I ordered a smoothie bowl and a smoothie last night on uber eats and the store closed before my delivery person could even get there (this isn't nauticals bowls fault as I had ordered an hour prior so it was an uber eats issue) well this morning I woke up and decided to reorder it because I still wanted it. I just got my order and tried sticking my straw into my smoothie to which it broke because it's frozen. At first I was like nice they were keeping it cold for me but no. I then go to eat my smoothie bowl and realize it's also frozen. BECAUSE THEY TOOK MY ORDER FROM LAST NIGHT AND FROZE IT AND WHEN I RE ORDERED THEY JUST TOOK IT OUT OF THE FREEZER AND DELIVERED IT TO ME. what "fresh" company even does that? I don't like when my fruit is frozen and not only that but I'm not paying for a smoothie bowl that was made the night before and put in the freezer. If I wanted that i'd just eat at home? I get not wanting to waste it but then give it to an employee or something. Who tf does that? I'm so angry right now. Would you want a place to make a pizza in the oven the night before and then put it in the fridge and just reheat it the next day in the microwave when you order it? Probably not. What a joke.

I was dehydrated, exhausted, and in desperate need of revival. I ordered a protein shake, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that thing brought me back to life. The atmosphere was just as refreshing as the shake. Everything was super clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely nice. Bonita Bowls might officially be a smoothie and bowl place, but at that moment it was basically an emergency medical facility. I walked in barely functioning and walked out feeling like I might actually survive my life choices. My muscles are still mad at me, but at least now I have a delicious protein shake and a fighting chance.
