Cutest coffee shop in town. Ordering was made easy at the counter and food is brought to your table if dining in, food arrived quickly. The menu has a great variety of items to be ordered. Ordered an almond croissant that was so warm and soft. It was absolutely delicious and also had an iced chai latte which was probably the best one I've had in a while. All items we ordered were very fresh and great flavor. There was an indoor and outdoor seating area. With great weather it was nice to enjoy coffee and good company outside. Cant wait to return.

petite plate $25 and honestly nothing out of this world Petite Dejeuner (Favorite!!)

Food is over priced and definetely not woeth the price. This place use to be an old Spaniard restaurant that closed down. The crossaints are way better in Bj for 1/10 of rhe price and their lattes are not good at all alhrough very decorative. Stay away feom their overpriced pancakes which taste like those frozen pancakes which is surprising as they are like $20. I spent $100 in this place and boy did I feel like Mcdonalds has better breakfast food.

Every time I come to vanilla espresso I'm grateful that we have such a nice little gem in the area for a relaxing coffee or meal. Once in a while I come in to do their lunch special (soup & a slice of quiche), but am more often in for an iced latte to go. My favorite items are any of their quiches, a hot or iced coconut latte, and their Dubai desserts. Even just waiting for my latte to go, the amazing staff is asking if I need anything, if they can get me water. They are all so friendly and make the experience even better. They can get pretty busy on the weekends, but I've never had to wait which is also a bonus. I'd say this is the best cafe in Miami Lakes in terms of quality, service, and variety. Definitely worth checking out.

Okay, confession: I'm not typically a French-bakery girlie. But the amount of positive reviews drew me in. I went with friends who are total coffee heads, and none of us were disappointed. The coffee was incredible, honestly some of the best we've had in a while. And the food? Even better. From the croissants to the escargot everything was delicious. The vibe, the people, the service, all 5 stars. It has that charming atmosphere where you actually want to sit, sip, and stay a while. And even though I live all the way in Miami Beach, it was absolutely worth the day trip. Bonus: there's an amazing Italian restaurant right next door, so you can make a whole foodie experience out of it. Highly recommend.

A small French restaurant in a shopping center in Miami Lakes. Spacious free parking available. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They have it cutely decorated l. Right now the tables have Halloween decorations on them. The menu offers several dishes like eggs benidicf , avocado toast, mini croissants , regular croissants, specialty egg meals, and deserts. If you like mimosa ... you can order one with your meal. You know I did! The food is ordered at the cashier and a number is provided to place on your table and they will bring out your drinks and food once it's ready. I had a mimosa that was perfect! My friend chose to drink coffee. A pitcher of water is available on the table as well. I was clustered not knowing if to order my usual benidit, or a few mini croissants or a regular croissant. I ended up ordering the regular caprese croissant. Very tasty but I felt it had more bread than what I would like. So it's by your presence regards to the bread. Next time I would possibly choose to order 3 different mini croissants. My best friend chose the avocado toast that also came with salmon but she requested to opt out of the salmon on her dish. She loved it! It looked very yummy! Both dishes were a good portions. Great little spot to have some girl time! We chatted for about an hour and no one rushed us out. The drinks came out almost immediately and the food came out pretty fast too. ( no long wait!) Great to take home a few little desserts on your way out!

On a visit to the old neighborhood, I decided to get breakfast here. I remembered when it opened and it was okay. They had an absolutely phenomenal pistachio croissant. Initially ordered a matcha and the bonjure madam. They were out of matcha, but quickly fixed it by offering a dirty chia! It was amazing. The breakfast spread was so good! When I'm back for my next visit, I will be sure to stop in.

Delicious Latte with an Almond Croissant in a French-themed atmosphere. Currently decorated for spooky-season! I love that the background music vaguely matches the French cafe theme. Pro tip: Come here at off hours, not at peak times. It can get BUSY here!

It's always a delight coming to eat at Vanilla Espressso in Miami Lakes. The food is exceptional, the service is warm and attentive, and the ambiance is welcoming and relaxing. From the moment you walk in, you feel comfortable and genuinely welcomed. A wonderful place to enjoy a great meal and atmosphere!

