First time trying this location and I was very happy with my experience. First off this no location has good parking, the actual store front is spacious and I found everything to be very clean and organized. The toppings bar looked well stocked and the ingredients looked and tasted very fresh! The build your own bowl is delicious and a small bowl is definitely big enough to share or good to save for a few meals! The chicken was well cooked and not dry at all which was great! Also the garlic cilantro sauce is a MUST! Need to come back and try more things on the menu because they have so many options! In terms of service, the ladies peppering the food were so sweet and worked very quickly! Overall a good location and glad to have found it! read more

Food is pretty good. Theres a big variety of protein and base and toppings and all kinds of fruits and veggies for smoothies. The steak isn't my favorite but the chicken was great and the wraps are huge for a decent price The lady that was making our wraps was not very friendly. She seemed annoyed at our presence and kept sighing despite us being friendly and quiet. The avocado she put in our wrap was partly blackened The guy at the cashier was smiling and a lot more friendly read more

I absolutely love this place! So many healthy options. I'm obsessed with the "Twisted Strawberries" Smoothie! The smoothies are made so efficiently and the service is always excellent! The ambience and workers always brighten up my day when I go! read more

Staff is super friendly! Came for the first time and took me a while to decide between all the options they have. You can choose bowls, wraps, salads, smoothies, etc. Although they have their signature ones, you can create your own. I ended getting the Tropical Breeze smoothie and it was delicious! You can also add smoothie enhancers ad an additional cost. Great spot to go after a workout! read more

So Sad! They sold the place to new owners and the changes have been for the worst! Açaí bowls got more expensive and they use smaller bowls. Then had the audacity to tell me it's same amount inside. Then when I asked for explanation and opportunity to fix it. They laughed and said sorry either take it or not. read more

Not having it with the long waits and bad service ! Smoothie was just not okay ambiance is blah.. don't think I'll be back

I ordered a banana peanut butter smoothie that was pretty good! It tasted like an ice cream even though it had protein in it. It was a bit pricey, but a good size. The rest of the menu looked delicious. Definitely have to go back to try something else . It was very clean, and nice ambience. The lady in front was very nice and attentive. Great and quick service. read more

Smoothie Spot has come in clutch. When I'm looking for a healthy meal but am limited on time, I know I can stop here. I've only been a couple times and have never tried a smoothie (which is ironic). However, the wraps and bowls have been delicious. The only downside is the cost. Maybe that's most places in Miami, but it seems that the prices are too high for a wrap or bowl. Overall, SS seems to be consistent in their product. read more

I've been here a few times for the Caesar salad wrap and it's a hit everytime. The service is great, always greeted with a smile. They really pack the wraps full, even the owner works the counter and ensures all is well. read more

Although this place is only about 5 mins from me, I ordered via UberEats. I was stuck at home without a car and was craving an Açaí Bowl. I ordered that, plus a Steak Bowl for dinner later. The Açaí arrived in perfect condition. It was not runny/ soupy nor completely frozen. The fruits were all fresh, but they forgot to add banana that I wanted as one of my toppings. I did get a few chunks of pineapple core as well. I only requested fruit toppings since they really didn't have any other interesting toppings. Like Goji, hemp hearts, bee pollen, etc. Since I was home, I figured that I'd add my own granola, chia seeds & honey. Sadly, I didn't have bananas on hand. All in all though, it was good. And a nice sized bowl at that. I struggled to finish it. They do offer several different bases for your bowl like mango, passion fruit, pineapple, strawberry & blackberry. But not pitaya. The steak bowl was ok. I forgot to take a picture, probably because it wasn't very pretty to look at. I ordered it with brown rice, black beans, mushrooms, goat cheese and baked plantains. The steak was absolutely tasteless. Thank goodness for the cilantro sauce. In hindsight, I should have ordered extra. Fortunately, I had some aioli here at home as well. Again, the small bowl was a nice sized. I had some for dinner, some for lunch the next day, and still had about 1/3 left. I'll probably try another protein next time. Oh, I also had a Tropical Mango juice that was very good too! read more

If i can give this 0 stars I would, I ordered an order on uber eats plain as day and instead of canceling the order the restaurant took it upon themselves to just give me whatever they wanted. I ordered the smoothie bowl and threw it out the moment i saw it. Fruit was old I asked for a strawberry base and i'm not even sure what they gave me. I also paid an additional $6 on toppings that they completely disregarded SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME ON THIS LOCATION. . . they do not care about quality or attention to detail. read more

I normally don't give negative reviews unless you take me to that point and this unfortunately needs to be addressed. I've been coming to this neighborhood Smoothie Spot ever since it opened and it was amazing, always clean, fresh food, friendly family environment but to be honest I've noticed when the owner, his father or a family member isn't present employees don't take pride in their work. The food preparation and service is lagging. I came on a Sunday, ordered a wrap and had to explain to the girl how to remove the egg yolk because she told me how do I do this? since I just wanted the egg whites Then instead of cubing it like they normally do she just stuck the two halves like that into my wrap. She didn't offer my choice of sauce because she had put all the sauces away prior to my arrival since they were closing in half hour so i had to ask for it. Ridiculous! I also ordered a pineapple bowl and I'll just let you be the judge of my soupy bowl with the images uploaded and presentation. Will also add an image of a bowl from My Roots in Kendall so you can compare how the presentation and consistency makes a difference when you take pride in your work. Hopefully management talks to their employees so their business can continue to flourish especially with the kind of prices they have. read more

