This…read moreis the third year and did not know they were a premium Dentist and they could charge more than normal until I asked my insurance They do not say on their website or when you talk with them about charges that they are a premium Dentist. I was paying 27 for each cleaning now all of a sudden It went up to 77. Was told my charges for a filling procedure was 137 on my part. No one said that it would probably cost more 400 since they're a premier Dentist so after the insurance does not pay everything a premier Dentist charges then of course the patient has to pay it, but that should be warned to the patient so if they're limited income, they can make a decision on to do it or not since it was not necessary procedure. I think this is deceiving the public because since they've been dealing with Insurance a long time they know what they're gonna pay pretty much that's how it's always been from my experience. I never had to pay extra if I did it was a small amount. They should warn the patient that it could possibly be more. If you like to pay a lot of money go here, but there are places that you can get just as good care like marketplace smiles does the same procedure for way less. The cleanings here are a little strange they do it in an odd way and splash water all over you and it doesn't seem as though you even got your teeth, clean as good as other places. The procedure that they did went OK, but I was more sore, bruised in my mouth than any other procedure I've had. probably the prongs stretching my mouth. I will probably go back to marketplace smiles I only changed because my Dentist left and a new one came on that I was not comfortable with, but now they're gone. The higher price of premier probably scare people cause they rarely have anybody there as a customer any of the times I've come. they need to be more honest with the customers about being higher priced. This is not good for people on limited income to be deceived.

And to get a thorough cleaning of my teeth (typically much better than I can do at home). The doctor was nice enough, probably spent about five minutes looking at my teeth. He scratched up the back of my teeth, and they feel rough and irritating. The 'dental hygienist' was horrible. She basically just placed the tooth paste/polish on my teeth (while spraying me in the eyes and face multiple times) and shoddily flossed my teeth. She tried to rinse my mouth out, after spending less time brushing my teeth than I do at home, and couldn't even properly use the water sprayer. I had to rinse my mouth out in the bathroom as there was so much grit left in my mouth. My teeth feel worse than when I got there. I am extremely dissatisfied with this dental office. Need another cleaning to fix what they did, would NOT recommend this office.

I was not seen at my first appointment because they found I was pretty pregnant, which I understand. They gave me a medical form and ask me to go to my ob/gyn to sign. I mentioned I can provide my ob/gyn's office number and fax number so that we can get the form back quickly. But the front desk person refused to do so and insisted on having me drive to the office or scan and print and have my ob to print, sign, scan and email back. I had to initiate a call to my ob office and they picked up the phone quickly and was willing to quickly get the form faxed back, but they need the dental office's specific clear form. I asked the stuff to talk to my ob office on the specific form or items they need to clear, but she again rudely declined to talk to my ob office. I also found very uncomfortable when the dentist told me by turning half of his body on his way out that "I couldn't see you because you are pregnant" . They way he communicated with me made me feel I am so at fault for being pregnant and inconvenient. I could just never go back there, but due to location convenience as I live nearby, I decided to give them another chance. I had to cancel my third appointment and thereafter rescheduled the appointment because my last minute work meeting conflict; however, they told me on the phone that they will charge me 50 bucks for cancellation which I have never seen any written policy or being told before that I have to pay this cancellation. I am not going back !

Even though I have unsubscribed multiple times and called Anderson Dental at least 3 other times asking them to remove me from their emails and visit reminder calls, despite their reassurance they would stop them, I continue to receive reminders. Today I received yet another email from them. We are entrusting our health providers with our contact information. They should have that information protected in a way that they can control its use for their business. If you are a healthcare provider who has a 3rd party doing your emails and reminders, your contract should make it clear that they have a process for removing numbers and emails. Otherwise, it is your business that has failed to protect your patients.
