Dr. Bader is an excellent dentist. I've had four or five different dentists over the years and…read moreshe's far and away the best of them. I like that they are more interested in my teeth than selling me up-sale add-ons like most dentists. Not that she wouldn't recommend additional treatment if appropriate. Dr. Bader has done this when I needed laser treatment on my gums and a great result for what it cost. I've been her patient since 2005 and have never had a bad experience in treatments, billing, getting my appointment on time, etc. I just looked through the reviews and noticed a 1 star rating from a patient that had a problem with their dental insurance plan and felt like I needed to comment on it. I felt it unfair. Having an unusual dental insurance plan and a billing problem doesn't warrant a one star rating. Regardless of which dentist, if you have an insurance plan with a limited network, the question you would ask when setting up your appointment is, "Do you accept XYZ insurance plan AND are you in XYZ provider network?". Further, most insurance plans have a list of dentists in their network, so why wouldn't you take five minutes and check it? Knowing Dr. Bader, she'd try to figure it out, if possible, and her office manager would tell you if their practice is out of network for that plan. I've never had a problem with billing at Lake Pleasant Dentistry but have always had typical insurance plans such as Delta or MetLife or something common like that. They even offer various payment plans if you have to stretch payments over several months.

Top-Tier Dental Care!…read more After a lifetime of dental neglect that started in childhood, finding a dentist I could truly trust was incredibly important to me. Growing up, dental care wasn't a priority in my household, and that carried over into adulthood. I also developed a fear of dentists, especially after experiences with the more corporate side of the dental industry. When I found Smile Science in 2025, everything changed. From the very beginning, I knew I was in the right place for the extensive dental work I needed. The dentists are not only highly skilled, but genuinely kind, compassionate, and caring. They take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. For someone who has struggled with dental anxiety, that level of care means everything. I highly, highly recommend Smile Science to anyone looking for exceptional dental care. The entire experience has been amazing, and I couldn't be more grateful to have found them. 10s across the board!

I've been here twice for teeth cleanings and for concerns about sensitive gums, receding gums, and…read morecavities. I was happy with the recommendations and care I received, and my hygienist did a great job with my cleanings. I had an appointment scheduled earlier this year in February, but I had to reschedule due to a work obligation. I then booked another appointment for April 2nd, which was canceled about an hour beforehand because my hygienist was suddenly unavailable. While I understand that things happen, I had already taken the day off work, so it was a little frustrating. I called to reschedule again and was given an appointment for Tuesday the 28th. The office called me yesterday morning while I was at work to confirm, but I forgot to respond after I got home--it was a very busy day and it slipped my mind. They called again this morning, and the same thing happened. After work today, I went to confirm through an email they sent yesterday, but I saw that one of the staff had texted to say my appointment had been canceled. Because of this, I will no longer be returning. Canceling an appointment that was still four days away due to a one-day delay in confirmation feels like an unreasonably short grace period. If timely confirmation is that important, it should be clearly communicated in voicemails, emails, and text messages.

I have been through several cleaning and maintenance appointments and I start ortho in January. So we have received a good amount of services from them and attended many appointments with them. Everyone is always awesome! The front desk is always friendly and knowledgeable. They are always very on top of paper work and billing procedures. A human answers the phone every time I've ever called (during business hours)!! It amazing. This office gives me the feeling of dentists offices from the past where we weren't patient number blah blah blah.. They've always treated Brian and myself like family and give us the feeling they really care. They know our names and although we typically visit separately because of our schedules, everyone asks "how's Brian?" or "how was the wedding?" Signaling that they've taken the time to remember things about their patients and care about our lives outside of just billing our insurance. This is especially evident in long time employees like Nedra. This woman is amazing. She has a firm but loving way of letting you know what to focus on while not making you feel judged or put down. She relates with empathy while pushing for better from you in regard to your oral hygiene. I so enjoy going here and am very much looking forward to partnering with them on my ortho journey!!

I came in expecting a cleaning. I was advised that I needed to first get a x-ray and then I learned…read morethat they don't have time to do a cleaning today and I'll have to schedule to come back a second day. The dentist came in they gave me glasses because the light was advised to be bright, the dentist didn't spend more than 30 seconds looking at me before he said okay you're done, there were not any lights turned on I felt like how could he possibly have done a thorough assessment. I had to schedule a second appointment for a cleaning and I knew I had to take care of a cavity so they told me that if I come in for my cleaning the next day, I can't take care of my cavity because they're tend to work half days on Thursday which I don't know how they can expect that to work for anyone that has a day job. I can't take three consecutive days off just to accommodate the schedule of these dentists. When I explain this to the dentist he promptly said, fine you can go somewhere else. That did not come across as great service and I'm not satisfied with this dentist. I would not recommend going here. Secondly I asked for a quote on my son's wisdom teeth, they printed me a price that was over $3,000. We recalled getting a quote for the same thing 6 months ago and the cost had doubled. I had to ask about this specifically before they realized that they use a different billing code this time and unless I mentioned that the price was different I doubt they would have brought it up. Also if you have a credit with this dentist they will not tell you, unless you ask. This is not a good experience at this dentist. UPDATE: after a comment was made by the business about calling to correct my bad experience, the practice manager advised that she had not read my review and that's her marketing team and they don't have time to read reviews and they don't care about one-star reviews. I questioned everything in my review and there was not any accountability made or apologies for the experience. They said that they only staff one hygienist and if they don't have time, you don't get a cleaning. Don't expect quality service and don't expect accountability from this office for their bad service. UPDATE 2: if you call and give them feedback they will cancel your next appointment without even calling you. They do not want another opportunity to make things right. They ended up deciding they wanted to cancel the relationship with the entire family of three of us in the household that went to this dentist. They didn't care that my wife was halfway through her orthodontic Care. I wanted to give them an opportunity to earn my business back so I kept my appointment but they canceled it without any communication. And then after all of that they text me the same week to ask me about calling their office for scheduling my cleaning.

When I called Noll Family Dentistry yesterday to cancel my next appointment and request my films…read moresent to a different provider, I commented "if Dr. Noll is interested to learn why I won't return after one visit, he's welcome to reach out". He chose not to call, prompting me to write this review. As part of my visit on 9/24, before the cleaning I specifically went there for, the dental assistant performed a gum charting exercise (if not familiar, it's an easy Google lookup to describe what the charting numbers mean). For each tooth, she read out to her assistant 4s and 5s. A 12 year old failing implant had a much higher reading I'm sure was accurate. Dr. Noll told me I need a deep-cleaning to the tune of approximately $600...I subsequently saw my periodontist a few days later to evaluate the old implant. He performed another charting that revealed 2s and 3s. I then asked if I'd benefit from a deep cleaning, and I guess because of professional courtesies between doctors, he reluctantly told me I won't benefit from the procedure. It was the difference between what I was told at this appointment and what my periodontist said that led me to move on.