Smoothie Spot is a healthy food restaurant with the build your own bowl concept. This location is next to my dogs vet in Kendall and always has quick service and fresh food. Our latest visit we tried the Strawberry Classic Smoothie with Protein (all of the smoothie options come with protein unless you ask to not include) and a chicken Caesar wrap. Perfect for a quick lunch on the go. read more

This makes me sad to write because I constantly come here. I've been coming to smoothie spot since it opened and I love the food, it's always great quality, great service, people are always nice. This is the second time I have come to this location and the food is crap. I don't spend $22 with this economy the way it is to come here and get hard ass salmon. Yes. That thing was dryer than the Mohave desert. I needed a knife, salmon is supposed to be flaky and soft. This coulda killed someone if thrown fast enough lol listen your food is not cheap.... So the quality needs to remain consistent. I imagine this was already cooked and then they just reheated it? Idk but when your starving after a hard days work and you pay for food.... And your jaw hurts chewing it.... It'll piss anyone off. The one on 8th street is always amazing. Never coming back here. read more

2 1/2 stars. Ever just get an uncomfortable vibe from a place? That's the way I felt at Smoothie Place. Maybe because the staff was not particularly friendly. Maybe it was because I really did not get the concept. Yes, they have smoothies and açaí bowls. I was interested in something more substantial for lunch, preferably a salad. Smoothie Spot has wraps. There are wraps on the menu or you can "build your own". There are no salads on the menu. Instead there are "bowls"For each bowl you can choose 6 ingredients (veggies, cheese, eggs, etc.) and a protein. I ordered a bowl. Truthfully, the items available to add to the bowl did not look that impressive. The vegetables, in particular, did not look super fresh. I ordered chicken for my protein. The chicken did not look appealing but was a big portion and fairly tasty. I also ordered avocado for an extra charge. Perhaps the smoothies and açaí bowls are better. Hence I upgraded to three stars. I just don't see myself returning here. read more

It has mango, pina ,Spinach , kale , & vanilla protein. I was really in the mood for passion fruit so I got " passion blast " which has passion fruit , pina , I vanilla protein. First of all it smells great in here. Healthy food can sometimes be a drag cause you don't want it to taste like cardboard. Yet, this place was surprisingly satisfying. The parking is a little limited just a heads up. You pick if you want a wrap or a bowl and get to choose the toppings you want to get. Fast, tasty, and most importantly healthy. Only complain I have however, the shrimp was very small. Other than that, it was a delicious. read more

One of my local go-tos for a tasty lunch that isn't horrible for the diet. I usually go for the make your own bowl with ground turkey. I used to get the chicken many years ago but they changed the way they cook it and I was not a fan, but the turkey is delish, I would say probably the best ground Turkey I have had outside of the one I make at home! So many fresh toppings to add that you don't get bored. Have your bowl with the spinach rice- you will thank me later! The sizes are generous and you will be full! The smoothies are great as well! read more

My go to spot when I want to eat something fresh, tasty and healthy. I definitely recommend trying the Popeye smoothie

Worst acai bowl i've ever had in my life, no exaggeration, I'm an acai expert. I tossed it in the trash after 2 bites, never done this in my life. Tasted like weird, artificial cherry candy or something. Not to mention the ration of acai was very small. The entire experience was bizarre. You walk into this place and it's like a long narrow hallway, there's a computer screen that says "Order Here," and no one greats you, and there's like multiple pick-up/ordering windows that some people seem to be going to, so it's very unclear where one is supposed to order, wait, pick up, etc. I ordered at the computer for lack of better idea what the hell I'm supposed to do, my order got lost, never came out, the whole thing was a mess, super unpleasant. The entrance has a mess of chairs just sort of piled in the corners, honestly would not recommend this place. Layout and ambiance is terrible. Maybe if you're ordering take-out and you don't get an acai bowl, perhaps it's ok. I recommend to management to get the place organized, make it appealing to be in there, and make it clear how/where a new customer is supposed to order. read more

Excellent food, great customer service, healthy options, gigantic portions. The smoothies are awesome here. The people that work here make you feel like you are the only customer they are attending to at the time, even when the place is packed. You are never rushed to make choices and all the food is explained to you, should you need any clarification. The bowls are huge.. the portion is enough to share with your significant other should you be nice enough to share..get two..lol Dont sleep on the spinach rice! It is unbelievably good and the chicken is seasoned just right!! We eat here at least twice a week if not more.. read more

Terrible customer service, the employees would rather broom up the place than take a to go order.

The place is really cute the decor matches the menu. The reason I gave it two stars is because of the staff they are not friendly the guy with all the tattoos is down right rude and so are the girls preparing the food. The food is not spectacular so they should work on service. The old guy that owns it I think is not bad he is the reason I can consider to come back but the staff is nasty. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. I've been going to this Smoothie Spot location for years and unfortunately it has not held up. The food is just bad. Period. Especially the rice. Without fail every time I go there the rice is stale. As for the smoothies, they are way too watery. Every time I go I hope that the food will be better but I am always disappointed. I have officially given up on this place. I DO NOT.. I REPEAT DO NOT RECOMMEND. Trust me. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more
