This was my first time here. They have pretty decent happy hour offers Monday through Friday. I forget when it starts but it ends at 6pm. Think it might start at 3pm? They have $6 appetizers and specials on certain draft beers. Some were half off, some were $2 off but no specials on bottles. I assumed the bottles had specials too so I was bummed after I had my 3rd bottle and then found out mine were not part of the special. We had the buffalo mozzarella fries and they were AMAZING. The service at the bar was ok. Not overly friendly but they kept your drinks full. Lots of tvs and the atmosphere was nice. We came around 5pm and got the last two seats. Seemed difficult to get a seat at the bar but that could also be because it was a Friday night at happy hour. We would probably come back here for another happy hour. read more

Parking lot was packed on a Thurs night, but we were sat without a wait. Our waitress didn't have any patience for our kids when they tried to order themselves. Apparently there is a kids area (which I saw from reading other reviews), but no one said anything to us about that. Also, just asking for "nachos with cheese only" seemed like a burden. Service here is always fast, the Buck Burger as well as the lobster mac n cheese (if they still have it) are out of this world and everything else is pretty good as well. Gets loud on big game nights but that's to be expected, it is half a sports bar. read more

My wife and I stopped here recently and we were both pleasantly surprised. We had the Buck burger, wings, onion soup, onion rings and maybe a few Long Island Iced Teas. I generally don't have a hard time finding something wrong with an establishment but I have to say we both thought it was great from start to finish. This was my first time here, and it was okay. The staff all seemed overly friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. We came here for more of a meal than "drinking". I wasn't really impressed with the food. I ordered the Crab Mac & Cheese which was tasty, but was presented very poorly and quite expensive for what it was. No side dishes or anything was included, just the entree. The pasta dish my friend had was also good, but nothing real unique. The beer selection is enormous, which is obviously the main draw here. You obviously don't really come here to have a "Miller Lite" type of beer (although you certainly could). The few drinks I did have were excellent, but that is for a different review site. I will definitely return on more of a "bar night", but would get the "finger food" selections as opposed to a full meal. read more

I have mixed reviews about this place because we had two totally different experiences here in a couple of days. The first night my wife and I went, and sat at a high table by the bar. The service was good, the beer selection was also good. We shared a buger, a salad and a fried mozzarella appetizer. It was awesome, the bar crowd was nice, some nice conversations, etc. We talked about maybe bringing the kids back with us, although the game room really isn't anything but vending machines to suck dollars from my pocket. Crane games, the flashing win a play station game, etc. Two days later I went back with some friends, excited to share my new local find.be sat at the same table next to the bar. I ordered a chicken cheese steak, and couldn't finish it, it was so bad. The chicken they use is some kind of cubed, processed nasty meat that shouldn't be used in anything much less something called a cheesesteak in the Philly burbs. One guy got a burger, he was the only one who was happy. The beer was still good although our waitress knew nothing about the beer selection. Speaking of the waitress, I'm not sure where she was the whole time, we joked that maybe she had a second job at the gas station across the street. It seemed that we spent a good amount of time looking for her to get simple things like another beer or ketchup, or the answer to the the question " what is this meat on my supposed cheesesteak". The bar crowd was totally different too. I can curse with the best of them, but holy sh**! The profanity was deep and loud. I heard one guy call some woman a c*** several times before his buddy next to him fell off his bar stool, twice... Definetly not a place for the kids. Can't imagine I'd be back. read more

Overall poor experience. Miserable, unpleasant hostess, burger was burnt and underwhelming, mash potatoes had no taste and beer was relatively tasteless as well. Plenty of seating out by the bar yet they decided to seat us in the back of the family room near the bathroom surrounded by screaming children. Typical sports bar. If you haven't been, you're not missing anything. Draft beers: lazy bartenders (like everywhere anymore) that won't pour you a full pint. And then give you some attitude when you ask for a full glass. Leave way too much head in the glass. Nachos: Big plate, scant cheese and toppings. Most definitely not worth what they were charging. Will not return. Even my son, who will pretty much go anwhere with his buds, has put this place on his "will-not-return" list. Do yourself a favor and go up York Road a few hundred yards on the right and go to the Warwick Tavern. You'll get treated much better. read more

We just moved into this area and thoroughly enjoyed two trips here in our first week. We took the kids and family members who were in town and the second time. Both visits we had great service in which both ladies knew the menu, recommended drinks and didn't even have to write down our orders. Great atmosphere and everyone here was nice, will definitely be our "go to" spot. We tried different menu items each trip and raved over the fried perogies (I know, hard to mess that up). Our only request would be to season the salmon or add a sauce to it. The mixed drinks turned out fantastic, happy hour is a must do :) See you again soon!! read more

I went expecting a regular meal and for starters I ordered 2 pounds of the wings, and the crab mac and cheese, both were way better than my expectations. The kids devoured the wings and the crab mac and cheese didn't stand a chance. For my entree I went with the full rack of baby back ribs and they were perfect! Aside from the food our service was impeccable and even with me and the kids being so needy everything was a hole in one! Definitely going to make weekly stops especially because I than saw the weekday deals, and I cant wait to try the cheesesteak on tuesday and possibly a taco! read more

