Definitely one of the best Starbucks in Miami. Great customer service with friendly staff. The employees do a good job of maintaining quality and efficiency despite being super busy. This is a smaller Starbucks, but the employees are very nice and it's open till 11:30 pm most days, making it the perfect place to get some late-night work or studying done. There are lots of tables and outlets to set up at, and they usually have every type of drink and snack in stock (some locations are just constantly out of things). Yesterday I used my star rewards to get a drink, and the barista was super sweet and hooked me up with lots of toppings! I will say the tables are not cleaned all that often and the trash bins are usually overflowing whenever I go, but this is also a very popular drive-thru and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get my drink if I'm sitting at the cafe, so it's really more of a testament to how hard these people work to get people their orders. read more

According to the Starbucks Customer Service Website: "At participating stores, you can use your registered Starbucks Card or Starbucks® app to purchase a beverage and then present that same Starbucks Card or Starbucks account in the app to get free refills of brewed coffee (hot, Iced Coffee or Cold Brew), and tea (hot or iced, not including lemonade) during the same store visit ***REGARDLESS*** of the original beverage. Customers without a registered account may purchase a refill at a reduced price. Once you leave the store, your visit has ended, and any subsequent coffee or tea refill thereafter would be considered a new purchase. Refills are not available in the Drive Thru" It's a great perk if you're getting some studying or work done. This location does do the free refill however it is NOT regardless of the original beverage as stated on the Starbucks webpage. You have to order either the brewed coffee (hot, Iced Coffee or Cold Brew) or tea (hot or iced, not including lemonade) and they will refill the original order only. I have been here at different times of the day and always am more productive than I would be at home so will come back. Definitely wish they had some outlets by the 3 tall chair seats though as the tables close to the outlets tend to be used up unless you're there very early in the morning or later in the evening. If you are thinking about doing the same, be aware that only one of the restrooms is currently available as I have seen more than one person waiting on a few occasions. The location has a drive-thru and it has always gotten my order right but it does get long lines sometimes, which I think may be due to it being so close Kendall Regional Hospital/FIU/Turnpike entrance. I love this starbucks and ordering form here. I only have 1 complaint about the location, they play the music way too loud and I don't believe the baristas hear it loudly because the speakers for the music are only by where the customers sit. I use my noise cancelling headphones to study and still hear the music clearly with them on. I like the staff they are all very nice and so welcoming! I know Starbucks is not just a study spot but students do come here to study so I wish they can just lower the music to make it more appealing for students and for customers that go that try to speak over the music. Yesterday I went to this Starbucks and the people that were around me caught this guy taking multiple pictures of me. Later on when my friend and I were sitting far away from him, another guy with a similar appearance asked us if he could sit with us. After we said yes, he gave a signal to the other guy and took a phone call in the bathroom ( at this same time, the guy in the picture also answered the phone). We told the staff and they did absolutely nothing about it. Cop friend had to show up and walk us back to the car. I've been going to this branch for a few years now, always ordering ahead via their mobile app. I have to say they've never gotten my order wrong once and only on the rarest of busiest days has it not been ready when I arrived. Also, I'm always greeted when I enter, and a few employees recognize me and greet me by my name. One employee in particular, Phoebe, noticed I would always discard the sleeve put on the cups to avoid getting burned when holding the cup. I don't like them because I spilled and almost spilled the drink because of it and I prefer to feel the warmth in my hand. If the coffee is too hot to hold, I just hold it near the top. Anyway, I thought to myself I must ask for her name so I could mention her in a review because these little details separate professional employees from others. So, today I asked what her name was and she told me and that she's the manager. I have to say that it didn't surprise me because this particular outlet is run extremely well and I can certainly see why. Nice little Starbucks, but not my favorite location. To start, the parking lot is tiny. You can roll the dice and park in one of the neighboring lots, but they have signs all over saying you'll be towed, so good luck with that. The drive thru goes right thru the parking lot, and the access is limited, so it causes a lot of congestion int he entry/exit/parking area. Once inside, it is nice, but not too big. They have a few tables, but it is oftentimes full. if you do get a seat, the chairs are nice, and the staff is friendly enough. The coffee is what you would expect from Starbucks, they have all of the usual amenities, and you can relax for hours if you need to study or work remotely. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area, so there is places to stretch your legs. At the end of the day it is a solid place to get a good cup of coffee if you can deal with the minor headaches associated with the parking situation. read more