Today, I had the raspberry jelly and goat cheese croissant. I was able to add black forest ham to it, which I appreciated. It was delicious! The croissant was airy and fresh, and the raspberry jelly was the right amount of sweet. I also had the cinnamon bun iced latte. I wish it was a bit sweeter, but it was great. The inside is nice but small, and today, it was busy. So, I sat outside within their covered patio. It was hot today, but there was a nice breeze every so often. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They would check on us outside often and offered water. It is a bit pricey the food, but it is good quality and an enjoyable spot. I came alone and read my book, and no one was rushing me. It's also in a plaza. So, there is plenty of free parking available. Note, you order your food at the counter and then sit down.

If you are looking for esthetically appealing baked goods, look no further! Not to mention how amazingly delicious their pastries are!!! My goodness! I tried the coconut tart and the almost croissant and I can honestly say they were heavenly. My team tried the fruit tart, almond croissant and another pastry which I can't recall but they were all impressed. I also had two cortados, expresso & milk which I didn't enjoy as much as the pastries. It tasted more like milk than coffee. But maybe I wasn't specific when I ordered. But come try the pastries!!

Croquet monsieur was below average. I have had this at several French spots, and this was by far my least favorite. Bread was somewhat on the soggier side. I could not taste the bechamel sauce at all. Prices are on the higher side as well. I spent $22 on this ham and cheese sandwich and an iced coffee. Ambiance was great for a little coffee date with my friends. You order your food at counter and waitress brings to you, which is a bit inconvenient because everyone at the table gets their meal at different times.

This place was so yummy. Super close to Main Street. Service was fast and easy, you grab a menu and sit and whenever you're ready you go order in the front. We had a chocolate croissant, ham and cheese mini croissant, and a crème brûlée coffee. All very good. The ambiance inside was good, they were playing some music but it wasn't too loud which was nice because it was easy to talk.

Let me start with the steak frites. I can appreciate the fries weren't thick cut or anything. This was a plus and I'll explain why shortly. That steak was SUPER tender and juicy. Those fries quickly absorbed those flavors. Additionally, they served it with some sauces and let me say I don't really like steak sauces or anything but what they had was just icing on what was already a beautiful cake. The cherry on top was the crepe. Super light, flavor bomb, and frankly I thought I was crazy for thinking butter and sugar was gonna be boring, it was DIVINE. 10/5 will come back

THE FOOD: For starters, we had the cheese, bread and honey dish - 4/5 warm, crunchy, gooey goodness. I also had the French onion soup 5/5, probably the best ive ever had! incredible flavor profile perfectly balanced and salted. For entrees, my husband went with a oxtail with mash dish they had on special that day 1000/5, too bad eating with your hands and licking your plate is frowned upon lol - it deserved that! I had the Pan seared branzino 2/5 - now hear me out - it was five out of five in texture, soft and buttery, and presentation BUT it was cook with SO MUCH BUTTER, that the roof of my mouth & tongue were coated in it and I couldnt tastes anything else! It was so much butter that I felt my lips, tongue and throat irritated. Additionally, im not sure why they didn't pair this dish with a mash or a roasted potatoes, instead of only cooked down spinach. THE SERVICE: Reservations are strongly encouraged - so I made mine with Resy. Through Resy, I confirmed my reservation and had it all in text & email. Upon arrival, their system didnt pull it up. However, the manager (?) was kind, gentle and gracious, sat us at a table. Our waiter was fantastic! So charismatic, and was well versed on all the dishes and how they were made. I believe she said she's been with the team a few years now. From what I understand, a sister restaurant was just opened in Miami Beach, so I hope to be able to give that one a try aswell - maybe for my birthday in two weeks?

