Gyro Plate - objects in photo are much more filling and flavorful than they appear!

We are kicking ourselves for not coming sooner! Everything we ordered was amazing (see photos), but I could eat an entire bowl of their baba ganoush. It had all the smokiness of fired eggplants, gently blended with creamy tahini sauce. The interior reminds me of being inside an air duct mostly because it was frigid! It was also pretty barren and basic, with a multi-colored string of flags outside as a nod to frivolity. But I don't actually care, since I'm eyeballs-deep in the pan-carton of food anyway. Don't assume this is fast food by any measure, despite the name and drive - thru. Awesome takes time, so we will be calling ahead next time.

Came across this spot on Yelp while looking for a quick pickup meal during a work trip to Mansfield. I saw someone compare the gyro meat to what you'd find at NY and upstate Halal carts, so naturally, I had to give it a try. I stopped by around 1 PM. While the restaurant itself wasn't busy with dine-in guests, the staff seemed focused and busy handling a steady stream of to-go orders. The menu is pretty straightforward--shawarma/sandwich wraps and plates--but the real standout for me was the garlic sauce. Definitely a must-order on the side! Food: - Gyro Plate (7/10): The plate came with gyro meat, rice, a lettuce/salad mix, pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and a small side of hummus. The gyro meat was decent but didn't quite live up to the NYC halal cart comparison. The rice was on the bland side, I think a bit more seasoning or a touch of saffron would've helped. The red sauce lacked spice, and the white sauce didn't quite hit the mark for me either. Solid, but not crave-worthy. - Greek Fries (9/10): Crinkle-cut fries topped with feta cheese, garlic sauce, paprika, parsley, and tzatziki. These were fantastic! The toppings really elevated the flavor, and again, that garlic sauce was the MVP. I'd come back just for these. Overall: If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely return for the Greek fries and that garlic sauce. Overall, I'd give this place a 7/10. The gyro over rice didn't quite do it for me, but the fries? Worth the stop.

We ordered from when I was at work the other day. We went and picked up all of our food and ended up not getting some of our orders right. The food was decent, not bad but not great. We had lamb, beef and chicken. Some of the girls did not care for the beef. I would not order food from here again.

Wanted to give this spot a try on the way home from a bball game. Wasn't dissapointed either. It was empty but had. A lot of space inside for various group sizes. They have a sizable menu and the gyro meat was made perfectly. Highly recommend the gyro plate or gyro with fries.

Chocolate chip pistachio cookie - very good!

This place has only been open for two months, but it's already a favorite. I ordered the falafel salad, and it was excellent. The chopped salad was fresh and flavorful, with red onion and cucumber perfectly paired with their delicious dressing. The falafel was warm, crispy, and cooked to perfection. I also tried a side of their chicken and some Greek fries, and everything was very good. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced. To top it all off, I had their chocolate chip pistachio cookie, and it was amazing--crispy on the edges, soft in the center, and full of flavor. The owner came out to talk with us, and he was so kind and welcoming. It's clear he's passionate about his restaurant and cares about his customers' experience. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

This is a hidden gem in Mansfield. I got the number 6 chicken plate and it came with salad with a delicious dressing, rice, hummus and pita bread. The chicken can either come with or without the garlic mayonnaise sauce - i will skip it next time but that's just personal preference. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and hummus was really good. Portions are big here and the service was great! You order in the line when you arrive but they came and checked on us even after we sat to be sure we didn't need anything. Inside was super clean and plenty of seating. We will be back soon.

Did I just find my new favorite Mediterranean spot? I think maybe so.... order at the counter styles so your food is quick and ready to go. I really enjoyed the chicken plate which came with pita, hummus, rice, chicken, and a salad. The dressings on top of the salad and the chicken were both delicious. The humus was SO good! There's a little bit of olive oil drizzled in the middle that was delicious. Very reasonably priced and very nice inside so I will definitely be back.

Falafel salad, chicken salad, pita bread

I ordered a chicken salad, a falafel salad and some pita. The salads were huge, and very tasty. I could only finish 1/3 of each, will save them for later. The staff were nice, service was quick. I will definitely go back to try other dishes. Bravo Stop-n-Go Gyros.

Don't be fooled by 'small' - they're plenty big as a meal for one person. We both had the mixed greens but there were many greens options. Then came a myriad of vegetable options, the cheese, beans and more. Then dressings galore. All of these are included in the base salad price. $9.95 in my case with the small salad. Then came the protein options, both animal and vegan. I got grilled chicken and my wife got grilled salmon. The salads are made in stainless steel bowls. Near the end of the line, they use tongs to toss the salad well with your chosen dressing. My wife had 2 different dressings, both on the side. Then you can choose bread. I chose none. My wife chose what looked like baked of fried pita bread chips. Adding protein to the salads drove the cost by $3.95 (chicken) and $4.95 (salmon). My wife ordered a tea - that was $2.75. With tax and 15% gratuity, our lunch out cost $38.89. Not inexpensive. We both felt the lettuce and vegetables were all fresh. The proteins were great too. She enjoyed her ginger tea as well. Was the value there? This is a close one. I felt it was a bit too spend, yet I did enjoy the meal. Salata for me is a place I will return to, but will not be in heavy rotation. I do recommend Salata to anyone who enjoys a great, fresh salad with lots of options.

When I called to ask for a resolution, the manager on duty was unhelpful and rude. Instead of trying to remedy the issue, she offered to write my name down and give me a free extra salad dressing for a future visit. When I explained that didn't help my currently ruined dinner, she promptly asked me to hold please and then hung up the phone on me. Save your money and go somewhere where they value their customers.

It was semi-crowded but the line was short. This was our first time so it took us a while to survey the menu board. We asked a few questions as well and the staff was very helpful. There were two of us and we ordered as follows: - Melt Sandwich on a Croissant with Original Chicken Salad and Provolone Cheese plus a cup of Poblano and Chicken Soup - The Chick as a Sandwich on a Croissant with Original Chicken Salad plus a cup of Poblano and Chicken Soup - Large Fountain Drink - Each soup came with 3 packs of crackers - Each meal came with a small cookie THE FOOD In short, we love it. the sandwiches were great. My wife's croissant was toasted and I had my croissant not-toasted. I tried her's and I liked it more. It added a bit of crunch and more depth of flavor. The original chicken salad was great. But guess what? They have 15 varieties! We'll try other one's on our next visit. The soup was real tasty. It had just a small amount of kick to it as well. The consistency had a bit of thickness to it but not too much. We enjoyed it. The small cookie they serve with each meal was very sweet and tasty. OTHER They use an order number system where you're given an order number sign that you place on your table. Staff delivers your order to your table along with silverware. A holder with napkins are on each table. They also have a staff member that constantly roams the store, clearing plates and such from tables and confirming that everything is well with your meal. Nice touch and the woman was quite pleasant. I downloaded their app and signed up for their rewards program. I'm not sure just yet, what and how much you earn as a function of your spend. I did earn a dollar off my next order for doing their online survey. The info on the survey is at the bottom of the receipt. I ended up going back up to the order counter before we left to purchase a small container of their pimento cheese product. I was able to use the one dollar discount too. See you next time Chicken Salad Chick!
