It was okay. We went here for lunch based on recommendations on Facebook (Mansfield Foodies). Some report it as being better than Gyro Stop on Debbie Lane. I disagree. My wife had a Gyro (menu item #1) and I had a Gyro Salad (menu item #12). Both were decent food items but they weren't head and shoulders above anywhere else I've eaten the same. The amount of Gyro meat was adequate (it was carefully weighed during assembly), not over abundant. The Tzatziki sauce was definitely lacking. It was there but it wasn't flavorful. The Greek dressing was decent and the amount of lettuce was good as well. The store wasn't busy around 1 pm on a Saturday. The indoor seating area is quite large. There were ceiling fans going and it kept the interior very cool. We put on our light jackets. I found the place to be clean as well. If I was at the east end of town and wanted a quick Greek meal, I would eat again at Stop-N-Go Gyros. Likewise, if I was on the 287 corridor, I'd definitely stop at Gyro Stop. read more

Ordered online to pickup a to-go order. It was simple, easy, & fast! My food was still hot when I got back to the office. The portions are large, the toppings on the fries were plentiful. Sometimes you go somewhere & they only sprinkle enough for just the top of the fries, nope not here! The gyro was really good, not greasy, and held together well. Well seasoned with a great balance of taziki where it's not overpowering or too little. Friendly staff members, the restaurant was clean, & I'll probably go back to dine in with friends soon. It was empty when I got there but it was also during the day when most people are at work or school. Came across this spot on Yelp while looking for a quick pickup meal during a work trip to Mansfield. I saw someone compare the gyro meat to what you'd find at NY and upstate Halal carts, so naturally, I had to give it a try. I stopped by around 1 PM. While the restaurant itself wasn't busy with dine-in guests, the staff seemed focused and busy handling a steady stream of to-go orders. The menu is pretty straightforward--shawarma/sandwich wraps and plates--but the real standout for me was the garlic sauce. Definitely a must-order on the side! Food: - Gyro Plate (7/10): The plate came with gyro meat, rice, a lettuce/salad mix, pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and a small side of hummus. The gyro meat was decent but didn't quite live up to the NYC halal cart comparison. The rice was on the bland side, I think a bit more seasoning or a touch of saffron would've helped. The red sauce lacked spice, and the white sauce didn't quite hit the mark for me either. Solid, but not crave-worthy. - Greek Fries (9/10): Crinkle-cut fries topped with feta cheese, garlic sauce, paprika, parsley, and tzatziki. These were fantastic! The toppings really elevated the flavor, and again, that garlic sauce was the MVP. I'd come back just for these. Overall: If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely return for the Greek fries and that garlic sauce. Overall, I'd give this place a 7/10. The gyro over rice didn't quite do it for me, but the fries? We are kicking ourselves for not coming sooner! Everything we ordered was amazing (see photos), but I could eat an entire bowl of their baba ganoush. It had all the smokiness of fired eggplants, gently blended with creamy tahini sauce. The interior reminds me of being inside an air duct mostly because it was frigid! It was also pretty barren and basic, with a multi-colored string of flags outside as a nod to frivolity. But I don't actually care, since I'm eyeballs-deep in the pan-carton of food anyway. Wow! I implore you all to stop by Stop-N-Go Gyros on Broad St where the Dickies used to be in Mansfield. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly with great ambiance. I had the Gyro sandwich with Greek Fries. I also tried the Hummus, which is very creamy and delicious and goes great with the Greek Fries. It was awesome! I'm disappointed to say this will be my last visit. While the food quality is excellent, the service experience has consistently fallen short. On my most recent visit, I placed an order, left for 20 minutes, and returned to find it hadn't been started. The staff was apologetic about the wait, but this is part of a consistent pattern. Additionally, the lack of greeting upon arrival and the staff's apparent reluctance to engage with customers made for an uncomfortable experience. Despite genuinely enjoying the food, the persistent service issues outweigh the quality of the food. I won't be returning. Good luck. read more

Place used to be good but lately the younger generation is working there and showing signs of "I don't care". Went there on a Saturday evening and orders were backed up for a delivery with one tall teen and another guy working. This place has only been open for two months, but it's already a favorite. I ordered the falafel salad, and it was excellent. The chopped salad was fresh and flavorful, with red onion and cucumber perfectly paired with their delicious dressing. The falafel was warm, crispy, and cooked to perfection. I also tried a side of their chicken and some Greek fries, and everything was very good. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced. To top it all off, I had their chocolate chip pistachio cookie, and it was amazing--crispy on the edges, soft in the center, and full of flavor. The owner came out to talk with us, and he was so kind and welcoming. It's clear he's passionate about his restaurant and cares about his customers' experience. We will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem in Mansfield. I got the number 6 chicken plate and it came with salad with a delicious dressing, rice, hummus and pita bread. The chicken can either come with or without the garlic mayonnaise sauce - i will skip it next time but that's just personal preference. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and hummus was really good. Portions are big here and the service was great! You order in the line when you arrive but they came and checked on us even after we sat to be sure we didn't need anything. Inside was super clean and plenty of seating. The HUMUS is HITTING!! 5 stars for the Humus alone. I will try humus at restaurants but usually I am not a fan. I just spent the ride home thinking about this humus, when will we go again and what size should I order on the next visit. It truly was some of the best I've ever tasted. You get a little side order of it when you get a plate. We ordered way too much food to begin with so I stuck with what I got. The hummus homemade, I verified that. Ok the rest of the food. I got the Chicken plate that came with grilled chicken, seasoned rice, HUMUS, side salad with dressing and 4 slices of pita bread. The chicken and bread were solid. The rice was pretty dang good fluffy with an excellent flavor. Besides the top dog Humus on the plate this side salad was really good. Fresh everything with a nice dressing.
