The vibe was good. Our waitress was on top of everything. The food was "ok". The Mac and cheese did not come out with the panko breadcrumbs as described on the menu and was lukewarm. I was also told it didn't really taste good either, but the pics do look amazing. My sautéed pork potstickers were a little overdone, the sauce that came with them was pretty good. . The clams casino were fantastic. And the bang bang shrimp tacos were really good. I was disappointed getting my drinks in a plastic cup though. As I looked around the bar all the beer was served in glass. I guess I'm a drink snob the older I get lol. And the women's bathroom did not have any paper towels and the hand dryer did not work. Stopped here one random Thursday night and was shocked by how good the food was. I know its just bar food, but everything is cooked perfect and served hot! Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a Meetup Group to listen and dance to The Buzzer Band. There was a $10 charge just an fyi so that you come prepared. The place was packed so I opted to sit at the bar. Bartenders and waitresses were spot on and hustling the entire time. I ordered a house salad with grilled shrimp. It was huge and delicious! Just spent the afternoon chatting, laughing and dancing! If you are a female and you are reading this, you must go to the restroom and read the sign the owner put up. Long story short, it says if you are on a date and you don't feel comfortable to........ Every establishment should have this sign posted in women"s restroom. Stopped by to see the place after a few years as i saw they had added a deck. Positive notes, no longer a cigarette-friendly location but you can smell its legacy. It has a new deck but needs to bring the food to make it worthwhile to visit. Plenty of parking available. Neutral, needs to decide and elevate their presence by adding more TVs for sporting entente. Also needs to introduce more bands/entertainment if they want to be THE place in the area. Add more TVs to watch, live music, and DJs. The negative. Easy to point to...The food. It's terrible. Eat before you go or do not plan on eating there are at all. Go to McDonald's, Wawa or eat at home, The trash can nachos were not so good, and let us not even talk about the chicken tenders...they were more tenders than chicken. The chicken fell out of the "tenders" leaving a mass of deep-fried bread. The food prices are high as well for what you get... I will say this is kind of a sketchy pub bar, on the bar you can find a few pool table and a stage, so I imagine on some night they have some lived band or karaoke. The bad of this bar is that you allow smoking inside so you will end smelling like coming out from a casino or a gentlemen club. After one of my friends told me that he order a delivery once from this place and he was very satisfied with the big croquette I gave then changes. A croquette is normally a small breadcrumbed fried food roll containing, usually as main ingredients, ground meat, shellfish, fish, ham, cheese, mashed potatoes or vegetables, and mixed with béchamel or brown, but in this restaurant they have pretty bigs and also they are chicken one, they come with two sides with came wonderfully, they taste is very unique and delicious I totally recommend his for a mind course. Not a welcoming environment! Drove a long way to see a band only to discover that they were charging a cover for the band. We mentioned how that information was no where to be found despite several posts on social media promoting the band, and that having that information would've been appreciated in advance. Later, the owner stopped by to "apologize" only to turn it into a lecture about how he never thought to, that this band has a cover anywhere they play (untrue- we've seen them several times and never paid a cover at those venues) and that if we continued to disagree with him, he was going to throw us out. Now, he sought us out, we were sitting chatting between sets having a good time (we did pay the cover and were enjoying the band). During this time he also mentioned the covers that other area bars charge (guessing he knows that because THEY POST THEIR COVERS). When we said that his being there was ruining the night for us, he said he didn't want to do that, and then continued to tell us how our opinions were wrong. We have seen dozens of bands in dozens of venues throughout the Bucks, Montco, Chesco and Delco areas and have NEVER had as rude and disrespectful experience with any staff or employee - let alone the OWNER! Truly an appalling experience and one that makes me appreciate the experiences I have had at other venues with owners that care about their customers. I went on Saturday for the Buzzer Band. I paid the cover charge and found a table with a friend because the Meetup Group were not allowed to save seats for anyone. When we got up to dance our personal belongings were moved from the table by the manager and he gave our table away(someone from our group came out to the dance floor to tell us. When we went to make sure where are belongings were my sunglasses were not with them. I went to ask where my sunglasses were and why he moved them he said that it was because he needed to seat other people (who he assumed were ordering food but ended up that they did not). When I proceeded to tell him that he should have never touched our personal belongings he got irritated that I was questioning him. I said something else to him and he said he was going to have to ask me to leave. I said if I am leaving then he would have to give me back my 10 dollars, he hesitated and then said he would but I had to leave right then. I have never been treated so poorly before. When you charge a cover charge for a band I do not see how you can decide who can sit at a table and who cannot. The band started at 3pm which is neither lunch time or dinner time so I did not order food yet but was going to for dinner. As I was leaving I said you realized there are a lot of people that will never come back and he said that was fine he did not need them. If you get a good band to your establishment that means you want the business otherwise why would you bother. read more