I love this Starbucks. My favorite Starbucks of them all and I've been to many. The service here never fails to amaze me. The customer service is that of high quality. Needless to say that I don't always have the same employee attend to me. This shows that they most likely make a high emphasis in great customer service. I went today, Saturday, and stayed a little over the closing time and a gentlemen came and apologized because they were closing. As soon as I was leaving he yelled bye, sorry again, have a wonderful night, drive safe, and enjoy your weekend! Now tell me that that was not sweet?! She alerted me that birthday gifts are given to members but only the day of their birthday. I decided to choose a grande Tea and it was delicious, I also ordered the Basil Panini and it was given for pick up in a warm toasty to go package. Cath provides us with extremely rude and unprofessional customer service. I went through the drive through today 12/28/2019 around 2:15pm. Cath the drive through lady asked what I want. I said "grande iced coffee" she followed up with a question "any cream or sugar?" I replied "no cream nor sugar." Said then Said l1 cream 1 sugar." I said "no, no cream nor sugar" then she gave me an attitude in her tone of voice and said "oh no cream nor sugar." Maybe because of my slight accent (been to this country for 17 years and never had a problem) or maybe because the voice box at the drive through was not working well. Either or I have no problem repeating myself to her, but DO NOT give me a attitude first when I'm trying to be nice. Cath then asked me if I want anything else. I proceeded to order the second drink, a tall hot coffee with whole milk and 5 bags of sugar. She then said "so 5 bag of sugar in your ice coffee?" (We already moves on to the next drink why is she going back to the first drink?) I still kept calm and asked nicely "can I come to the window and say to you in person" (thinking the drive through voice box might be not working well) she replied in a rude tone of voice "you just have to pronounce it right, and speak clearly." At this point, I got upset and drove to the window. She waited a while to open the window and before I said anything, she said " I know what you want and hands me my coffee." I tasted the coffees, both were correct so clearly she knew what I asked for. I did NOT say anything at all to her, yet still she look at me and said "pronunciation is key!" In a rude, racist and disrespectful manner. At this point I was really upset and I still don't want to say anything because I don't want to start an argument. So I shook my head left to right because I couldn't believe it. She saw me shaking my head and said "you too!" And shut their window. This whole process I didn't not say a single word. This is the type of customer server Starbucks offer these days? I have been coming to Starbucks for years, but this is the first time I have encountered such rude person in my life. He made drinks .with bare hand all around top of my drink before he put top on I complained I'm on chemo going thru this epidemic like everyone else and told him he wasn't following protocol. He laughed and said I shouldn't be out . Manager had him put glove on , yet still laughing and smirking behind her back . Next 2 nights my husband went thru drive thru same people . He asked for 1 grande latte with only one one pump of mocha because I didn't want much sugar . Both nights they put at least 2 or more pumps of mocha . So much it looked like dark mud . It's not funny I believe they did it intentionally. They don't care about one wishes or safety or health . I called at 6:55 pm they close at 7. This is by far the BEST Starbucks location that I have been to in Miami AND it has a drive thru! When you walk in it is kind of dark with very dim lighting. All the decor is lovely and the sale items are organized nicely through the the cafe. The space is rather large; there are comfy chairs, high table tops, and community tables. It was a cold day today in Miami so my husband and I decided to sit outside together and enjoy our beverages. The music was so pleasant it took me out of busy bird road and had me feeling like I was sitting outside in a Starbucks in NYC! I was dancing my heart away in my seat teehehe. I ordered a Flat White, it was very well made it just wasn't my cup of tea. It's a rather bland beverage. I added some Splenda and cinnamon to mine for flavor. My husband got a traditional hot cocoa. The staff was so friendly and polite. They were working hard back there to keep all the patrons satisfied. Also kudos to them for spelling my name right on my drink! Totally made my day lol. I will definitely return to this location and probably decide to come here before I go to a different Starbucks. read more

I got the wrong order - by then the other drink I had ordered was almost gone . I waited patiently for the fixed version and never got it. I kept looking up and making eye contact Incase they forgot my name to call it out. When I got up to ask about my tea, the guy preparing drinks had the nerve to tell me it had been sitting there and he didn't know where I was. I looked at him and told him, really? If you don't know where I am, and you are preparing a drink that is supposed to make up for an error - the least you could do is walk out of behind the counter and try to find me. I ordered an iced coffee. Little to no coffee flavor. Very weak and watered down. So little ice, it was not even much colder than the ambient temp when handed to me. My guess is that it was made immediately after I placed my drive thru order and sat on the counter dying while it took 15 min to get from the order screen to the pickup window. Either that or they just don't know how to brew simple coffee. This was NOT the Starbucks that I know and love so well. :-( read more
