Came to Salata and it was very clean and well-maintained. My husband and I moved through the line with ease thanks to Frank and Lacy! We each made our own salads with tons of fresh toppings. The fresh bread was delicious, light and airy! This was a great stop for lunch. read more

It was decent. We are new to the area and still trying out the many restaurants in Mansfield. We were feeling like a salad so we tried Salata today. We both had a small salad. Don't be fooled by 'small' - they're plenty big as a meal for one person. We both had the mixed greens but there were many greens options. Then came a myriad of vegetable options, the cheese, beans and more. Then dressings galore. All of these are included in the base salad price. $9.95 in my case with the small salad. Then came the protein options, both animal and vegan. I got grilled chicken and my wife got grilled salmon. The salads are made in stainless steel bowls. Near the end of the line, they use tongs to toss the salad well with your chosen dressing. My wife had 2 different dressings, both on the side. Then you can choose bread. I chose none. My wife chose what looked like baked of fried pita bread chips. Adding protein to the salads drove the cost by $3.95 (chicken) and $4.95 (salmon). My wife ordered a tea - that was $2.75. With tax and 15% gratuity, our lunch out cost $38.89. Not inexpensive. We both felt the lettuce and vegetables were all fresh. The proteins were great too. She enjoyed her ginger tea as well. Was the value there? This is a close one. I felt it was a bit too spend, yet I did enjoy the meal. Salata for me is a place I will return to, but will not be in heavy rotation. I do recommend Salata to anyone who enjoys a great, fresh salad with lots of options. read more

Build your own salad bar! Definitely something I'm alwasy looking for when I travel, for a healthy lunch to allow me to not fall asleep in the afternoon sun. The options were amazing and it wasn't done by weight. read more

I've patronized this location for years, but the service has taken a turn. Today they put the completely wrong dressing all over my salad, (it was not the Lemon Vinaigrette that I faithfully get and what was requested) ruining my birthday meal. When I called to ask for a resolution, the manager on duty was unhelpful and rude. Instead of trying to remedy the issue, she offered to write my name down and give me a free extra salad dressing for a future visit. When I explained that didn't help my currently ruined dinner, she promptly asked me to hold please and then hung up the phone on me. Save your money and go somewhere where they value their customers. read more

Great experience here. I can tell there are some hard working individuals by the customer service. Very clean establishment and plenty of seating. I choose a large salad with all the fixings. Quality ingredients and they didn't skimp on the portions. I loved the peach lemonade, and wish I had a gallon to take home. Very tasty meal and I was in and out in no time . Check this place out! read more

Salad was delicious as normal. I still think that a small scoop of protein should be included in the price. The portion of protein for the big salad is a little low. read more

I've been coming to this locations for some time now and I'm always met with the best service. No complaints! The ingredients are always fresh. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. I am always greeting upon entry, which I love. Genesis always makes sure to greet you with a smile, even if she's assisting someone else. I can tell she's a great leader by the way she interacts with her team members and guest. I really enjoy coming to this location. read more

Really good salad & chips. Salad was a small but could fed at least 2-3 people. The only draw back was they did not give me salad dressing. read more

I generally love Salata, it's concept and their quality and cleanliness. However today at the Mansfield location, I found a hair in my food. Very disturbing and ruined my appetite. I think better practices should be out in place. Possibly hair nets? read more

Love this Salata location. Super friendly and courteous folk. Although salad ingredients and fresh toppings were scarce today due to the recent 2/2/22 snow and ice storm... I agree that fresh is always best and who wants old salad toppings? Ross was kind enough to explain the shortage. I must add that Ross is always super nice and courtesy! But today is his last day with Salata. read more

Tasty fresh create your own salad. So good. Our family of 4 keep coming back and back again. We like that we can come here when on plan (keto diet) and off plan, ha! So, many other places are hard to eat at when we are on plan. I always get the fresh herb vinaigrette dressing, it's so delicious. We all create our own salads and love them. You can switch it up each time or stick with one way. We did finally remember to download the app to earn rewards, it's nice to earn rewards and redeem for cash off! We love it here. read more

