The dentist is awesome as long as you don't lose your insurance and can't pay for an appointment out of pocket or pay for the oral surgeon they send you to because they won't pull a tooth. Lost my insurance last April. Five days ago I woke up grinding the crap out of my tooth. Couple days later, ran the marathon on Sunday by the end of it my tooth hurt so effing bad I was crying. Couldn't sleep couldn't recover from running 26.2 miles, in so much pain. Up all night called at 7:30am to see if they could see me. Susan the office manager proceeded to be mad at me for not cancelling an appointment last April 2019 and that I owe $100!! I'm crying in pain and that's what she says. Okay cool. She says that was the tooth you were suppose to take care of last year and then proceeds to give me a lecture. Haven't slept can't eat and just finished running a marathon... no sympathy. She was rude. I asked if I could be seen today I'll pay any balance and she said well since we don't know what tooth it is... I said you just lectured me about not fixing it last year.. oh okay can you come in in 20 mins. I did. She was rude when I got there. Caught her and the Dentist talking about me while I was around the corner. He wouldn't give me any pain meds. Said it will only mask the pain... pretty sure he was trying to teach me a lesson..?! Finally ended up at the ER til 1:30am. Went to another dentist when they opened at 9am that gave me pain meds and I slept 13 hours last night. Hopefully the new dentist can pull it on Friday. I definitely hope you choose another dentist or just make sure you are not human and don't make a mistake by missing an appointment or losing your insurance or anything else us humans do cause we are not perfect. I am not perfect. Only God is and I truly needed help and didn't get it here. Won't ever go back. read more

My dentist of 25 years finally retired. I was devastated because I HATE dentists and never thought I would find one that I like again. I LOVE THIS DENTIST and his office staff. My husband has been going to Dr. Trichak's office since he was a kid. He suggested I go there after not seeing a dentist in 5 years. My last experience was horrible and I never wanted to see a dentist again! However, I gave it a try and now go every 6 months! Dr. Trichak and his staff are awesome. yes. he likes to talk about foods that cause cavities. (tangerines and tangelos, for example.) over and over again. which is annoying, but also kind of funny. he won't ever make you feel like a jerk because you haven't been to the dentist in a while. and he won't make you yank out your wisdom teeth just because everyone else in their 20s has them out. although, do note that he doesn't offer friday or late afternoon (after 4 p.m.) appointments, which isn't the most convenient. the office staff is also excellent. read more

Dr. Trichak and his staff have made going to the dentist something I actually enjoy. His approach is refreshing because I don't feel like I am being sold some new found dental technique or process to increase revenue on every visit. My previous dentist made me feel like I was walking into an auto shop and being sold services I didn't know even existed. I had a serious health issue earlier in my life and needed restorative work done but didn't want to spend 40K on my teeth. Dr. Trichak did a thorough exam, offered multiple treatment plans with varying costs and the honest plus/minus for each one. Dr. Trichak, or if you want to be less formal, Jim, is awesome! I've had such a nightmare with finding proper dental care in Phoenix until I found his office, and now I actually enjoy going to the dentist! From the front desk to the dentist and his hygienists, they are all very professional, friendly and helpful. As you are getting a cleaning or any other procedure, they try to elaborate on what they are doing and why they are doing it so you get a better understanding of your dental health. Rather than trying to sell you whitening kits or orthodontic treatments, Dr. Trichak is very conservative and doesn't focus on the money he can get from his patients. In fact, he and his staff are extremely complementary and don't make you feel terribly guilty for getting a cavity or not flossing. The office and exam rooms are clean and airy as well. I have recommended coworkers, friends and family and they all agree that this place is the best! read more

Usually I'm skeptical about reviews, but I have been wow'ed by this staff, and the non-nonsense approach of this terrific dentist! I have been going to see Jim Trichak for many years and my family goes there as well. I do not have any work done because my teeth are pretty good, I only go for cleanings. I have enjoyed every experience I have had there with Jim but on the other hand the staff is HORRIBLE! They are rude, unpleasant to talk to, and not helpful! I do not recommend going here because of them!!! I missed ONE appointment and they charged me $50 and I have NEVER missed an appointment, EVER. I spoke to Susan the Office Manger and explained my situation, she was rude to me, she was NOT helpful, not understanding during this hard time and not willing to work with me. I asked to talk to Jim about the situation she said she would get back to me, when she did she left a voicemail, never said thank you or anything pleasant on the voicemail when she called me back (just hung up at the end). Jim has done a fantastic job with analyzing my teeth and taking care of me. He is definitely recommended but should consider getting a new staff! read more
