For starters, this bakery needs to hire people that will provide decent service to all customers. Customer service is key to the success of business. Additionally the attendant did not even know what was an egg, cheese and ham croissant sandwich. My coffee was cold as she served the coffee to way before the food was being made. Food is not cheap and we expect good food for the money. This gave me a bad feel as to not return to this place. I have visited this place in the past and I have had good feel about it, but the new staff in the bakery it makes me think twice about going there again. It is sad because typically the food is good, but I also expect service. read more

This place has fallen extremely short. The manager is an elder lady whose extremely ill mannered. The poor ladies working look miserable to be there. All pastries and bread is so good. You can't go wrong with the croquettes that are great as well!! And if you want to go all in, try the croquetta preparada they have. They are quick to serve. I always opt for a French toast on wheat and add an order of bacon to my order. I chose to go with a Iron Beer soda instead of a cafe con leche. If you're going during bakery run rush hour, you might have to wait a bit because they have two registers in the same spot and the line to order can get a little long. I use to love coming here for the coffee and tostada. Not sure why, but I went in today and for some reason the girl I usually order from was rude. Guess she was having a bad day. Regardless, I ordered my usual and tipped her. After waiting 40 minutes for a tostada, coffee and colada I got upset. I'm usually very understanding that it is a busy place. After getting impatient, I asked a young lady to check up on my order and according to the girl that took my order, she was calling me and I didn't "hear her". I asked her why didn't she come over to me to bring me my food? I didn't want to take up space at the front because it was crowded with customers. She completely dismissed what I said and to top it off my sandwich was cold. No apology or anything. I asked the young lady to heat it up and they made me wait a long time again on purpose. A couple of hours later, I'm getting stomache cramps, vomiting and can't keep anything down. It's the first time I've ever felt that someone tampered my food and I will be taking actions because this is not ok. Sorry but you lost me as a customer. To the manager, you should really teach them customer service especially if they notice someone's been waiting around for a while. read more

I used to come here like 2 years ago, never had a problem. I decided to visit today for breakfast so my boyfriend can experience the great food. The staff was extremely rude, the lady who asked to take my order walked away when I started to speak and said she doesn't speak English. Then, after I ordered they took forever to make my food. People came in after me and ordered and received their food and I patiently waited. They made food for other workers in the back and i still patiently waited. I don't want to say it was a race thing but it came off that way. If you don't want to serve black people then you should say that, put it on the front door because going out your way to be rude is a waste of time. read more

I have come here for breakfast 2 times. The food is very good, although I think the cook does not know hot to make scramble eggs without burning them. I tried their breakfast, their hot Cuban sandwich, and their pastries. All were acceptable. The only problem is that the place is very small and crowded and if you sit to eat your meal your elbows bump with the elbows of the person sitting next to you. I have been going to this place since I was a child. They changed owners several years ago and in the past two years the customer service has gone frown tremendously. The staff is completely new and they don't care how long you ha e been waiting no do they apologize for not realizing that you hadn't been helped. This is my last time coming here! Terrible awful service. My mom came in on a Sunday where it's usually busy and you seat yourself. Over 30 minutes no one came to even ask if he had been helped. My mom was able to get someone's attention and put our order in another half hour went by and they didn't even. Other to bring my juice. Another group sat down and was able to get a waitress and then she asked me why I hadn't gotten my food. I was wondering the same thing. We spoke to the owner and she said she was short staffed and sarcastically told us we were right. When we asked for the juice she said it was sitting on another counter and the other waitress told her it was for someone else. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I will never be back. read more

Worst bakery in the area. I've been to many but this has far been the worst service. The food wasn't bad, but the service couldn't have been WORSE. I went with my family and all 3 ladies would stare at us from behind the counter starring at us while they bite their nails. After 20 minutes one finally approached us and brought 2 menus for 5 people. After making our selection the food came out one plate at a time. Not to mention they didn't have chocolate milk, empanadas, or bread. What bakery doesn't have those basic items ? Afterwards when we finished and wanted to pay they forgot what we ordered so they just started adding random plates to the check.
