Super busy place and parking is definitely a premium in this area. Once we found a spot I love the outdoor little garden area. We ordered empanadas (which are really large) both beef and chicken. The beef was much better than the chicken. The chicken just had an odd seasoning. They were also pretty greasy. The sauces though were not something I would try again. The one tasted like Thousand Island Dressing, the next a hot mustard and the last was very mayonnaise like. The sangria was very good and probably would have ordered another but the line here moves SUPER slow. I would come back but mostly to try the sides and it is hard to predict because they do selll out of things.

This is a great hidden gem in Dunedin. You order at a window and sit outdoors. The patio looks very authentic Mexican jungle ish with beautiful plants all around. The service was very quick and efficient. Not a ton of English speaking servers but that's okay- we managed just fine. The broasted chicken was literally so moist and delicious. It had an amazing semi spicy favor. I also had the corn on the cobs and beans. Those beans...yummm!! Also topped it off with a sangria which I HIGHLY recommend. It was not busy at all but if you want an authentic meal in Dunedin without all the touristy crowds- this place is for you.

Came back to try it again and was impressed all over! Service was quick and food was served fresh. Plenty of outdoor seating and covering. Definitely try the empanadas and rotisserie chicken! So delicious.

Jadin de Pollos is a whole vibe. Loved the casual atmosphere with friendly staff. There seemed to be a bit of a language barrier when ordering food but it is manageable. Food was delicious, especially the plantain. Chicken had good flavor, just not a lot of it. Whatever the fruit drink I ordered was yummy and cold. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. It has an artistry shop attached so you can buy some Bolivian art. Don't let the construction in front deter you as it is temporary.

The chicken was amazing, so flavorful! Yucca fries were so crispy and yummy, and the plantains and fries were delicious. The sauces they serve it with were great too! I ordered the passion fruit drink and it was so refreshing, perfect for a summer day.

Casual ambiance... lots of outdoor seating and fun Latin music playing in the background. Walking distance from downtown Dunedin! They specialize in chicken and mine was amazing. You can order a partial or full chicken. I got 1/4 chicken with plantains and rice! The price wasn't bad either ... my total was $17 with a soda. Friendly staff, too. ¡Muy bien!

Had a chance to visit this place, the place it self is pretty cool, open with different tables where you can definitely enjoy a nice night out. The people and staff were super friendly. I would say though the food was not as good as I expected, the chicken was on the dry side and lacked seasoning. I also had the empanadas and rice and beans, and must say the feedback was the same. Not very flavorful. For dessert I tried the flan and it just wasn't something I would recommend, specially if you onow flan. It was definitely disappointing because this felt like such a cool place. I think I would give it another shot because I really liked the service there.

Great lunch at this local gem #jardindepollos in Dunedin. The chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. I liked that they served it with sides of two creamy dipping sauces: one mild and one spicy. Delicious The fried yucca was tasty. And I loved the bite I had of my husband's cheese empanada. Both of these were perfectly crispy. And our sides of beans and corn were good too. The outdoor oasis ambience and cheerful service made for a fantastic meal especially on another beautiful day in the #tampabay #yelptampabay And my friend said next time we need to try their Homemade Sangria

Had an amazing experience here! Came on a Sunday afternoon! Parking in back. Food was delicious! We ordered the half chicken, Chicken bowl & beef empanada. The meat was seasoned so good! Left feeling super full! Great portions! Have beer available! They have high chairs for kids! Loved the atmosphere! Cute decor and great music playing to set the vibe. There is even a little furniture store attached! Service was great! English is not their first language so be kind!

Ran out of chicken? Like what? Yet they remain open. Ridiculous. They do this often, according to other customers there.