On St. Patrick's Day 2019 my husband and I stopped by the Jamison Pour House for a drink. We've lived in Jamison for 25 years and have been semi-regulars there since it opened. We both ordered Guinness beers from bartender Mike, who we are familiar with from the days when he worked at Tomatoes in the Barn Center. He served our beers in plastic cups. I asked for a glass since I do not like drinking out of plastic. Mike said he had no glasses. Meanwhile, a young gentleman next to me pointed out that there were many Guinness glasses right in front of us at the bar. My husband reached over the bar, grabbed a glass and poured my beer into it. We continued to enjoy ourselves and Mike said nothing until we asked for another drink. At that point he refused to serve us - acting like we had too much to drink, which was NOT the case. We left and will not be returning and will be sure to share this story with our Jamison friends. Sad that our local bar/restaurant is such a disappointment. read more

This restuarant/bar is clean and family friendly with an arcade area for kids. The bar is nice, with beautiful work done on the fireplace. TV's are everywhere. Service is OK and the food is good (although, the nachos are covered in cheese wiz and all the fun stuff is on the top layer only, so I don't recommend those...). Parking is good. It was a little loud the last time I was there because there was a live band/trivia night, but that's what you get when eating at 8PM! There's a deck area, but I haven't been out to see it yet. MY family and I attempted to have dinner last night at the Pourhouse. It was not good We waited over an hour to be seated and watched as parties after us were seated ahead of us I have been to the Pourhouse many times in the past but not in the future. My daughter finally went to the hostess and got us seated The service was slow and the table was against a corner so one chair had less than a foot of space till the chair hit the wall.the waitress was friendly but forget water, extra salad dressing, and fries on several orders. We eat here often and we have never had a bad experience. For sandwiches, wraps, bar food - this place rocks. Great for watching games, serve staff is wonderful. They do everything they can to accommodate folks with things that go "off menu" -- tailor things with switching around ingredients .... Their bruschetta is THE best. The Jamison Pour house really knows how to combine a bar type atmosphere with a family restaurant. The front area is great if you want a meal and you have the kids along, the bar and back room offer great high top table or bar seating for having drinks with the adults. I am all about going to local restaurants and I am very glad they turned this restaurant into a clean establishment. My husband and I went there for a Saturday night dinner with our daughter. The atmosphere was ok, but the main meal was subpar. I ordered the salad, it was reasonably priced and it was filled with mixed greens, over all the salad was excellent. My husband and I order a simple cheese burger. The burger was obviously frozen and used low grade meat. My husband and I both left most of the burger on the plate. Actually the burger was so bad, I was sick with stomach pains. The waitress never came back to ask us how our meal was and only gave us the check at the end. If she did come back I would have told her, but she was busy with other tables. Overall, atmosphere ok, service poor, and burgers absolutely terrible, but the salad was above average. I don't think we will be back. If you want a good burger, head north to Porterhouse outside of Peddler's Village, now that is a burger.. read more

Went there at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. No one was there to seat us, even though there was a sign that said to wait for seating. After about 8 minutes I went over to the bar to ask if someone was available to seat us. The bartender was a very rude young "lady" that answered me as if I was disturbing her. My husband and I waited for another moment, then decided that if just being seated was a preview of this place then what was the food and the service going to be like. I see from other reviews, that the help should be better trained in being courteous to its patrons. Won't be there ever again. First impressions are lasting. read more

Went for lunch today with family. Ordered special flatbread with chicken and feta and it was very dry. Chicken was like cardboard and had way too much feta. daughter ordered mussels which were sub-par and she didn't eat much of it. Service was awful, place was almost empty and waitress never came back to see how the food was or if we wanted refills on drinks (all six of us needed refills). Wow! Isn't it amazing how we can all eat at one spot and have such wildly diverging opinions? Of course, if you are just reviewing burgers and bun density coupled with wind factors and discounts amiss instead of the whole menu, I guess that leads to negative reviews. I was expecting the worst. Loud, kids running all over, high chairs and a menu that didn't satisfy my gastronomic needs. It was chosen by the pickiest eater I know and I am wondering what she found to like here. Well wonder no more. I literally ate my words and all my entree. We were a group of 8 so there were many items to review. Every dish looks like it's prepared for the Flintstones with gargantuan portions falling off the plate. Size doesn't matter unless quality of execution and taste are present. And it was. Grilled Chicken Sandwich was declared delicious. Two orders of barbecued Chicken also got raves. The server accommodated the diners with double vegetables instead of the mashed garlic potatoes. The barbecued ribs were Herculean in size with really crispy fries and Cole slaw. That portion could have been larger but a small detraction from a platter the two guys declared fantastic. The roast beef sandwich was gobbled up so it must have been good. And finally my vegetable risotto with grilled shrimp was just decadent. The risotto was AL dente, creamy and flavorful dotted with tomatoes and spinach and topped with 8 medium shrimp. It was enough to have a second meal the next day as was the barbecued chicken platters. This place is great and a really nice alternative in the 'burbs where good dining is hard to come by.