Nestled in Wynwood, the restaurant has a chic yet welcoming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that feels lively without being overwhelming. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Every staff member was warm and attentive, and our server, Radomere, truly elevated the experience. Managing a party of 12 is no easy task, yet everything flowed seamlessly. He was attentive, personable, and made sure our celebration felt special from start to finish. With a group our size, we took full advantage of the menu. We shared oysters, escargot, crispy artichokes, leeks, beet salad, French onion soup, tuna carpaccio, steak tartare, and a beautifully curated cheese platter. Every appetizer arrived impeccably presented and packed with flavor. It was one of those rare meals where every dish earned compliments around the table. The cocktails and wine were just as enjoyable especially the dirty martinis, which were a hit with our group. For the main course, we ordered everything from the cheeseburger and mussels to the lemon pasta, spaghetti, steak, and chicken. Once again, every plate was beautifully executed and, more importantly, absolutely delicious. There wasn't a weak link in the meal. Dessert was the perfect finale. The dark chocolate mousse was rich, silky, and easily my favorite, though the profiteroles and lemon tart were excellent as well. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with exceptional service, it makes for a memorable dining experience. This was an easy five-star visit, and I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

For the most part, the food delivered. We shared several appetizers. The heirloom tomato dish with the saffron cracker was delicate, satisfying, and one of my favorite starters of the evening. The white asparagus was the only miss for me--it was overwhelmingly acidic and sour. The artichoke, however, was outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and every bite seemed to wake up my palate. The standout dish of the night was the spaghetti with caviar and Parmesan foam. It's difficult to describe because the flavors and textures worked together in a way that needs to be experienced rather than explained. If I ever returned, this would be the dish I would order again without hesitation. For mains, I chose the bison while my husband ordered the duck. The duck was tender with crispy skin, though it wasn't his favorite. The bison was exceptional. Wrapped in a croissant-like pastry with earthy mushrooms and served alongside a rich red wine reduction, it was incredibly tender and melted in your mouth. The mushrooms retained their texture without becoming mushy, and the sauce complemented both the bison and the mashed potatoes beautifully. Dessert was another highlight. The Black Forest dessert had the most impressive presentation, resembling a mushroom and fitting the restaurant's artistic approach. While it was delicious, the chocolate soufflé special was our favorite. Soft, airy, and paired with ice cream, it was perfectly executed. Cocktails were surprisingly strong across the board. I ordered their signature Michelin Star cocktail and enjoyed it so much I had three. The matcha cocktail and skinny margarita were also excellent. The cucumber cocktail wasn't for us, but overall the bar program impressed. The atmosphere was interesting. The dining room felt heavily influenced by Japanese design, with deep red tones, an open kitchen, and bar seating that reminded me of an omakase counter. It was intimate without being stuffy, and tables were spaced far enough apart that conversations remained private. The music blended into the background perfectly and never competed with the dining experience. That said, I didn't find the seating particularly comfortable, and while the room was attractive, it didn't feel especially luxurious or uniquely Miami. Where the experience fell short was service and pacing. At one point, our waiter walked away while someone in our party was still speaking and ordering. More importantly, there were long gaps between courses. While I understand that fine dining is meant to be enjoyed slowly, the pacing felt excessive. By the time dessert arrived, we were more tired than excited. I even asked for the dessert menu when our mains arrived because I anticipated the wait, but was encouraged to wait and enjoy the meal first. One detail I genuinely appreciated was the farewell gift at the end of the evening. As we were leaving, the staff handed us branded L'Atelier bags containing a packaged brownie with orange zest and shaved almonds. We were told to enjoy it with our morning coffee the next day. It was a thoughtful touch and a nice way to extend the experience beyond dinner. At over $1,400 for four people including gratuity, value is where I struggle most. The food was very good, and we left satisfied, but some details didn't feel consistent with the price point or a two-star Michelin experience. The silverware showed noticeable wear, service wasn't flawless, and while we left full, the portions were understandably small. I don't regret spending the money, but I'm not sure I would spend it again. Ultimately, I think L'Atelier is worth visiting if you're specifically interested in experiencing Michelin-starred dining. However, if someone were visiting Miami for the first time and asked where to have one unforgettable dinner, I would probably recommend a restaurant that better captures Miami's scenery, atmosphere, and energy. I'm glad I experienced it, and there are a few dishes I still think about--especially the caviar spaghetti and the soufflé--but for me this was more of a "worth doing once" experience than a restaurant I would return to again and again.
