I mean the portion it is shareable among 3 or up to 4. Enough to say that among 2 it was not possible to eat the whole piece. The cake itself it was delicious. Not too moist, not too dry and great flavor. The frosting including the profiteroles were great too with an amazing texture every bite. As I said, I will come back to the cookies and probably a different flavor of cake.

Tintto by Tributo is located in the Shoma Bazaar food hall in Doral next to Sweet Manifesto…read more Parking is available behind the food hall in the garage for $1 an hour or valet. This is the perfect caffeine pick place to hit up in the food hall. They specialize in single-origin, high-altitude Coffee from Colombia that is roasted and handcrafted on-site. They also have some other great photographic worthy drinks like the Wild Purple Lemonade made with Butterfly Pea lemonade that I had to have. The blue in the lemonade is from the Butterfly Pea Flower. It is made from a dried, cobalt blue flower that is native to Southeast Asia. Its scientific name is Clitoria ternatea. Butterfly Pea Flower is a bright blue color and it is sometimes used as a food coloring. When you add the acid of lemon it turns a violet color which is how they achieved the blue/ purple color of the drink. As the lemon distributed throughout, it eventually turned entirely violet. It was expensive for a lemonade but I loved it. Other fun drinks include Passion Fruit Lemonade, Hibuscus Lemonade, Iced Santana Red Tea, and Oreo Iced Latte. They also sold tempting looking desserts which included colorful macarons. When you are craving coffee or a boring can of soda won't quench your thirst because you are craving showstopping refreshment, Tintto by Tributo has just what your Instagram ordered.

We placed our order, I never know what I want so I let one of the Barista pick out her favorite which was the brown sugar taro and my friend wanted matcha and ended up ordering the lucky charms matcha. We waited inside this warehouse, open space they had next to the coffee cart truck. I was in love with all the different art pieces they had up and even some dominos. They were pretty busy with both online orders as well in person orders, but our drinks came out pretty quick. Yes the drinks are 7-7.50 for a medium size; Are they mostly just ice like Starbucks? Not at all. Do they taste freshly made and serviced with love? Heck yeaaaahhhh and delicious!! Also they don't use plastic straws so they are eco friendly too :) Will have to come again to sketch and have another sweet treat

I had one morning only in downtown Miami and was dying for Cuban food and drink. Having an…read moreovernight as a flight by attendant means I only go where my feet can take me so Hialeah was unfortunately out of the question. I passed this shop while on the hunt for the post office, the back has a lit up sign that just says "coffee" and indicates a hole in the wall type of place. The front has a walk up order window, and there is also seating available both inside and outside. It's clean, easy to access, menu is clearly visible. I did not see this place when I looked for Cuban cuisine on Apple Maps, but on yelp I had found Cortadito Coffee House and was going to try their coffee but it's nearly $4 for a Cortadito there and here at Coffee Zone, I saw it's under $3 (as it should be). ***When in southern Florida, there are two Cuban coffee fundamental truths for finding the real thing: it comes in a mini styrofoam cup, and it is $2- something, never over $3.*** Janet and Gaby were the ladies at the helm, I spoke to Janet in Spanish and she responded in Spanish (I appreciate those who are kind enough to let me practice my Spanish). I ordered the Cortadito and she clarified if I wanted espresso or a Cortadito (espresso with milk). I confirmed my choice of Cortadito (they used Bustelo, once again as they should), and in short order I had my lil mini styrofoam cup of joy in hand. At first sip I was so entirely content. I don't usually drink coffee and I only will these days if it's a *good* Cuban Cortadito. So walking in the sun with my favorite coffee, my soul was happy. This is where it gets interesting. I ordered at the window so from the menus, I did not see any Cuban pastries or snacks and I did not see a medianoche (Cuban sandwich) available, although they do have the two hot plates that smushes and toasts the bread. So I decided to go to Cortadito Coffee House and get my Cuban finger foods and sandwich. While there I decided to try their cortadito and do a taste test (with this much coffee I'm bound to start seeing sounds soon). Cute place, great service, great marketing, not trying to put them on blast but the comparison is crucial. Came in a mini cup (not styrofoam), and I tasted it, and it honestly was not good. It was the taste up against a REALLY good and authentic one that I could tell the difference. **If I did not know better I would think it's fine** but I do know better, my Cuban friends have made sure of that. It's like having cappuccino in Italy and then coming back and ordering one from Starbucks and experiencing the supreme disappointment that first sip will give you. It was such an obvious difference that I didn't even want this fancy Cortadito (which costs like $4 btw) and I walked BACK to the Coffee Zone to get Janet and Gaby's names to do this review and let them know that the Cortadito they made me was beyond amazing. So this review is to put this place on the map of good, authentic Cuban coffee, the place I will be returning in my next downtown overnight. Muchísimas gracias, Janet & Gaby! *also worth noting: they have tap to pay and order ahead available

I went Via Oeste Bakery after seeing some mouthwatering cachito videos on TikTok. The place is…read morebrand new, clean, and nicely located in a more residential part of Doral, away from the main commercial strip. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive. I ordered at the counter and they brought the food to your table with a smile. The only real downside is the acoustics; there's a lot of echo in the space, and combined with the loud TV and people talking, it gets a bit noisy and annoying. The most importante part is the cachito de jamón y queso was good not great. It was flavorful with a slightly sweet ham that was different from the usual Venezuelan style. It was generously filled but noticeably smaller than the traditional Venezuelan cachitos I'm used to. I'd give the flavor an 8/10, but the size was disappointing for the price. Also tried a palmerita that was more caramel-forward than the classic buttery, flaky hojaldre style. It was decent if you like caramel, but not what I was craving. The coffee was okay, nothing special. Overall, the cachito was solid, but between the portion size and the noise and prices probably wouldn't go back. Worth a try if you're in the area and craving something different, but not a destination spot for me.
