughter was texting all her high school friends to now avoid this place as well. and to top it all off they are now asking for a tip when ordering. what is the tip for? This location is the worst and an actual embarrassment to the Jason's Deli chain. I typically love Jason's Deli and was so happy when I heard there would be one being built closer to my job and home initially; however each and every experience I have had with this location (other than going there myself and getting the salad bar) has been a poor experience. They are consistently getting orders incorrect on deliveries, do not rectify the situation when this occurs i.e, refunding the funds and or delivering/providing the item they messed up on. The management team (I'm talking to you Erik) is not professional at all! There is a real lack of customer service, and I suggest further training in that regard. If you do choose this location, DO NOT order delivery (there is without fail ALWAYS something wrong with the order, absolutely not quality assurance.), it is best to just go in to dine. Thankfully Panera is in the area as well and they surpass in quality and in customer service by far. read more

We have always liked Jason's Deli until the last three times we ordered through the drive through. Three times, my husband has asked for the sandwich to be toasted and each time they have failed to do so. He even reconfirmed this when he was paying. It indicated toasted on the receipt, but it was not. Also, the honey mustard requested on the sandwich was barely detectable. Hopefully, they can improve soon! read more
