First of all, the place is absolutely adorable. It was a packed Sunday morning around 11 a.m. Only one tiny table was left inside, though there were a couple outside too. Honestly, on a beautiful Miami morning, I wouldn't have minded sitting outdoors at all. What really stood out, though, was the service. Gabriela, our hostess and waitress, was wonderful. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind with a huge smile. She walked us through the menu, answered questions about dishes I didn't recognize (it's a Venezuelan spot, after all), and made us feel completely taken care of. Even more impressive was that she seemed to be the only waitress on duty yet never came across as flustered or hurried or anything other than pure sunshine! I ordered my longtime favorite, the arepa perica, just like I used to when I worked nearby, along with a fresh-squeezed orange juice and a chicken empanada to try. My father ordered the desayuno criollo. Everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful, the plating thoughtful, and the flavors delivered across the board. The space was lively and full of families, making it a great Sunday brunch spot.
