This review is more about the customer service, then the product. My daughter visits this location almost every Tuesday night, but I just don't know how many more times I'll have her go. This past week it took 25+ minutes to get a smoothie she ordered. The waits are almost always long, but it's gotten worse lately. I brought the issue to the location's attention and their advice was to order on the app instead of in person. Funny thing is we've tried this before and it still takes forever. A few months ago, a friend of mine gave me a Groupon for $5 off towards a Smoothy in this specific Smoothie King. Apparently they hadn't read the address of the store before buying it and never travel "that far South", so... my win... The fact is one day I'm driving through the US1 and notice this Smoothie King right there. It is easy to find, it is in a medium-sized strip mall and it has a lot of parking spots, though they are usually filled with cars. The store itself is not too big, but you have room to breathe. From the start, the first thing I did was to ask about the Groupon. the server was really nice and explained everything and then gave me time to see the menu (it's the first time I get in a Smoothie King and they have a very wide variety of smoothies, so I took my time, and the servers, while did offered to help, let me do my thinking without being pushy. The Smothies range from $4.99 to about $7, so with the $5 off you end up paying between $1 (well, taxes and tips and everything) and $3 (well, and you have to add the $3 from the Groupon, though I didn't have to because mine was a gift). Now, I thought I was going to order the big one until I saw the sizes of the cups, then I ordered the middle one... still, that thing was so huge that I had to take about the last third home and save it for later. I got the Passion Passport smoothie, which (the menu says) is made with "Bananas, Passion Fruit Juice Blend, Papaya Juice Blend, Mango Juice Blend, Turbinado" (BTW: I had no idea what Turbinado was until I looked it up just a second ago. apparently, some kind of sugar). As for flavor, it is pretty good, but I don't think it tasted enough like passion fruit (it's the one in the name of the drink, it should be the strongest flavor), and it is a bit on the sweet side, but not so much as to be bothersome. Also, it has sort of a hint of the taste the gym-smoothies get when the add the wheat protein to it, which I don't think they do, but still felt a similar taste. Overall, wasn't a bad experience. I'm not much of a smoothie drinker (my poison is closer to get about 1/4 gallon of triple-chocolate ice cream in the blender with 1/8 gallon of whole milk), but if I'm ever in the mood for one, I think I'll get back to this store (plus, they have these meat snacks, similar-but not-quite-beef-jerky, that I also enjoy). read more

Today I went at 10:27am, on February 5th 2023, to this smoothie king. The girl working with the blonde wavy hair is extremely rude and prideful. This is the third time she's working when I go, and let me tell you, whenever I go and I see her there, I consider leaving. My fiancé doesn't even order when she's there. She just stares at you until you talk without saying anything at all. No "what would you like to order." She just STARES with no expression on her face until you awkwardly speak. She then basically throws everything around and does everything with an attitude. Today, the third time with this encounter, I confronted her and told her she makes coming here very uncomfortable. She proceeded to say that she does nothing wrong and "she's not here to be angelic." There ya go - oh and by the way, she makes the WORST smoothies. Don't even ask her to remake them, because then it'll be a bigger a problem. read more

Nearly 100% of the time, this Smoothie King has above and beyond service. Friendly knowledgable staff and fast service is what I love about this place. The staff actually listens to any requests I have for my drink (eg. making it thick) and make it perfect. Even when there's a line, the smoothies are dished out in a timely fashion. read more

Smoothie king is awesome after a workout or if you're looking for something quick to fill you up. I always get the nutty vegan which is high in protein (18g) and is made with plant-based protein powder. This smoothie king was the earliest to open at 7am which is great for a quick breakfast on your way to work. The staff was very friendly and the store was very clean and organized. They also sell healthy snacks like protein bars and chips. If you're a regular here I recommend getting the smoothie king rewards app so you can get free/discounted stuff! read more

Had to skip breakfast today. Stopped at Smoothie King and had a LG chocolate Activator. It was the first time for me. The guy serving said I would fell good and have lots of energy. I LOVE Smoothie King ... This was the first location that I ever went to and even though I usually go to the one that's a bit further south on US1, I go here fairly often too (since my favorite Post Office is in the same shopping center). Their smoothies are great, they have the best selection of supplements of any smoothie place that I've ever been too, and their vitamins and other sundry items are really good quality and priced really well (especially when they're on sale). The thing that really pushes Smoothie King to the top of the Smoothie chains is their rewards program - I've gotten a few free things already and the fact that it's an app instead of a card is the best. The staff at this location is SUPER friendly and helpful. They helped me figure out what to order the first time I went in and was a bit overwhelmed by the huge selection and they've also given me some really good advice on their vitamins, protein shakes, and cleansing systems. Their bathroom is great too - its painted the brightest shade of lime green, which makes you feel a bit weird but its nice and large and always impeccably clean. A few times, I've stopped here and ordered a smoothie just because I was nearby and really needed to pee. It might seem silly, but a nice clean bathroom is a good thing to have. read more

Some of them can be rude and seem not to care about their jobs as if they were only there for the paycheck. I like that they are very clean and take the time to explain to you about each smoothie.
