Large crowd but we got a table as soon as we arrived and then ordered at the counter. They have expanded the restaurant since we were here almost 3 years ago.

Plenty of toppings, good flavor, and that satisfying balance between crisp crust and gooey cheese. If I was only judging the pizza, this would be an easy 5-star review. But I like to branch out, so I added the fried ravioli to my order. That's where things dipped a bit. The flavor was nice, but the breading felt more like armor than a light coating, which made it harder to enjoy the filling inside. It wasn't bad, just a little heavy-handed compared to the otherwise spot-on pizza. So overall, I'd call it a mixed bag: stellar pizza that I'd happily order again, paired with an appetizer that didn't quite match the same level. If you go, stick with the pizza, it's the star of the show.

I ordered a small chicago deep dish with meatball, and green peppers. I only got through two pieces, but it was pretty good. My only issue is that there was not nearly enough meat in my pizza, but plenty of green peppers. I would suggest meat choices only to go with the tons of cheese, and sauce. I'll still be going back when I'm in the mood, because even though it isn't Lou's, or Giordano's, it's pretty scrumptious.