Okay okay. Hear me out with this rating.... The salad was good! BUT $16 , baby' that's wild lol. It's like a build your own salad set up! Therefore, they have some up charges which includes the meat , avocados, etc. I had a spicy chicken chipotle salad that I built. I picked out two sauces and they both were yummy and bottle worthy! (Chipotle ranch & Jalapeño Avocado). Nothing about the salad screamed I GOT TO GO BACK! However it was tasty lol Now the main issues or downfalls for me - you can't ask for your meat to be heated - avocados is $1, but it's just a 1/4 slice - meat is not included in the salad size (like a chipotle menu) If I was out and in need of a healthy option I would def stop by then read more

Salata is always a great spot for fresh food. This place has a relaxed vibe you and can dive into deep discussions while enjoying your meal. It is clean to a "T". The servers are kind and friendly. You can engage in conversation with the staff and they are responsive. Also, if you are not in the mood, they read it and respect it. read more

Wanted to try a salad place today. And tried Salata. The place is clean and ambiance inviting. The food options are fresh, but the menu and pricing were confusing. They don't have set options, on display you'll have to ask for a menu. And service was okay because explanation was confusing. The regular bowl was easy to order, but if you get a kids meal for your kid you have to make it clear you want a protein or 5 side. read more

The food was great. My salad was delicious. The music however, was awful. I didn't want to sit in a nice place and listen to music that has cursing. Like the "F" word and others. Not sure if we'll be back to that location. read more

Terrible customer service. Been here several times within the month, only because they promise better costs. False! The food is not fresh and I would never recommend this place to anyone! The only plus is the environment! -10000000 read more

Annabel, Lupita and Abby were great. Handled my food with care. Over all great service.

We have been back and the business is better. The food is always fresh and the service has been really good the last couple of times.

My wife stumbled upon the fact that they are open now today so we decided to stop in. If you aren't familiar with Salata, they are the "Subway" of salads. As a result, you get stuck in a queue with a bunch of people in front of you and it's held up by people being stupid and not being able to choose whether or not they want tomatoes. This place uses the typical deceptive sizing technique in which the regular size is way too large and the "Small Salad" size is honestly still too large. Go with the Small Salad at $7 rather than the $8 regular salad. Their romaine lettuce isn't from an affected area with the ecoli out break so that is good. They have a wide variety of vegetables and cheeses to add to your salad. They have several salad dressings as well. What you don't realize when you get in line is that all of the proteins are $3 or $4 extra. You're now looking at a $10 salad. Ouch. I went with the Chipotle Chicken which I thought was pretty good. They have other options such as salmon and shrimp as well. The drinks are a bit different. Their back wall has a selection of teas on tap. My wife really liked hers. They do have four fountain soft drinks on a fancy tap handle including diet coke. They also have bottled soda as well. It looks like they do have some wine available. The one advertised was $7 a glass. We also had a cup of the Tomato Basil soup. It was just ok. We probably wouldn't do it again. All in all this is a decent place for lunch but pricey. I wouldn't recommend taking the whole family here for dinner unless your kids just really love salad. If you did, you are easily looking at $40 - $50. The interior is very plain with white walls, they need to add some color or decorations to the wall. read more

Food is fresh. Place is clean. Staff is multiracial. Yet the white ladies seem to think that all black people are together. White man ahead of me got great treatment. Had all of his salad prepared in one go. Myself and the couple behind me had to seemingly have everything done as a group. They had three salads while I only had one. Yet I had to wait. I'm grateful that they did have black employees that took notice and went ahead and pulled me to the register so that I could leave. Plus the portions that were put in my bowl were very different that what the previous man got. I won't be back. read more

No complaints easy to order subway reminiscent assembly line access to salad ! This place has a nice simple modern interior and parking is readily available outside since there's not anything in business currently next door! I came here for lunch with my grandma and ordered a salad with everything I could think of that I wanted on it ! They have plenty of topping options! Including crab outside of the regular protein available and I thought that was cool ! I got carrots, cucumber, black olives, cilantro, corn, cranberries, avocado, pasta AND crab with ranch dressing on my salad and Alll those different flavors appease my taste buds usually on salads but not always combined together so this was an experimental order ! read more

This is one of my favorite Broad Street Spots. The ingredients are constantly being changed to ensure freshness. My only note is the price point- the salads will cost a pretty penny, around 16 dollars for a medium size. The staff is usually friendly, but typically acting inconvenienced if you are requesting additional toppings. The store is very clean, but always a bit too cold inside for my liking. One of my go to's! read more

Delicious and serving was plenty. Did wished they had Dr Pepper not really a lemonade person but it was actually really good!

