The best staff from the dentist to the receptionist. Clean and comfortable. Easy to schedule appointments, too.

The entire staff is friendly, professional, and truly cares about their patients' comfort. Dr. Mardin Yokhana is exceptional--knowledgeable, gentle, and very thorough in explaining everything. He made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire visit and took the time to answer all my questions, which really helped ease any anxiety. The office is clean, modern, and has such a calming atmosphere. I honestly felt relaxed the whole time, which is rare for a dental visit! I highly recommend Sparkle Dentistry to anyone looking for excellent dental care, amazing customer service, and a doctor who genuinely puts patients first. Thank you, Dr. Yokhana and the Sparkle Dentistry team, for such a great experience!

Not a bad place. Everyone is pretty nice here and all that. I came here because my usual dentist…read moreisn't in network and personally I feel charges way too much for his services. This place is great. Some of the tools and machines I think are a bit dated and not "new". But hey if it works it works. I came and had a root canal and will get a crown in a bit. I've had a root canal before unfortunately and this one wasn't anything bad. It took a bit longer than what I'm used to. But I do think this facility is more thorough than my usual dentist. They measured the length of the root and made sure all the infection was out. My tooth was hurting due to infection. Dr. Conrad kept asking me if it hurt in case he needed to give more novocaine. The temporary I have right now isn't bad. I feel the temporary is very fitting and it feels like my normal tooth. My prior temps definitely felt like a temp. I received great instructions on how to take care of my mouth now. I was told in my full exam I had gum inflammation, which surprisingly my normal expensive dentist never brought up and never hinted at the fact my gums were bad. So this was also a new learning experience. Disclaimer that my teeth are not the best at all but no one was judgmental and are more focused on fixing the teeth than anything. The only slight problem was the scheduling team. I like the front office ladies. They're nice. But I move an appointment up because I was in pain but I guess my normal appointment time wasn't canceled? And then I also called to move the root canal from Thursday to Wednesday but on Wednesday all I got was an exam instead of the root canal. So I think they just need to communicate better. I mean on Wednesday Dr. Conrad wasn't working and they had a temp dentist so I guess it wasn't horrible. But if I move the appointment up I would hope it includes everything we're doing in the appointment. But great place. And I'm so glad I found this office. It's also close to where I live and also where I work too which is nice.

I read the reviews before and I agree with the whole terrible experience from start to finish…read more Scheduling was a nightmare. The miscommunication for one about what I was there for and what was expected as I was booked for two different things (different time slots must I add) was miscommunicated. Their limited availability makes it extremely difficult to get in is another factor and plays a huge role in this review. I get there and staff seem friendly. The X-ray part was a nightmare as she seemed inexperienced and could not get the images right. I sat in the room for a very long time (confused because I was there for something else as well hoping they did not forget that) when it came time to be seen to go "over" things without disclosing too much personal info on here that these things were not mentioned and seem to have been dishonest and tackled on to treatment plan without properly understanding their patients needs (me in this case obviously). They send someone else to come in the room and go over all the breakdown and of course that's when you have the questions and now the Dentist is conveniently not available. Also, this becomes more of an argument which just came across as careless , unprofessional, and at this point I could not see myself trusting this dentist. I thought well- since I've already put the time and $ into this place let me get one thing done and switch / get second opinion about the rest of my treatment plan. They offered me an appointment for the following Wednesday (they are only open Mon- Wednesday) I arrange to get out of work at this time. I am waiting to hear back to confirm appointment as well as have a question answer regarding something that was important to me and my care before moving forward. Well, I get two different excuses from two different staff. Let me tell you-- the things I heard there is no evidence based reasoning as to why they should have told me this in the first place and you would have to be a child or completely misusing something for this to even be a possibility, let's just say. Anyway , they then ask if they can cancel my appointment ( exactly a day before in the afternoon ) I said no I can't cancel I just took work off for this appointment. She kept saying the doctor would like to leave early we need you to come in the morning or reschedule for the following Wednesday mind you I just took off these two Wednesdays. I explained to her that I did not take off the morning from work that I took off the afternoon. She did not seem to care and just kept saying the doctor would like to leave early. Anyway, this place is terrible. I got a second opinion somewhere else especially about the false information they provided me (which was something that I know would help me and my condition) and they are totally full of it and aren't in it to help people , they are in it for money. Sad to say. Choose a different dentist. Ruzanna Balyan is very dishonest and unprofessional. The only person I feel was at least honest and caring at this office was the individual that did my cleaning ( I wish I remembered his name).

