They share a decent size parking lot. So parking is not difficult. The bakery is small but they are always cranking out pastries and breads. They also have cakes and desserts but the bulk of folks here come for the Cuban bread and pastries. Staff is always friendly but as usual English is not their first language. So if you don't speak Spanish just be patient if you can. But you will be in and out because there isn't any seating. It's just take out. The one thing I will add is they have a $3.99 charge when you pay with card. Which is a little crazy but it is what it is. Bring cash to avoid the fee.

My friend ordered an egg/ham breakfast sandwich on croissant bread. He kept mentioning how good the lettuce was (Boston 'butter' lettuce). My coffee was delicious, as were my ham and cheese empanada. It's a bit out of the way for me, but when I need to be in this area for work I'll be sure to stop, and so should you!

The staff was friendly and polite. I ordered the ham and cheese cachito, and oh my goodness... it instantly took me back to the ones I used to eat as a kid in school in Venezuela. The size was perfect, the flavor was spot on, and even though it was a little greasy, it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, just a normal bakery vibe, but I didn't care. The cachito was that good. I didn't try anything else, so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but for the cachitos alone, I'd happily drive from Miami Lakes all the way to Kendall again. We had these treats: Lucuma-chocolate cheesecake -- not too sweet, either flavor/layer; this is just a smooth caramel flavor derived from the lucuma fruit plus the real chocolate layers. Lucuma milkshake -- not too sweet, just a creamy caramel-flavor profile again derived from, counterintuitively, a fruit. Arroz con leche / rice pudding -- delicious, creamy, and a little thin compared to the American counterpart (tends to be thicker consistency); this has cinnamon and a little bit of spiced orange. My wife said it reminded her of her mother's arroz con leche. Little box of alfajores -- we didn't try them yet. This place is 10/10 especially if you are a discerning Peruvian food eater.