When I entered, there was only one person waiting for food and the manager owner. Whoever told me that they only had takeout available because they didn't have a server. Then he stated that if I wanted to eat in, I could order in this eat at the table just nobody would be able to serve me. I said that was all right. He was nice enough. We didn't talked about whether I wanted hot sauce or not and I said yes I do. He brought out a bottle of their homemade hot sauce so I'm ready to go. I ordered two of the Birria Tacos with shrimp and a Birria quesadilla with shrimp. I have to say that the services really excellent the gentleman was very friendly open. Ask how my day was going. Ask what I was planning to do for the day. The food was around $33 and you can see the amount I got for that price. Well, now it's time to try it. Started with the tacos ate the first one just dipping it in the sauce and it was good then I added the hot sauce. They're special sauce and that has a hit to it. It is not too hot so that you can't eat it, but it will clear your sinuses I like it. Hot sauce is the way to go. both the quesadilla and tacos was great having a broth adds to the flavor plus with the tiny Ines of the hot sauce magnificent. Well, now I'm going to finish my food and I will give this place 4 1/2 stars.

You can watch boats cruise by while you eat. The best spots are on the open outdoor deck or at a table next to the large windows. Inside, the dining room is decorated in a Mediterranean style. The famous historic 1905 salad originally created in 1905 was made table side by Tossing 4 cups of chopped iceberg lettuce, 1/2 cup julienned ham, 1/2 cup julienned Swiss cheese, 1 ripe chopped tomato, and 1/2 cup green Spanish olives. Top with Romano cheese, Worcestershire sauce, fresh lemon juice, and a tangy garlic dressing. The flavor is great and it's a nice light healthy option. 9/10 The Ropa Vieja was Originally introduced to Cuba by Spanish sailors. The name means "old clothes" because the choice beef is shredded, sautéed and simmered with onions, green peppers and tomatoes. Served with platanos and white rice. 9/10 The Shrimp Salteado came with Jumbo shrimp sautéed in exra-virgin olive oil, sliced Spanish onions, green peppers, fresh garlic, mushrooms, diced potatoes, chorizo and red wine. Suggest valet for $6 or a couple of trips around the lot to find a spot. We sat outside, which was enclosed and heated and your are right on the water. Super cool and great views. We started off with the toasted bread and butter and the devil crab croquet. Not a fan - full of crab but the flavors didn't sit well and really needed some type of sauce to pair with it - we only had hot sauce. The original salad - is a must we shared it across four. It's made table side has cheese and olives in it and was really good. We got ours with a side of shrimp. Main courses - Cuban - it's a classic sandwhich which we shared. Comes with fried plantains which were ok. Again would have been better with some kind of sauce to dip it in. Steak Salteado - good flavor l, was expecting thin sliced steak and it was more like stew meat. Paired with rice and was good. Palomilla - would be better as the sandwhich version. Again this one needed a sauce for dipping. Shrimp "Al Ajillo" - this is a must and the oil garlic mix is perfect for dipping you toasted bread.

I'm genuinely surprised to see such ratings for Indi's Chicken. I went in expecting a simple,…read moreno-frills spot serving good old-fashioned fried chicken and classic sides. That sounded great to me. Unfortunately, the food, portions, and pricing were all disappointing. A three-piece chicken meal with two sides runs around $13-$14, and the pieces are small. Two of my three pieces were very small drumsticks. The meal doesn't include a drink, and if you just want water, you have to buy a bottle. The sides also come in very small portions. I ordered the 3 piece spicy chicken with baked beans and potato wedges. The seasoning on the chicken had a decent flavor, but it wasn't spicy at all. The bigger issue was that the chicken was extremely dry. The larger piece of fried chicken was especially bad, there was barely any meat in it. Most of it was over-fried, hardened breading surrounding a lot of empty space. I kept biting into thick, crunchy breading and air while trying to find actual chicken. The baked beans were fine but nothing notable. I did like the potato wedges, which were probably the best part of the meal. You get three as a side, but they are at least fairly large. There are also several extra costs that add up. Sauces are sold separately, the meal doesn't include a drink, and there's an additional 3% charge if you don't pay with cash. All in all, I really don't understand the high ratings. You can get better fried chicken at plenty of fast-food restaurants, or even from Walmart or Publix, for less money, with larger portions and more options. Even if you're specifically looking for a no-frills local chicken spot, this doesn't feel like a good value. You pay more, get less, and, based on my visit, the quality isn't there. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