I had been a patient at Artistic Dental for close to a decade. All of the hygenists are friendly,…read moreprofessional and do great work (shoutout to Valerie!). Dr. A was friendly and personable each time I saw her for my checkup and she also installed my second crown. John P. Dougherty, D.D.S., MAGD installed my first crown and during thought it was appropriate to make a racist joke about my New Mexican upbringing when he saw my x-rays and I mentioned I was born without wisdom teeth. If you're wondering what he said to me and in front of the tech when my mouth was numb, wide open and filled with tools: "It must be from all that inbreeding in New Mexico." I've always been under the impression that jokes are supposed to be funny. If he has the gall to say this while operating on a numb patient I can only image what "jokes" he has said when patients aren't around. If you'd like to know even more about Dr. Dougherty's character, the staff once told me he buys and resells Cybertrucks as a hobby. While I'm not a comedian, that joke writes itself. I didn't feel great leaving that day (despite my tooth issue finally being fixed) and let whomever answered the phone that afternoon know what happened. I didn't hear back at all from anyone, though Dr. A. did apologize next time I was in after I told her. The crown John P. Dougherty, D.D.S., MAGD installed that day lasted about 6 months before cracking and needing to be replaced, which he did (Dr. A was unavailable). Cut to eight months later and the crown cracked again and I've found myself using a new dentist office because John P. Dougherty, D.D.S., MAGD is more focused on his comedy career than his dental profession, neither of which he's very good at. I've had no issues with the crown Dr. A installed. If you're at all on the fence about Artistic Dental I'd recommend looking elsewhere, though I can't offer any tips on avoiding douchebag dentists with subpar skills. Maybe check how many Cybertrucks are in the parking lot.

The price was actually average but the dental work and followup were extremely problematic. The following is my email regarding the problems following my temporary crowns. I later discovered the website email address was not operational. Message to Dr. Rao, I left a message this morning (Saturday October 21) regarding my discomfort and problem with my temporary crowns. I assumed you would have an emergency number to reach you even though your office is closed. (It's very unusual for a medical/dental professional to have no after hours contact information). I had my temporary crowns done on October 11 and paid for them and the permanent crowns in advance as you requested. This has not been my usual payment experience. I returned on October 18 to have the temporary crowns smoothed as my tongue was irritated and had developed ulcers from the rough texture. Your assistant did most of the work. I started to explain to you how my bite was now off and my mouth felt out of alignment. You didn't appear to be concerned and no effort was made to rectify this situation. Observing my bite, it's apparent that the temporary crowns on the lower right side are higher, wider and unevenly matched to the bottom teeth on the left side. I have researched and discovered that temporary crowns should be adjusted so that the patient's bite is comfortable or if necessary, redone. I haven't been able to eat solid food for the past 10 days and my tongue is still irritated by the rough texture of the crowns. I'm very concerned that my permanent crowns will also be a poor fit. I need to have the temporary crowns adjusted to be the same height and similar width as the teeth on the other side of my mouth so that I am able to chew comfortably. I am unable to chew properly on the left side since I am missing a top tooth. My permanent crowns appointment isn't till November 8. I would appreciate having this dental problem corrected as soon as possible. Dr. Rao responded on Monday to the phone message I left on Saturday concerning my distress. He was apologetic and had me return again for another adjustment. He works on several patients at the same time and at one point needed to be reminded what we were working on. The permanent crowns were finally applied and the numbing needle was incredibly painful. My lips were horribly swollen for days as the extreme numbing lasted for hours and made me unaware that I was chewing on my lips, when eating. Finally the crowns were done and I was able to chew comfortably. The next problem was reimbursement from my Medicare insurance. Dr. Rao had said initially that as a courtesy he would fill out the paperwork. He sent a pre-approval but neglected to follow up with a completed and signed itemized bill. It's been almost 3 months and after hours of conversations with United Healthcare, I received a statement showing a $1000 reimbursement allowed. The paperwork included a signature required by the dentist and his filling out a form. I emailed the paperwork to his office and I spoke with his office representative Anna, who advised me not to pursue the payment because that would delay my getting reimbursement (?) She advised me to wait a few more weeks and said Dr. Rao was informed about this situation. I've had a lot of dental work done by different dentists over the years but this has been an unusually frustrating experience.
