This is a perfect location, just across from FIU. It's a great spot if you want a sweet treat and some strong coffee. I ordered the Tuscan Trifle which is tiramisu flavor based and I love tiramisu dessert so it's a nice sweet but strong coffee. The large comes with four shots of espresso, which is just the right amount I need. I am a coffee girly and I love trying local spots , corporate places like Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts just don't do it for me anymore. They have a variety of options on their menu to suit your coffee flavor preferences. Inside is super tiny, so the goal is just to order and head out. read more

In the shopping plaza across from FIU you'll find Sip305 and it's perfect for that quick hit of caffeine. Small location with a big menu. We only had the one barista but she was patient enough and we decided what we wanted. The coffee was just coffee with no fancy needed extras. You could taste the sweetness, as I obviously had a tiramisu flavor, but it was exactly what I wanted. read more

Newly located on Kendall and off 97th Ave next to the 7-11, I stumbled upon this drive thru coffee shop. I'm always looking for a new iced coffee. I typically go on Sundays to the Market in Pinecrest specifically for a coffee that is only available there. I came here with a couple of friends and it was amazing. I ordered the Tropical Sunrise and it was possibly one of the best drinks I've ever had. When we walked in the place was extremely clean and was decorated nicely. The lady who attended to us was extremely nice and helped us out with what drinks we should get and helped us with the menu. SIP 305 is such a fun concept! I'm the type of person that loves fun flavor combos and sugar, so this place is a great fit for me. It's a small spot near FIU, but they have so many fun options you won't get bored. I love the fruity drinks, and the coffee drinks, and the milkshakes, and the cookies. Such a cute place tucked by the One and 109 towers, all the drinks have their own little flavors which makes them different from your ordinary soda. I recommend the Florida man, and mount dewm while my boyfriend loves the Penguin (not pictured). The workers are super nice and I haven't had an bad experience at all. They also have cookies which are super yummy I like the cookie dough over the Nutella, they are both kinda sweet. I've also been ordering from Smoothie King a lot lately, so I figured I'd give this place a shot. Day 1, I ordered a chicken wrap. It was decent but the jalapeño corn was honestly the only reason I decided to come back. It had good flavor and stood out more than the wrap itself. Day 2, I came back for my free smoothie and ordered another wrap with the jalapeño corn. This time the wrap was nothing but rice. Barely any chicken and almost no avocado at all. It just wasn't it. It tasted like cardboard with sauce. The smoothie was okay, nothing special. I still prefer Smoothie King. Service was fine. No complaints there. Overall, I'd give it 3 stars. It wasn't terrible, but nothing great either, and not really a place I see myself going back to.

We decided on the Detox Island Green mostly for the the ginger. We walked into a customer being unpleasant to the staff. Her response to whatever the problem was really unnecessary. Valentina handled it professionally with poise. We waited less than 5 minutes for our smoothie. It's was refreshing and filling. The space was bright, clean and vibrant. Menu looked like good healthy options. There was plenty of seating inside to enjoy food and drinks. Service was great!

The Tropical Twist was mango, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla protein... super refreshing, light, and very tropical vibes. I genuinely can't even put into words how good everything tasted. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.
