The decor was nice. I was hopeful to get a delicious, fun coffee. I ordered a large vanilla milkshake with two shots of espresso, 11.75. I assumed it would be like an affogato blended. It tasted like a watered down coffee with milk. The consistency was like milk. I asked the employee to add more ice cream because it was not a milkshake. She said the ice cream was soft. It was by far the worst coffee I've had. No love in the making and it was bland. She apparently just poured the hot espresso on the soft cheap ice cream and it melted. This recipe needs to be improved. Waste of money. Starbucks at its worst does better than this. First visit and last. In addition to the pricing advertised online was different than in the store. read more

I absolutely loved this place! The healthy breakfast options really stood out and made it easy to find something both delicious and nutritious. At a price point of nearly $30, I was expecting a bit more. This is a walk up situation. You place your order on a screen and seat yourself. I assumed, incorrectly, that it was a full service establishment. I'm glad I can say I've been, but I won't be back. The avocado toast consisted of cherry tomatoes, with macerated avocados, and balsamic drizzle, over sour dough. The eggs- were supposed to be over easy- were over hard and I have reason to suspect they were "cooked" in a microwave. The bacon was.... Edible. The iced black coffee was the best part of the meal. The decor uses a lot of faux vines and plants to achieve its aesthetic. And for all intents and purposes the staff seem lovely. Just at this price point and for what you're getting.... It's not worth it. Mayors Cafe or the coffee shop by the hotel are better bites. read more

This was my first time at this restaurant. To drink, we got the strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba and the matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Matcha is extra for boba. Also, they don't have normal tapioca and instead have brown sugar popping boba. The staff was very kind and helpful and answered our questions and gave some recommendations off the menu as well. The matcha was very good, pretty standard matcha taste. I wouldn't say it tastes the most authentic or anything, but it had a good flavor and the strawberry popping boba paired well with it. The strawberry boba, however, was something... It tasted pretty artificial is the best way I could put it, I couldn't drink more than a sip. We also got a cookie and cream cookie which was questionable. Kind of tastes like absolute raw sugar and also just not like cookies and cream. I like sweet things, but this wasn't just sweet, it tastes like sour cookie dough. I'd be willing to come back to this location in the future and try their actual food items but I probably would not come back for their boba or deserts. read more

This place is tucked away in the shopping center. The decor was super cute and picture worthy. The service was great there was only 1 other couple there. The brownie and chocolate croissant were really good, so good I hate to get an extra. The iced chai, however lacked chai. It tasted more like milk than anything. That is why they get the 3. Loved this cute bakery. They have sandwiches and burgers and breakfast all day. They have an assortment of coffees and teas as well. I had the prosciutto panini and an American coffee and my husband had the Philly cheesesteak panini and white chocolate mocha. The food was great and so was the coffee. The server who attended us was courteous and professional. We came for lunch and it was so nice. Not too much noise, calm and private. Will be back here again! Arrived at BB's Bakehouse around 4:45 pm on a Sunday. It's a nice cozy venue with a pretty extensive menu. I ordered a Large Taro Boba Tea with Mango boba (2% whole milk) . This is the first restaurant that's I've seen a different boba ball flavors , ranging from Mango, Almond and a few more. I would give the actual boba tea a 3-5 stars for its flavor profile, it could be the combination of taro and mango that throws it off for me ‍ It's a nice spot though and I would recommend it for a nice morning or afternoon stroll. This is not a fast food joint (nor are the prices fast food prices) so I was very surprised to be served rubbery "scrambled" eggs in the shape of a disc. Very disappointing. We found this restaurant by accident but we were sooooo glad we did! The food was SPECTACULAR. Everything tasted fresh, the burger was so juicy and flavorful, the Philly cheesesteak was so tender and filling. We tried the chai tea (it could use a bit more flavor/syrup) and the taro boba (which was good but they didn't have the tapioca which would've made it so much better). The ambiance was very nice, everything was clean and they had a cute Harry Potter theme going on for Halloween which I loved. Overall it was a great dining experience. The server was amicable and attentive, she brought the food to the table which I think was a nice gesture. My advice for the future, price could be a little disproportionate example: the lemonade is small compare to the price but may be they will adjust later on. New place in town so I decided to try it out this morning for an early lunch . Very clean and homey . Staff was pleasant. Had the tuna panini with fries and a black tea . The food was good but nothing to write home about. More bread than tuna IMO . The bill was $25 .. a little overpriced. I am glad that I tried it but honestly not sure if I'd be back on a regular basis . I do wish them luck as they are located in such a high rental area ( Miami Lakes Main Street ) where shops come and go sporadically. read more

Nothing really special in terms of food, just simple items no one can really get wrong. So opted to try the sweets to see what they brought to the table. Guava cake had a nice flavor, but was overly moistened / mushy and a bit too sweet. Cake slice was much smaller than the slices they had on display (around half the size), think it would be best to use some sort of sizing method so slices are always uniform size. Prices are a little wonky. Some simple items are priced pretty high (mozzarella sticks, small slice of cake), while others are pretty competitively priced (croissant sandwiches). Overall think the place has potential. read more

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As far as the food, all of the items we tasted were fantastic, everything seemed well-stocked, organized and clean. I look at those things automatically. Working in the service industry for 28 years myself in second nature to glance over everything. if I was staying in the area any longer, I would definitely be a repeat customer. Service is awful. i went there with my wife and ordered some food to breakfast with her. she ask a hot chocolate and a panini bread without any vegetables on it but with cheese. My food was on time but my wife's food went very late, her bread went cold waiting for the hot chocolate and they forgot the cheese inside the bread. Its a shame i left a tip because they charge you in advance but honestly they don't deserve it. I talked with the cashier about the situation and the only response was "sorry to hear that". We had a small get together with out of town family members and picked this café in Miami Lakes. The food was ok, the presentation was a bit lackluster. I had a croissant breakfast sandwich but it could have used a bit more filling. The coffee was good but it took some time for it to come out. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the café itself is very charming and spacious so lots of space for a larger gathering compared to other locations in the same area. Overall, I'd say the place has potential, its very quaint and charming but the food is just ok.
