At first, I got a Caribbean Passion. It was 7 out of 10. Not too flavorful, just bland. I am from the Caribbean! I need something with flavor. The service was excellent, but the two employees needed to smile more. Smiling makes the experience even more enjoyable, special! (Don't look so dull, down. Perhaps an area manager can handle that.) Jamba Juice was my JAM back in high school. Not a week would go by without me getting a Razzmatazz or Caribbean Passion fix. We grew apart over the years but if you ask me what my pregnancy cravings have been, smoothies top the list. Luckily, this Jamba Juice is conveniently smack dab in the middle between my house and doctor which means I've been quite a lot over the last eight months. Since our time apart, Jamba Juice's menu has really evolved from being solely questionably "healthy" smoothies laden with sugar, to offering a wider variety of blends that contain more real fruit, greens and vitamins. Besides smoothies, you'll find acai bowls, shots, juices and a few baked goods. My favorite has probably been the acai super-antioxidant smoothie but sometimes I can't resist the classics. Besides that, the service is always fine and they make the smoothies quickly and well. It's located within a shopping plaza with super tight parking which can be a pain sometimes. I used to come to Jamba Juice all the time as a kid. My favorite thing to get was always the Mango-a-go-go smoothie. I decided to visit Jamba Juice again after about 4 years of not going, and the Mango-a-go-go was still just as good. The staff at Jamba Juice is helpful and they are willing to replace or remove certain ingredients from your smoothie. There aren't any options that are just made with vegetables, since basically all the smoothies and juices have fruit in them, but you can just remove the fruit from a drink if you're on a special diet. Jamba Juice is good if you want a fruity and refreshing smoothie. Smoothie king is good if you want more of that bulky and protein powder tasting smoothie. I personally prefer the flavor of Jamba Juice smoothies more but smoothie king is pretty tasty too. I saw that Jamba Juice is now serving smoothie bowls. They look pretty good. I like that I can add certain supplements to my concoction depending on what I feel I'm lacking. As we get older, we realize how important it is to load up on fun things like antioxidants. I used to work at a smoothie spot so I know my way around a blender. I got my own customized version of the Açaí Super Antioxidant, Kathleen my cashier was super open to making all my modifications possible, she had the best poker face because I know I putting that order can be incredibly meticulous but she had nothing but a smile on the entire time. She then made sure to make my smoothie her self, knowing the person who originally was making smoothies would probably be caught off guard and confused by the order. Jamba juice is hands down my favorite smoothie establishment. I like that they have the blenders right in front and you can watch what goes into your smoothies. What I really like is that their menu is continuously evolving to the needs of their customers. I just got a text from them yesterday saying that they brought back the Matcha green tea blast.
