Doral Bakery & Cafeteria were do I begin... I found this place about a couple of years ago while looking for a local bakery City of Doral) to take pastries to business meetings in area. Place has a very clean appearance and display with limited amount of Cuban pastelitos, empanadas and croquetas aside from the usual flan, cheesecake and panetela borrachas. When I asked for box of assorted pastelitos I quickly realized that they didn't have enough to fill a box when baker came out of kitchen and said he would bake them and have them out in 15 minutes. True to his word 15 minutes later they were out of oven and into the box fresh and hot, so I decided to try one and it was shear delight. Needless to say staff is awesome. 5 stars for this bakery that sees me at least once a week!

After thinking pastelitos were the best to take to an office and realizing I was no where near home, where my favorite bakery is I decided to come here after Yelping "pastelitos" anyways located in a small shopping center where parking wasn't that bad but the spaces are small. It was empty at the time I went being around 10:30 AM, there was still an assortment of pastelitos and other bakery food! Nothing looked like it was just sitting there! The employee attending me was sweet as well! The pastelitos passed the taste test, and everyone did enjoy them!

We have been getting our pastelitos here for years, but somehow I never thought of yelping about it or checking in. Until one day, we needed to buy some pastelitos to a gathering on Sunday. Doral Bakery is closed, and so does our plan B cupcake place. We turn to trusty Yelp, and find a place where everybody raves about the pastelitos being best in town. But when we bit into them, we all agreed that the bakery in Doral is better. And this Doral bakery doesn't even have a Yelp listing? Gross injustice. Here goes superwoman, unveiling the big Y on her shirt, to right the wrong and support her favorite little bakery. This bakery's pastelitos are just flakier, with thinner and more layers of pastry in the crust. They have carne, cheese, guava and cheese, coconut, and a few other varieties. Go early for the best selection, often by noon they run out of some flavors. They also have sandwiches for lunch. This bakery is in the same strip mall as Divino Ceviche, just off Palmetto and north of NW 25 St.

Hands down the best coffee in town. I've gone all around Florida and have tried so many different…read morecoffee places, but Macondo takes the place without a second doubt. Seriously, you haven't had coffee before this place. Staff is always lovely and place is always kept clean. It feels so cozy. Cannot recommend more!

I had a great experience at Macondo Coffee Roasters and would definitely come back…read more I ordered the tuna sandwich and substituted the spring mix for arugula. It was absolutely delicious! The portion was surprisingly large, so I ended up eating half and taking the rest home. I also tried the beef plantain empanada, and honestly, you can't go wrong with that combination. The sweet plantain paired perfectly with the savory beef, creating the ideal balance of sweet and salty flavors. My boyfriend ordered the cheese arepa. It was good, but nothing out of this world compared to everything else we tried. For drinks, I had their cold brew made with 100% Colombian coffee. It was incredibly refreshing, and adding two pumps of pistachio syrup took it to another level. My boyfriend ordered the caramel frappe and really enjoyed it as well. One thing I loved was the atmosphere. The decor has a very Colombian feel, which gives the space a lot of character. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to study, work, or just hang out for a while. Overall, great food, great coffee, and a welcoming environment. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

The chicharron was very flavorful but overcooked a little. The food took awhile, but I realize we had a party of 10 for lunch. It was almost 2 hours though. This spot is cozy. There were only about 40 seats and we took up 10 of them. I would go back with a smaller group next time because the food was extremely good.

This one honestly makes me sad to write because Patacon Pisao used to be one of my go-to spots…read more I've been here countless times since I was a kid and over the years had always really enjoyed the food and that neighborhood restaurant feel it had. Unfortunately, this last visit was completely different. The service was extremely slow from the moment we arrived. It took a long time just for someone to acknowledge us, then another long wait to have our order taken, followed by an even longer wait for the food to come out. When it finally arrived, it wasn't at the temperature or quality I remembered. Some of the food was barely warm, while the salmon seemed overly reheated and the patacón was chewy. The whole meal felt like it may have been sitting for a while before reaching our table. What was most disappointing was knowing how good this place used to be. It just didn't have the same quality, attention, or neighborhood feel that made me keep coming back in the past. I really hope this was just an off day because I have genuinely loved this place before. Unfortunately, based on this particular visit, it was a very disappointing experience.

This is the perfect caffeine pick place to hit up in the food hall. They specialize in single-origin, high-altitude Coffee from Colombia that is roasted and handcrafted on-site. They also have some other great photographic worthy drinks like the Wild Purple Lemonade made with Butterfly Pea lemonade that I had to have. The blue in the lemonade is from the Butterfly Pea Flower. It is made from a dried, cobalt blue flower that is native to Southeast Asia. Its scientific name is Clitoria ternatea. Butterfly Pea Flower is a bright blue color and it is sometimes used as a food coloring. When you add the acid of lemon it turns a violet color which is how they achieved the blue/ purple color of the drink. As the lemon distributed throughout, it eventually turned entirely violet. It was expensive for a lemonade but I loved it. Other fun drinks include Passion Fruit Lemonade, Hibuscus Lemonade, Iced Santana Red Tea, and Oreo Iced Latte. They also sold tempting looking desserts which included colorful macarons. When you are craving coffee or a boring can of soda won't quench your thirst because you are craving showstopping refreshment, Tintto by Tributo has just what your Instagram ordered.
