Let me just start with Kimberly! She is an amazing bartender, and server who was very attentive. She was also very, very polite! Always a plus. The place isn't much inside, but it isn't bad either. Plenty of room for partys, and you won't feel crowded at all. OK, the food. I had a side Caesar salad which was delicious! Then came the pizza. I ordered a small chicago deep dish with meatball, and green peppers. I only got through two pieces, but it was pretty good. My only issue is that there was not nearly enough meat in my pizza, but plenty of green peppers. I would suggest meat choices only to go with the tons of cheese, and sauce. I'll still be going back when I'm in the mood, because even though it isn't Lou's, or Giordano's, it's pretty scrumptious. read more

The service was good and the stuffed pizza was delicious. We also ordered wings which I thought were pretty good as well. They have a small parking lot. We went on a Sunday evening and we were the only people in the establishment. Which was nice. The service was good. Our waitress was very friendly. They have a pretty cool bar area if you wanted to watch the game. The price of pizza was a little high. But it was definitely worth it and I would definitely go back again. I suggest if you're going to get the stuffed pizza that you eat it at the restaurant. I hear a lot of people who have had issues with the pizza when transporting it. read more

Gave it three shots. Just got worse each time. The deep dish was horrible. Ordered a pepperoni and sausage deep dish. We literally had four pieces of sausage and a few pepperonis. Way too much cheese. The waitress took the order, brought it to the table, and we never saw her again. She spent the whole time chatting to the bar tender. Super friendly service. Nice atmosphere, with a full bar and the game going on on the screen behind it. The pizza was good, not great in my opinion but decent...The thin crust was more of a hand tossed, but the taste was good and still had some crisp. Most importantly I could tell it was homemade dough and not some frozen disc. The deep dish was good, we tried both. Overall decent pizza, we'd go back. I order a lot of food for the office and I just used Nancy's pizza for the first time for this purpose. Two key reasons: they offer GF crust; they will deliver to downtown Springfield. A huge pizza order was placed the other day - 6 pizzas total. One deep dish, 3 thin crust, a couple GF. Everything arrived on time; all our food was hot when we received it; ordering over the phone (preferred) was a breeze with the help of a friendly employee there. This is one of my favorite pizza spots in Springfield.. I really don't like any other pizza. Mostly because it reminds me of Chicago pizza..What I enjoy most is the consistency. I can always expect the food to taste the same. I've never experienced bad customer service. They send coupons and have a loyalty incentive discount, as in been a customer for years and sometimes get a few dollars off.. not sure if this is only a location thing. Today I ordered the largest family size thin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza which ran me about $31. Of course I'll be back! They have indoor seating and servers. It's a comfortable dining space that is separate from the cash registers. I've come with party of 6. Not sure if the dining is open due to Covid at this time. The deep-dish personal pizza (pepperoni, bacon, Italian beef, and garlic) was great. I got food poisoning from a famous place in Chicago and was scared to try deep-dish again, but this place saved the whole cuisine. They have a unique cooking method for their deep-dish pizzas. The manager (or owner of the franchise?) told me they have some sort of contraption they put over top of the pie that cooks the pizza all the way through - this is great in my book, as that lessens the probability of food borne illness. The place that starts with a G in Chicago does not, making this cooking method pretty unique. The buffalo cheese waffle fries I had were bomb, and I found myself licking the plate! I almost wanted to keep it to dip my pie in it. The meal all in all was around $20 and well-worth it. But the real gems besides the food are the staff. They were so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and took their time to recommend me the unique Springfield eats that I can't get anywhere else; horseshoes are looking to be on the menu tomorrow! My favorite part of traveling for work is meeting nice people such as the people at Nancy's. The place was very clean and modern. It's also conveniently next to a Krispy Kreme and a McDonald's; I got my fix for a donut and coffee in the same parking lot. read more

Overpriced garbage - I had heard this place was good and i ordered to go, we ordered a thin crust pizza with just a few toppings, the entire crust was stuck to the bottom of the box, we also ordered some cheese sticks, which were completely uncooked. Was looking forward to carry-out deep dish treat all week on payday, and I've had Nancy's pizza at a different location and it was delicious. It rivaled Giordanos' from Chicago. I Ordered from the Springfield IL store, a large supreme deep dish cooked "well done" and a small veggie deep dish with double spinach (apparently didn't come with spinach originally) totaling $62.xx. The supreme lacked product inside the o Lt thing I could taste was sauce and onion. The crust was undercooked despite ordering well done and a bit doughy. The veggie didn't have any spinach that I noticed and there was so much cheese it balled up in my mouth like chewing a wad of gum. I used to run a pizza shop and know proper specs on toppings, this failed miserably I'd say the food this time was mediocre at best. Not horrible, just for $62 I expected a WOW factor. I love Nancy's Pizza! I'm from Chicago and grew up ordering from Nancy's, I was SOOO excited when one opened up in Springfield... HOWEVER... Their restaurant (although beautiful) lacks quality service and their mozzarella sticks SUCK! They bake them, which leaves them tasting like hot cheese wrapped in sticky dough which is just GROSS! And if you complain, there's only a "Sorry, yes they're baked." No offer to take them back and remake them the right way. Do they NOT have a deep fryer back there? They have great deep dish tho. Their pizza is just like the original Nancy's in Chicago! I highly recommend ordering for pick up or delivery, skip the dining in. Worst wait staff ever. read more

Pretty good pizza but not really on par with deep dish from Chicago. I ordered a medium with green peppers, spinach and tomatoes, uncut.