The food itself is fresh and flavorful. My complaint is that the salad size is so small. This attached picture is of the Jalapeño Avocado salad, Regular size. For some reason there is no corn, and this is without being eaten, only shaken up to mix. $12 salad and doesn't feed like an entree. This is my third time getting to go and I keep thinking it was a fluke, but sadly the salads are too small for the price. read more

I'm so excited about this place! My first time, but sooo many options, great flavors, and you dont only have to get a salad! They have salads, wraps, and soup. Good service and loved the tea on tap. The raspberry lemonade is my current favorite. It is a little pricey, protein is extra cost and only in small amounts, but overall delicious! read more

I have loved Salata for years now since I stumbled upon their University Park location for the very first time. Super excited that they've been expanding so much and finally made it to Mansfield! The salad is not cheap, but since when has salad or any healthy food been cheap? It is a small price to pay for a delicious salad with tons of toppings to choose from, plus, you cannot put a price on treating your body well and fueling it correctly. Besides the base for the salad (can be baby spinach, kale, spring mix, salata mix, or a combination of any of those) that comes in size small or large, you can ask for more toppings as long as it's not one of those premium $1 topping (avocado, artichoke and couple more things). My favorite has been salata mix with some kales, chipotle chicken, and herbs vinaigrette. I haven't tried any other dressings, but plan on doing so one of those days. I love their teas/lemonade tap option. All the teas are organic and unsweetened (they have different types of sugar and sweeteners for your liking). They come in tap and self-serve which make it pretty unique. I am a sucker for green anything and the fact that their main theme color is green, plus the to go container is pretty lime green just make me love this place even more! read more

This is my second time here! I came on the first day and I think they were still training... so only so-so. I must say that they that the last few weeks have served them well. HUGE improvement! Fresh ingredients, great service and the healthiest meal for a 5 year old a mom could ask for! I was a HUGE Solata patron at the Ren Tower location in Dallas a few years back and have missed it so! YES! Just yes! Been waiting for this for a long time, Mansfield needed a great salad place! Love the tropical green tea from the tea tap and the ginger lime vinaigrette and herb vinaigrette are my 2 fav dressings! All the toppings are super fresh and delish! Before when I came in with my parents to eat, the staff wasn't very interactive aside of taking the orders. Tables weren't always the most clean at times but there were clean ones anyways. But nowadays, I've come back twice in a row and both times I've been happily welcomed and even recognized by one of the workers since the last I came was only yesterday. There're quite a few more people eating in more than I originally saw too. Splendid work y'all. read more

Only saving grace is the food. The service is slow, nothing is stocked and ready to go even when they don't have much business. The manager sits on his phone in the back of the store while other employees talk about whatever he's focused on with his phone (this has happened during multiple visits). The tables have crumbs and not cleaned - also when business is slow and multiple employees sit behind the counter doing nothing. Would recommend for the food, but the employees need more training and better leadership. read more

I ordered through DoorDash for lunch today. The salad was really huge. All the toppings are on the bottom so you have to dig in the container to find them. They did put cheese on the salad. I double checked my order through DoorDash to make sure I didn't accidentally select cheese and I didn't. Salata also included the order form the delivery driver completes in the bag and the driver didn't select cheese. It's ok. The Spicy Chipotle Chicken is very spicy. A little too spicy for me. The apples also had a weird after taste. Probably from whatever they use to keep them from turning brown. I'll get a salad from them again. read more

Salata is going to cause salad bars to step up their game or be left in the dust. One of the best qualities that this chain has is that all items, regardless of what they are, have a calorie and carb content for those who are watching their weight. I like that you can pick whatever ingredients you want, but someone else handles it with gloves. I'm not the biggest fan of buffets where people stick their hands into everything. The only thing I was disappointed in was the soup because it was lukewarm at best. And some of the drinks didn't specify whether they were sweet or unsweet but all in all definitely worth a try if you've not been. It's the best place I've been for a salad in a quite a while read more