If you have not been here since covid.. you need to try this place completely remodeled. You can charge your phone right at the bar. You can no longer smoke in here abs the menu is top of the line. You can bring the family. The staff is friendly thre clientele are very courteous and an outdoor deck is in thre works. You can get filet mignon seafood or just appetizers. Just came here for the first time in several years. Totally improved! The deck is gorgeous and so nice on a warmer fall day. Live music always nice. The menu looks great. I've only tried the dry rub wings and they're awesome! The outside bartender, Kate, is a doll. The bathrooms remind me of college days when your knees hit the stall door. Not a fan of that. Otherwise, it's so much better than when it was a Smokey dive bar. read more

Like several others have said... if you haven't been here in the past year or so, it is basically a completely different restaurant. The new deck is awesome - the tables are comfortable and each have an umbrella for shade. The outdoor bar is perfect. It's close by, so if you're at a table you don't have to wait long for service, and it's also comfortable to sit at. The chairs are comfortable, the bar itself is good quality and nice and big with a nice layout. The food here has always been decent, but seems better in my opinion - although it could be in my head. The new renovations have completely changed Harrigan's and I recommend it to anyone who previously avoided this place as an option for good food, good drinks, a nice atmosphere, good prices, friendly service. read more

Overall, I always have had a great experience. The cream of crab soup is amazing and thick enough for a full meal and well worth the $7-9. The updated atmosphere was an excellent from the last time I have been in. Going from a smoking bar, the non smoking is a more suitable environment. Christian the bartender was very intentitive. My husband and I first went to Harrigan's in 2022 to see A Shot of Southern, and the band did not disappoint. We went early to eat dinner and were very pleasantly surprised how good the food was...not typical bar food! My husband had the chicken parm sandwich with fries, and I had fish tacos, and both meals were delicious! The fries were probably the best we've ever had! We went back again in January 2023 just for dinner...not many bars I can say that about! My husband had the chicken parm with fries (again) and I switched to shrimp tacos, bang-bang style, and just like our first experience, the food was very tasty. Casual atmosphere and not too expensive. Would highly recommend for a casual night out, as we will be this Saturday with two other couples. read more

I love a good dive bar! Harrigan's was everything a dive bar should be, unpretentious, reasonably priced, and fun. I went there on a weekday night and had a fun time drinking and playing shuffleboard. In addition to the shuffleboard table they have a few pool tables and darts. Their food menu is pretty decent as well. I ordered some boneless wings here and enjoyed them. The buffalo bay sauce was really good. My boyfriend ordered a special which was sausage and peppers with pasta that he liked. There's not a ton of draft options, but enough one can find something. I was very disappointed with my visit to Harrigan's. I was looking for a restaurant with outdoor dining to take my niece to dinner. I searched online and found Harrigan's. I tried to call first to make sure outdoor dining was actually available but there was no answer and the mailbox was full. Since they advertised outdoor dining, I took a chance and drive 45 minutes to get there. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was that the outdoor patio was closed. Since I was already there and my niece was on her way I decided to go inside. Only one table was in use (although the bar was quite full) so I decided to stay. There was no host or hostess so I just stood there and waited, and waited and waited. I was never even acknowledged by anyone. When my niece arrived, and still being completely ignored, I decided to walk out. We went about a mile away to another bar and grill that actually had outdoor dining and had a very nice meal. Obviously, I can't comment on the food at Harrigan's because we never got that far. Needless to say, I would never go back. Who wants to travel to a restaurant only to stand there and be completely ignored? read more

I had my 50th birthday party here this past weekend. I had around 60 guests and everyone there treated me so good. The bartenders were fast and the waitress that we were given worked her a$$ off. The food was good and everyone had a GREAT time. The owner called me the next day before he boarded a cruise just to make sure that everything went well and that I was happy. I understand what some people wrote about it being a smoking bar and as a non-smoker, I did not find it that bad. This is the second time I was there for a party and I will 100% recommend this place and the people there to anyone and everyone. read more

Wow! The inside looks great and is brand new. The food is some of the best in the area (try the cheesesteak eggrolls for sure!). I LOVE Harrigans!! My waitress Lauren is the awesomest girl in the world! She does a great job! The music is good. Friday nights they have a dj. He doesn't do shout outs which sucks! If its someones bday do it. He's kinda rude. I hate going up to him to ask him to play a song. Saturday night they have a band. Food is sooo good, chicken caesar is awesome, great dressing! Mozz sticks, chicken fingers all good!! One year for my bday Doc the old owner got little debbie cakes with candles for me and sung happy bday! I loved him. His son took over the place now though.
